  • Learn how to do an invisible finish in this quick and simple tutorial. Often we finish our last round of crochet with a slip stitch and a chain one. This technique shows you how to finish the last round of crochet with an invisible stitch. This creates a nice finish that makes it easy to join granny squares together (or any other motif) without having to deal with an annoying knot!

Thank you so much! I’m making a granny square blanket and those knots have been the bane of my existence 😢

I LOVE this so much! I can cover the knot most times. But with this, it's not there to even worry about.
    Thank you!

I’m crocheting the “Cozy Days Daisy Blanket” by Stephanie J. Lau. This is a beautiful way to finish your squares, my fellow “hookers.”

Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this before! Those little knots are such a pet peeve of mine. Thanks for the tip!

This is great but what do you do with the middle of the granny square, the magic circle tail, do you weave that string in, too? That’s currently my problem.

I rarely use a magic circle to start granny squares, I do a ch 4 or 5 and make a ring. But...if I do a magic circle...I always, always tie a knot before weaving in the tail end! Now, if your question is how to darn in the tail ends... see this tutorial at 15:00 th-cam.com/video/uFo7oX7QTDA/w-d-xo.html
