I wholeheartedly believe Moria is an endgame ally of the Straw Hats. He's developed as a potential dark timeline Luffy if they sailed to Wano unprepared and lost, and we don't know what he was like before that. Even after Moria lost his entire crew he still didn't give up, and his turn in tactics was explained as being because he cared for his crew and didn't want to lose them again, that drive and caring combined makes Moria in some ways even more Luffy-like than Blackbeard. I also like to point out when it comes to Moria's low strength that he is the definition of out of practice, and we have no idea how close to the strength of his generation at present he was in his prime since he largely just...stopped progressing in order to bide his time and raise his Shadow Army
@@NphiniT I mean, unless they found shelter. Remember, there were a ton of people living on the island without shadows. Moria probably let them, because if they died, he would lose their shadows.
learning haki puts you into captain or vice admiral position so the said skilled swordsmen shadow along with other may have possesed haki but there were more people in luffy [pause] that didnt knew haki thats why it would overwhelm him, like how whitbeard couldnt use haki cause he was too old and overwhelmed
The feat of him completely negging Oars’ punch could’ve had haki on it, because before the time skip Haki wasn’t shown and you only knew someone was using it if they said it explicitly. Nightmare Luffy having haki wouldn’t be out of place, and would explain how much damage he did to Oars.
I don't think that haki experience can be learned by absorbing shadows. I think it's something you need hands on training with for a long time before being able to replicate, even if you "know" how to use it.
Also take this into account if Moria is working with the Strawhats. When luffy took the nightmare form, he did that without Moria's permission or knowledge. He had to hold the shadows in himself with his own willpower. If Moria is working with him in tandem, he might be able to do that work for him, letting him be able to more easily retain his own personality. Maybe even an indefinite period of time, as long as Moria is there to keep it up.
Honestly almost every aspect of it is so underrated, sure the middle part is really slow, and some of the character designs are acquired tastes, but it has some crazy peaks, and SHs vs. Oars/Moria is in my top 3 fights, team fights are just awesome, wish we had more of them. I will comment that Thriller Bark is actually a severely underrated arc, even though it’s not as good as the two sagas sandwiched in between both. I think the hate thrown its way is more intense than it is warranted. It’s just really funny.
I watched some guy reacting to it and it is one of the arc that sanji actually calls zoro by his name and he Fucks with the timeline. In the arc he claims he left the Baratier 3 years ago.
I do hope Moria becomes relevant again. I think demonstrating how powerful his devil fruit could be would actually explain why he was Kaido's rival. If Moria had not lost his way and was able to actually control those 1000 shadows he would have been a force to be reckoned with.
Moria as a support for Blackbeard could be extreme. Imagine Moria infuses Blackbeard with some shadows of his crew. Yes, it would only last 10 minutes, but as a ultimate climax.. That would be really a power to destroy the world.
I am willing to believe that the Moria Luffy fought was not peak Moria, but one who let himself go while he wallowed in negative emotions. The key evidence for me is the Wano flashback showing younger Moria as lean, fit, and most importantly leading his crew from the front. Thriller Bark Moria only resorted to fighting himself when he had no other options.
We're definitely gonna see him soon. Perona literally told Koby "I'll help you escape if you save Moria" Koby has practically escaped so we're about to see big daddy M really soon
@@henrysiemer5320 the entire reason why he got weaker was not because of him letting himself go cause if you compare prime Gecko Moria to present Gecko Moria present Gecko Moria wins in physical strength since he is 5 times bigger than prime Gecko Moria and bulkier the main reason why he got weaker was his abandment in fighting for long time as said before by Jinbei to Gecko Moria "perhaps you should start training more",in conclusion if Gecko Moria was still fighting poeple and honing his skills while building his zombie army after his defeat to kaido he we would be much stronger and even stronger than himself in his prime
If Luffy today could either use one or the other, taking in all those shadows may even make him weaker. If it's diluting his own personality and that's what drives his haki and awakening, he may end up with a much stronger and more informed brain base, but a less focused set of powers. Basically, jack of all trades and master of none. If it doesn't affect him at all, then why not both?
