I agree. I used to visit it when I would go up to visit my son, and when I used to live up there. My son has moved, so I probably won't go there anymore.
Friends & I frequent this shop several times a year. The fabrics, kits AND staff are awesome. The ladies are very helpful, caring, and very willing to help with any questions. Give yourself a treat. Grab a few friends and share the day HERE. 👍🏻👏🥳🎊🌻
When I was in Lancaster PA earlier this year I should have gone with a fabric purchase in mind. If I have a chance to go again... I definitely will. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for another wonderful shop tour. I love the Teresa Kogut quilt. This is a great shop I love that they have already made merchandise. Thank you for making these videos 😊🧵🪡🤩🤗⛄️❄️🎄
I make an 8 hour trip every year just for this shop. My favorite by far and the prices are much cheaper than I can get at home in NC. The people who work here are always helpful and friendly.
I was just there two weeks ago. This is my favorite Quilt shop. It's a good thing that I only get there every few months, because my wallet is a lot lighter when I leave!💰💰💸
I discovered this store this Fall. The fabric selection was fabulous. I also loved the small yardage scrap section. A definite MUST STOP when you're in Bird-In-Hand.
I just saw on FB today, that the motel across from it, had an explosion. Hopefully no one was hurt. Have you been to the other quilt shops in that area? I lived there for 4 years, and I've only been to that one.
I am originally from York right across the river and now live in North Carolina - I try to get up to PA at least once a year and thus is one of the shops I always visit! There are a few right down the street that I never miss! My trios have a,owed down as I get older (I drive myself so I take my time!) but I’ll be coming g back up in September for the AQS show! I am very excited for AQS to be returning to Lancaster County and I a,ready have my calendar marked for 2025! This is a super video and makes me excited to be able,to get back up! Thanks for the visit!
I used to live in NC, near Asheville. I moved back and forth from PA to NC a few times, and now I'm just over the state line, in TN. I have been to the vendor market for the quilt show, but never the actual show.
Thanks for the tour. My husband and I visited PA over 35 years ago. We bought a quilt from a Mennonite woman in Bird-in-Hand. It’s showing some wear, but we still use that quilt.
@@PriviesandPrimsNeedlecrafts I think we looked at the quilts in the woman’s home - or it may have been some sort of studio. The quilts were all opened up on a bed, with maybe 25 quilts all piled one on the other. She went through, uncovering each so you could see it. I didn’t realize at the time, but her husband removed any quilt that we showed interest in. After going through the pile, we went outside. There, hanging on clotheslines, were all the quilts we had liked. What a gorgeous array it was!
Thanks for watching! I'm sure I didn't get everything in the video. Definitely stop there if you're in the area! 😍

Their prices are lower than my local quilt shop also, and I like their selection of primitive fabrics.
