Love the Wilburys anyone else who likes them should check out the making of the Traveling Wilburys it's excellent this whole album was recorded in someone's living room lol
Just got back to playing my guitar after a few years (having been in a group in the 60/70’s), having had a stroke in which I found I couldn’t get the rhythm right. Luckily for me, I have just changed my electric guitar for an acoustic guitar. Now just listening to the Wilbury’s , been a fan for a number of years, it has given me a real buzz. Looking forward to your instructions. Great tips. Thanks.
Thanks Peter. Are you a regular user of the main website too - there's so much more to explore over there. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
Thank you again for another great lesson yet again. A little more that 16 minutes in you explain the technique and reason for finding the groove by strumming on muted strings. THIS IS A GEM!
So glad to see you more frequent on here again Justin , I started playing over 10 years ago and learned to play my first of many songs with your vids , you song tutorials are the best breakdown and very beginner friendly for anyone reading this. I feel like I can keep up with ya now! Cheers from Canada mate!
Another great tutorial of a wonderful song. It's fun to play, fun to sing, easy enough for beginners but plenty of room for more experienced players to keep it interesting. Excellent post Justin!!
Fantastic introduction to playing this for an oldie thanks Justin. Hooked on this tune. Appreciate your patients and clear instructions teaching this 🎸
By the time you kick the bucket, you’ll be one of the most prolific and one of the best guitar song teachers on the planet. I’m convinced of it. You’re awesome Justin. No bs. You’ve been awesome for a long time. Just teaching ppl the songs they want to learn in the most sensible way possible. It’s weird calling ppl Justin because that’s my name too.
You’re such a beauty. I’m nearly 11 month into learning guitar and all thanks to you! I’ve started in person lessons now. Love it. Thanks Justin for all you do.
So glad you did this song. I have been playing it for a while but with a different strumming pattern. I like your boom chuck better. You singing voice has greatly improved over the years. You sound great on this song. Thanks for everything you do for us.
Absolutely brilliant these songs are pure gold and I appreciate you showing them on your videos 🙂🙂I get your vibe by thinking you are actually playing along with the band absorbed in it
Hello JustinGuitar i have to say thank you beacuse you were the FIRST youtuber that thaught me chords and thats how i began my journey of learning guitar it has been 5 years since i started playing and I have to say that you are one of the best teachers that i had along a few other youtubers but I will always remember were i started and if anybody asks me who to watch you will defenetly be my recomendation so thank you very much!
Hey Justin, I have been following your lessons for quite a few years now and if you don't mind me saying that's the best I have heard your vocals. Keep up the great work 🎸🎸🎶
I have the original sheet music of this song. In error, all over TH-cam, everyone is teaching the use of the e-minor triad at the 12th fret … it is a actually an a-major triad. Whilst e-minor is in key, it is not used at all in this song. Rewatch George Harrison in the official video, and you’ll see he uses the a-major triad, all whilst wearing the slide on his pinky.
Great 2nd song from them! Roy had already left us before they could shoot the video clip for it! SAD! They had a photo of Roy in a chair next to them! Sadly alm all of them are now gone! Great version Juz! \m/
Really cool and thank you for the lesson. It would be a nice touch if you could provide a suggestion for playing a melody/little lead line or two that tracks the vocal melody(ies) - I know we should be sorting that out ourselves. But a little bit of guidance on how that can be constructed (on this song or any) goes a long way and beats just trying to fit arps/pentx over the chords. Would love your guidance on that! Thanks, Justin.
I already play ‘Handle with Care’ (though I pick most of it because I find strumming not as easy…that’s what comes of being self-taught. I did it back to front!) so I’m pleased to add this one. Getting those bass notes right is harder than I expected though. 😀
Great lesson, even though I know how to play it, still very educating, Little things that I didn't notice. Thank you! On the other had, I was trying to learn Bryan Adams' Only The Strong Survive, very cool reef and slide, could not figure it out, tried to find a lesson to no avail. Such a great song.
Great lesson and tune. I am currently working on E and A shaped barre chords. Is there any chance you could do a lesson of One Summer - Daryl Braithwaite please I just love the guitar style in this tune. Also I am Aussie living in Ireland so missing the Summer ;)

So cool, definitely a must watch.
Geoff Lynn’s living room in LA.

I was actually pretty entranced and forgot I was watching a guitar lesson until it ended.
Such a good song, such a good lesson!

This song gives me hope
Fairly easy & enjoyable to play on bass (which I have been doing for 3 years). I am enjoying learning it on guitar too now.

I had been thinking about this song. Mostly for the chord progression. Justin comes through again.
Great 2nd song from them! Roy had already left us before they could shoot the video clip for it! SAD! They had a photo of Roy in a chair next to them!

"It stops getting boring for the listener" lol. I love this lesson, btw.
You are a legend still going strong!
That’s a very chic blanket btw
Great song, great band. There's a great little slide guitar riff played bij Geordge Harrison, just before the Tom Petty part.