if gear 5 makes luffy not stop laughing, if we mix this with the opposite effect, they would probably nulify each other, meaning that luffy would be normal with haki and way more stronger than gear 5 because all shadows in new world would be completly different then trhiller bark, meaning a way more stronger raw nightmare luffy and even more stronger because would be a gear 5 basse luffy multiplied by the capabilitys of the shadows he gets, keep in mind, the amount of shadows you can absorb is equal to how much your will is, trhiller bark luffy could bear 100, time skip i think would be double, wano luffy with advanced emperor's haki could possibly get to 500 shadows and gear 5 i think can do double it, meaning that it would be like giant Moria with a few more shadows being from new world and not from there where he picked all of those, the shadows from wano would give way more power to luffy, gear 5 nightmare luffy possibly would be the last form, because in base would be giant just like the gear 5 giant form, and with gear 5 it would make luffy become not giant but on the size bigger than entire islands, but well, all that could posssibly be wrong, nothing is for sure
@@animeworld5847but the concept of trapping shadows into his body contradicts one aspect of becoming Luffy, Because Luffy is free, Luffy is Liberation, Then ba dum ba dum the Drums of Liberation.
Thats not how stuff works bro... if you add a lot of skill to a lot of stuff that doesn't mean that you loose all your other skills 😂 You know something called logic? @@ismaelpena8555 At what point do you imagine anybody who knows haki is not using haki to fight? How would you test the claim that Luffy couldn't hurt Kaido without haki when the baseline assumption is that people who know haki are using it whenever it helps them? For the record, the literal first interaction between Kaido and Luffy involves Luffy hurting Kaido. And then Kaido retaliating with significantly more impact.
I do think there’s a scenario/concept i’ve always wondered about, and that’s about giving Luffy the shadow of someone that really, genuinely trusts him with their life, like the straw hats. If the actual people love Luffy so much they’re willing to sail into Hell with him, then I imagine it’s possible the shadows might recognize him and be willing to work with him as long as needed, and only return once Luffy allows them to leave.
I could've sworn Boundman perception-blitzed Doffy. I distinctly remember Doffy attempting to hit an incoming-Luffy with an attack, only for Luffy to effectively disappear and reappear behind him landing a Rhino Schneider. I don't remember how it was portrayed in the manga, but the anime showed Doflamingo completely unaware of Luffy's presence right up until he got hit.
Yeah he just thinks bound man is slower because he doesn’t realize that Navi and ussop people with barely any good perception feats at that point couldn’t perceive him moving and bound man when scaled to stronger opponents oda makes him easier to see
luffy turning into nightmare luffy now would be scary af. thriller bark was in a time were luffy (and alot of the crew i guess) were carefree. That changes after the donut incident, and gets even more serious after the second donut incident. that base carefreeness of pre timeskip luffy musst count for something xD
Since Luffy has trained his conquerors Haki a lot, I doubt he'd be psychologically influenced by the shadows at all. Just like how Moria only got srtonger by absorbing shadows I think with a big enough gap in power between you and the shadows you absorb, there's no chance any of their personalities come through to the surface.
Chapter Title: The will of D. Chapter begins where last chapter left off, Imu revealed themselves in front of Cobra and the five elders Imu is still a silhouette, Cobra is still in shock at what he’s seeing but notices the gorosei are kneeling Imu asks Cobra if he really wants to know what the will of D is, Cobra confirms that the letter passed down along the nefetari family holds such information but he wanted to test the gorosei himself Imu is not surprised by this as they even mention Lili was characteristic of doing such a thing Cobra demands to know what happened to Lili and Imu declares “Lili failed and couldn’t even stay loyal to a friend despite craving their help in a time of need” Cobra doesn’t understand this and asks foe elaboration but Imu has had enough and gets up off the throne and walks towards Cobra At this point, however, Sabo barges into the room at views what is unfolding Imu stares at Sabo and is reminded of a person they once knew presumably (we see the person and they look alot like Sabo) Cobra’s wheelchair turns to particles leaving Cobra on the ground Imu, the gorosei, and Sabo all stand over Cobra, take off their pants and run a train on him. Imu grunts and utters “Bet the letter didn’t say anything about this will of D” They all continue to rail Cobra and give him backshots
Moria’s fruit actually has so much potential uses if he was as creative as luffy, since if he can alter the shapes of shadows, then could he turn them into weapons and use them? He could do a hell of a lot more than he has been shown to do if he was more creative
The parallel of Nightmare Luffy as an anti-Nika is quite disturbing if some theoris about Oz be Joy Boy (and so the former Nika) are true because it would mean that other Zoro VS Ryuma, we had another Past VS Present fight due the Moria's powers
With the whole imagination power of gear 5 I’d love to see gear 5 remember how it felt to be nightmare luffy and replicated it. A hellish version of gear 5 would be amazing
Nightmare Luffy’s durability was tested a little. Just before his last attack, Oars was trying to hit Luffy with a stomp and Luffy shrugged it off continuing his attack like nothing ever happened to him.
I love that Shadow Luffy and ancient giants become somewhat of a benchmark of power. Shadow Luffy stomps Oars. Doflamingo stomps Oars Jr. Gear 4th Luffy stomps Doflamingo. Gear 4th Luffy stomps a Wano Ancient Giant.
Tbh, I think nightmare luffy could come back in a different form such as when luffy is angry. I mean Luffy for most parts is happy but they have been instance where rage & despair drives the wheel such as the time against Kaido so I believe that when Luffy is enraged or despair's the Sun God will manifest in a different form similar to that of nightmare luffy.
I had that Idea in my head for a while now, wouldn't it be cool to see a Bound-man-esque form but mixed up with the physical amps and changes ? Perhaps Gear fifth's form turns dark rather than white when Luffy transforms while holding negative feelings/intentions (and he loses his signature smile)
Crazy Theory: I think moria will join the cross guild and we will get nightmare buggy in the final fight, it would be a nice power up to buggy and would make a good contrast to shanks, like luffy ans blackbeard, where blackbeard is someone who brings destruction and opression, and luffy is someone who brings hope and freedom. Shanks and buggy would be similar, where buggy got strong stealing the strenght of the others and shank got strong all by himself (sorry if bad english)
5:28 Gear 5th Luffy literally did the exact same thing to Kaido's dragon form *a couple chapters BEFORE* the rope skipping, even making Kaido see stars and birds. This Luffy was even compared to Popeye.
Nice video, but I noticed a discrepancy. Multiple times you said nightmare luffy had the experience of 101 people, counting luffy. But luffys shadow was in oars at the time. If luffy just got his own shadow back, that would be a MASSIVE powerup on its own. But if the goofball that is gecko moria was able to manage a thousand shadows, I'm guessing that current luffy would probably get a 1 million shadow form.
Why would getting his shadow back power him up though? You only get a powerup from OTHER shadows because they give you experience that is not your own. It's not like any of the Strawhats lost their abilities upon losing their shadow.
Sometimes we forget that Moria once challenged Kaido for supremacy. Granted, perhaps not prime Kaido but this is a stronger version of Kaido than the one Rocks let in his crew, with the addition of the dragon fruit.
0:38-0:43 a pretty controversial take but one that I agree with. Haki may be one of the most important (possibly even THE most important) traits one would need for fighting, but I don't think it's the end all be all that people think it is. After all Haki wouldn't amount to much if the user doesn't have any physical strength anyway.
If Pudding were to awaken her DF, could she make Luffys body "remember" it's nightmare Luffy form and allow Luffy to transform back into nightmare Luffy even without moria?
1. That statement about Rayleigh is clearly hyperbolic. 2. The multiplied strength is somewhat fair, but also Lola would have no idea how that many souls in one body would even work. she had done experiments but not really. 3. every shadow there was weaker then the straw hats, and almost certainly by a bit. they ALL lost to Moria or his men. I highly doubt many even GOT to Moriah, or even fought him. 4. we know Luffy can wipe out far more then 100 highly skilled people easily. In fact, just throwing numbers at him doesn't really work, even at this point. I do think it was more akin to a GEAR 4 powerup, not Gear 5. Gear 5 not only has absurd might (taking luffy from only kinda keeping up with Kaido to BEATING HIM EASILY) insane durability, and his awakening affecting the world, easily makes it stronger. 5. Getting into the grand line is somewhat impressive, but not really. It's the second half that's what is impressive. Also normal ass marines can get into the grand line, an admiral can carry them in easily. (although that would be WAY overkill, you get my point) 6. Feat of stength? you want one? Little garden. the giant skull I think dory lifted? and put it on luffy to pin him down? 7. We have not "definitly" decided that he is stronger. We don't even know how strong Oars was as a corpse compared to his old self. Now if you wan't a LUFFY feat of strength, we probably won't get one, since anyone who is anyone will have HAKI and as such, luffy will need a clash. However, using 100 random people nobody knows and combining them, It's hard to say how much luffy got stronger. 8. Fair. Combined experience (although from an army of novices) is... alright. I think you misremember something. Luffy was the MAJORITY of the strength of nightmare luffy. I can prove it too. an exhausted luffy, after beating oars, goes and beats MORIA 1v1 when Moria has How many souls in him?!?! he had the same "nightmare" powerup but it clearly didn't matter. he just beat the shit out of him anyway. Now, at least in theory, if you used MUCH better quality and willing souls, nightmare luffy could definitly wipe out gear 5 easily. take current Luffy + his crew + his fleet and I don't see anyone winning.
Also a vomitorium is an exit to a large building like the coliseum where there people “vomit out of the building”. I’m pretty sure the root word vomit in Latin just means come out or whatever. Romans didn’t feast and then vomit
5:00 well, the Red Line is a (The) continent, and it has many types of weather/seasons, almost as if many different islands were smashed into eachother. Maybe Ancient Giants created the Red Line? (Or, counter Theory: all the islands were once part of the Red Line, but broken off and moved by Ancient Giants.)
Just rewatched Thriller Bark with a buddy as he makes his way through the series, and yeah Nightmare Luffy was absurd, I genuinely think he may be able to go toe to toe with Kaido for a small amount of time
11:30 Casual reminder that vomitoriums were just exit ways were people would spill out and NOT a place for ancient Romans to throw up so they could eat more.
6:50 and the wimpy big guy from the funk brothers, he was able to ignore a haki-infused hasshoken battle axe completely while cowering, nothing compared to the big people but still there since he wasn't using haki at all
What if the end of OP is a parallel to thriller bark (im sure someone has had this idea) - if Devil fruits are like shadows inside people. The"devils" are actually the souls of people from the ancient kingdom. Moria being in Oar's body foreshadows IMU being in some sort of vessel body. In the same way the dawn will kill those caught without a shadow, a giant flood will sweep the earth once the red line is broken to allow the "All blue" to form and the whales to travel the globe - the ark on fishman island will also be used. Chopper will develop a way to exercise the Devils from DF users before hand (hence his Human Human fruit awakening). Luffy will have some sort of final transformation beyond G5 to defeat IMU/blackbeard or final boss.
I like the thematic idea of Nightmare Luffy and Sun God Nika being two sides of the same coin. Light and Shadow, one not existing without the other, and both becoming stronger from the other's influence. As light gets brighter, shadows get darker.
1., I don't think Moria's shadow posession would work on the top tiers (scibukai+), it is likely haki dependent like Law's fruit powers. If Moria could get anyone's shadow, he would have become the pirate king long time ago. Also notice he had been doing the pirate business for quite some years when we met him, but still his biggest capture was Luffy and they were celebrating quite much that they could get a 300m berry bounty guy - I think it is because Luffy was the most powerful guy they could capture who did not have the haki to counter the DF power and they knew they would probably not find a stronger foe, hence they decided to put his shadow into Oars. 2., I don't think shadows can have negative or 0 effect. The way I understood is that other than experience, the raw power of the person's shadow is added to the person who consumes the shadows. Note that most of the shadows were regular soldiers/pirates/ppl, still made Luffy way stronger. Long story short, Usopp's shadow would probably count as a +1 regular person's strength. 3., G4 luffy has at least a comparable raw power to nightmare, do not forget that 1 kong gun sent Doffy through half of an island through terrain, while he was blocking the attack too. So the only downside I see is that g4 Luffy actually needs to charge/punch. 4., G4 bman's speed can also be comparable. Don't forget he basically teleported to doflamingo who did not even notice geting hit by Rhino Schneider, also similar stuff happened with Leo Bazoka.
I mean, when you absorb the powers and abilities of 100 people, I suppose it only makes sense that you gain power equivalent to or greater than what is essentially a living cartoon.
I never read thriller bark, I only watched it, so it’s really cool to see that gear 5 v Kaido literally took that oars panel verbatim, just like gear 5 luffy vs Awakened Lucci
No I think you're spot on tbh. He stopped Oars's punch w one hand! Slapped him around too, all w out haki. Just strength. Nightmare Luffy was a monster. I completely agree the shadows compounded and there must have been some strong ones, but I think the vessel was just as important. Not just Luffy's strength, tenacity and df all of which are formidable, but also Luffy's instincts and mind for battle. We've seen him pull out genius and creative, sometimes also silly.. maybe mostly also silly, effective tactics on the fly in battle. Imagine him having exponentially more experience and tactics to draw from. If Luffy could have kept Nightmare Luffy form he would have saved Ace and would not have had drive or even reason to learn haki imo. Nightmare Luffy would have broken the story. Oda wisely knew there's no speed running and epic story like this
I think a very basic argument beats this sadly. Moria got the same shadow's buff (maybe a better one? he did have the devil fruit) and non-nightmare luffy beat him. Luffy was doing the majority of what we saw (besides the skillful things, obviously)
Moria is one of my favorite antagonists, and I do really hope that he will be relevant later, instead of just killed off. Man clashed with Kaido, and while the latter did murder his entire crew, he fucking FOUGHT KAIDO AND LIVED.
Australia is an Island, but because of politics it is a continent. It's also a country. There is this guy named Liam who talks about one piece, I think he lives there, but I don't think he remembers Oars pulling the roos out of antarctica.
Don't forget to mention, if nightmare luffy were to contain a few shadows of strong haki users, then he'd gain the ability of using haki himself. So that's how nightmare luffy can counter bound man's haki
Blackbeard with this fruit could potentially combine it with his darkness logia in a terrifying way. Like if Blackbeard use his “black hole” ability that sucks everything in how many shadows could he store inside? Potentially infinite or at least tens of thousands? Imagine nightmare Blackbeard with 10,000 shadows throwing quake quake punches..
Chapter 1,085 has just dropped and you won't believe it. But Imu's true identity is still a mystery. That being said, a massive detail involving the Nefertari family will leave everyone in a utter shock.
For the record I voted for nightmare Luffy and I always thought he could win because I remembered what he could do cuz I just love the idea of him so much kind of like Luffy Hulk
I only know this bc i rewatched the doffy vs gear 4th fight but bound man can be super quick. He dodged overheat and then suddenly appeared next to doflamingo to kick him.
Swordsman Nightmare Luffy is one of the best and strongest Swordsman in OP. That scene was awesome, only topped by Swordsman Luffy in Wano where he holds a sword and punches his enemy😂😂.
The only way Nightmare Luffy can hurt Boundman is by using his sword. But Boundman can easily counter that with haki. On the other hand every blow delt by Boundman will work on Nightmare Luffy.
There absolutely are continents in One Piece. Chinjao split a continent in half, and we can even look at how the river in alabasta is 50 km wide. Alabasta is so large compared to that river, that some people even compare it to Australia. gear 3 Luffy also broke Oars' bones in that arc, and Luffy has many feats of speed way higher than anything nightmare Luffy showed.
Hello can you please make a video on, top 10 strongest devil fruit users vs 10 strongest haki users please, the current manga characters, not the ones who have already become donuts
You are still underestimating nightmare luffy. For starters, defense was shown. He took a full on punch from oars and stopped it with 1 hand. When every other member of the straw hat crew took a punch from oars it was enough to pretty much 1 shot them. That means nightmare luffy had the power to absorb an attack from oars and take no damage as it was still technically a hit as it did make impact. As for strength, remember that he was throwing oars around with ease. Its one thing to swing someone around but to literally throw them is another and he threw oars a significant distance. As for speed, you forget that not only do an instant sword attack but he also performed a rapid high speed attack that caused not only full body convulsions for oars but also Moria as well whom he also hit. That would mean he had to do dozens of extremely powerful hits that hit several parts of his body at the same time. As for hacks, you forget that luffy had the ability to sense where moria and oars was. He had the masters skills of a swordsman. He had most of his rubber abilities still intact. He also was far far taller in size but with a solid control of his size that allowed him to move fast even with a big body. That is not as common as you may think in one piece as there are quite a lot of big men but out of all of them there are an extreme few that are super fast without a devil fruit hack to aid them. As for stamina, there is the 10 minutes issue but you also have to remember that gear 4th luffy is not a predefined time limit. It is based on how much stamina he has left. Luffy from time to time has wasted his energy in gear 4 too quickly and easily gotten beaten where is nightmare luffy judging by the massive stamina he showed during the battle could keep going in battle indefinitely until that 10 minutes is up. All in all pretty much I still think nightmare luffy with the exception of gear 5th is his strongest form. I think many of you as Jay-z said it best, need a reminder of just how crazy nightmare luffy really was.
that Moria guy also happens to be convinently held in the place controlled by that one guy who's able to nullify devil fruit powers, which, you know, would also prevent the sun god transformation
It is crazy that blackbeard's crew did not take moria's devil fruit. I do not mean just for themselves but i think it would have sold very high given its potential, Plus using this devil fruit to gain fast access to people's skills seems like something blackbeard would want on his side.
If Nightmare Luffy was a foreshadow (I think Bound Man) then there is another foreshadow: the wax luffy that was in Impel Down. The fight vs Magellan. I wonder what that foreshadows... (except if it is G5)
the shadows Luffy absorbed were nameless characters who we don't even know the power off. Nightmare Luffy is barely island level and scales relative to 1000 shadow Moria who split the island. Dressrosa base Luffy was capable of clashing with continent splitters without gear 4. NM Luffy isn't even above base Luffy in Egghead rn...
Okay now for the biggest thing to happen- Gear 5th Nightmare Luffy! Outside of this this discussion/debate is like the age old debates of whether Gogeta or Vegito is the strongest fusion in DBZ.
To the point of Oars being the continent puller and no continents existing in OP, except the Red Line... Could it be that he pulled continents apart and relocated pieces of it? Thus creating the weird islands only world we know? Or alternatively, could he have somehow put the Red Line together with pieces of other continents? Idk if this makes any sense whatsoever, I'm pretty high right now. Cool video though. Lol
Thanks for giving me a reason to to review all the characters we've seen since Moria came back into the story and make sure they do have their shadows.
A non comical Luffy with the strengh to back him up + the colective information from the shadows is a scary concept, current Luffy in nightmare form would be some sort of a Kaido so yeah makes G4 even more pointless(still looks cool in SnakeMan variant).

learning haki puts you into captain or vice admiral position so the said skilled swordsmen shadow along with other may have possesed haki but there were more people in luffy [pause] that didnt knew haki thats why it would overwhelm him, like how whitbeard couldnt use haki cause he was too old and overwhelmed
The feat of him completely negging Oars’ punch could’ve had haki on it, because before the time skip Haki wasn’t shown and you only knew someone was using it if they said it explicitly. Nightmare Luffy having haki wouldn’t be out of place, and would explain how much damage he did to Oars.

Haki is supposedly all about willpower. So I believe he could affirm himself and let his personality run free no matter how much we try to dilute it.
if gear 5 makes luffy not stop laughing, if we mix this with the opposite effect, they would probably nulify each other, meaning that luffy would be normal with haki and way more stronger than gear 5 because all shadows in new world would be completly different then trhiller bark, meaning a way more stronger raw nightmare luffy and even more stronger because would be a gear 5 basse luffy multiplied by the capabilitys of the shadows he gets, keep in mind, the amount of shadows you can absorb is equal to how much your will is, trhiller bark luffy could bear 100, time skip i think would be double, wano luffy with advanced emperor's haki could possibly get to 500 shadows and gear 5 i think can do double it, meaning that it would be like giant Moria with a few more shadows being from new world and not from there where he picked all of those, the shadows from wano would give way more power to luffy, gear 5 nightmare luffy possibly would be the last form, because in base would be giant just like the gear 5 giant form, and with gear 5 it would make luffy become not giant but on the size bigger than entire islands, but well, all that could posssibly be wrong, nothing is for sure

Yeah he just thinks bound man is slower because he doesn’t realize that Navi and ussop people with barely any good perception feats at that point couldn’t perceive him moving and bound man when scaled to stronger opponents oda makes him easier to see
And he blitzed kat without future sight

thriller bark was in a time were luffy (and alot of the crew i guess) were carefree.
Chapter begins where last chapter left off, Imu revealed themselves in front of Cobra and the five elders
Imu is still a silhouette, Cobra is still in shock at what he’s seeing but notices the gorosei are kneeling
Imu asks Cobra if he really wants to know what the will of D is, Cobra confirms that the letter passed down along the nefetari family holds such information but he wanted to test the gorosei himself
Imu is not surprised by this as they even mention Lili was characteristic of doing such a thing
Cobra demands to know what happened to Lili and Imu declares “Lili failed and couldn’t even stay loyal to a friend despite craving their help in a time of need”
Cobra doesn’t understand this and asks foe elaboration but Imu has had enough and gets up off the throne and walks towards Cobra
At this point, however, Sabo barges into the room at views what is unfolding
Imu stares at Sabo and is reminded of a person they once knew presumably (we see the person and they look alot like Sabo)
Cobra’s wheelchair turns to particles leaving Cobra on the ground
Imu, the gorosei, and Sabo all stand over Cobra, take off their pants and run a train on him. Imu grunts and utters “Bet the letter didn’t say anything about this will of D” They all continue to rail Cobra and give him backshots

Nightmare Luffy just went Nah.... that is best line. I love Liam's comedy.
The parallel of Nightmare Luffy as an anti-Nika is quite disturbing if some theoris about Oz be Joy Boy (and so the former Nika) are true because it would mean that other Zoro VS Ryuma, we had another Past VS Present fight due the Moria's powers
Guys, guys. Nightmare Luffy with all of the Strawhats shadows. Game over.
With the whole imagination power of gear 5 I’d love to see gear 5 remember how it felt to be nightmare luffy and replicated it. A hellish version of gear 5 would be amazing
i was just rewatching thriller bark, nightmare luffy was soooo coooool
Nightmare Luffy’s durability was tested a little. Just before his last attack, Oars was trying to hit Luffy with a stomp and Luffy shrugged it off continuing his attack like nothing ever happened to him.
8:57 I never thought of the possibility of Rocks D. Xebec being the Fusion of one hundred 7 years olds, nice theory you got there👍👌
I love that Shadow Luffy and ancient giants become somewhat of a benchmark of power.
Shadow Luffy stomps Oars.
Doflamingo stomps Oars Jr.
Gear 4th Luffy stomps Doflamingo.
Gear 4th Luffy stomps a Wano Ancient Giant.
it upsets me when bound man is a topic and rhino Schneider never gets brought up. its so cool
Crazy Theory:
I think moria will join the cross guild and we will get nightmare buggy in the final fight, it would be a nice power up to buggy and would make a good contrast to shanks, like luffy ans blackbeard, where blackbeard is someone who brings destruction and opression, and luffy is someone who brings hope and freedom. Shanks and buggy would be similar, where buggy got strong stealing the strenght of the others and shank got strong all by himself (sorry if bad english)
I agree, If Moria took only hundredths of shadow he can easy sweep Luffy but he decided to take thousands which he cannot handle.
I made a post about this on reddit 4 years ago. I'm glad people are having the same thought
There’s a great theory that the 9 God Knights have Joyboy’s crew’s shadows inside them and they will be the final matchup for the Straw Hats🤯
A vomitorium isn't a place for puking, but rather a place where people exit a coliseum from
I allwase get so hyped for a new food from u bro
I just came down into the comments to see how many people corrected the Vomitorium thing and so far none! Good job Nakama! Good job staying on topic!
No. That makes no sense.
(although that would be WAY overkill, you get my point)
I really hope we get a flashback to prime Moria and why he could rival kaido. His power is extremely unique and he can boost his power at will.
He didn't know he could boost his powers with shadows until he saw Luffy do it
Also a vomitorium is an exit to a large building like the coliseum where there people “vomit out of the building”. I’m pretty sure the root word vomit in Latin just means come out or whatever. Romans didn’t feast and then vomit
That's the only time being Blue-Balled is actually good
5:00 well, the Red Line is a (The) continent, and it has many types of weather/seasons, almost as if many different islands were smashed into eachother. Maybe Ancient Giants created the Red Line?
(Or, counter Theory: all the islands were once part of the Red Line, but broken off and moved by Ancient Giants.)
Gear 5th Luffy: "This isn't even my Final Form!"
Just rewatched Thriller Bark with a buddy as he makes his way through the series, and yeah Nightmare Luffy was absurd, I genuinely think he may be able to go toe to toe with Kaido for a small amount of time
I love one piece

10:36 Moria can't take the shadow of someone whose haki is stronger than his because we now know that haki can nullify devil fruit powers
7:00 bro that was sooo uncalled for.... true. but uncalled for
I like the thematic idea of Nightmare Luffy and Sun God Nika being two sides of the same coin.
5:04 Forgive me if I come across as a smart ass but you could call the red line a continent since it goes around the world like a ring
I never read thriller bark, I only watched it, so it’s really cool to see that gear 5 v Kaido literally took that oars panel verbatim, just like gear 5 luffy vs Awakened Lucci
This video went from "Why nightmare Luffy is underrated" to "Why the Kage-Kage no mi is OP"
5:14 😮 omg I can’t believe it!
Dude that impenetrable joke was hilarious!!!😭😭😭 you sir win in one piece break downs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Correction: Oars did not use Luffy's powers, it was just shadow manipulation mimicry.
Beat me to it.
Nightmare Luffy originally was meant to be a parody of Freddy from the Elm Street films
I think moria could join the crew as a support kinda like chopper who supports and sometimes fights
that Moria guy also happens to be convinently held in the place controlled by that one guy who's able to nullify devil fruit powers, which, you know, would also prevent the sun god transformation
Nightmare luffy voice in the Japanese version is squeaky
I know this is random. But did anyone else notice we already seen luffys fruit awakened ? In film red when he's fighting with tot music.
It's so rare to see you talking about the always polemic power levels
the shadows Luffy absorbed were nameless characters who we don't even know the power off.
Hey Liam i noticed that your thumbnails are getting super good, great job man
To the point of Oars being the continent puller and no continents existing in OP, except the Red Line...
The only time Luffy went full on Incredible Hulk.
A non comical Luffy with the strengh to back him up + the colective information from the shadows is a scary concept, current Luffy in nightmare form would be some sort of a Kaido so yeah makes G4 even more pointless(still looks cool in SnakeMan variant).
