ETS2/ATS Tutorial: How to make a building model for the map editor!

In this tutorial I show you how to make a building type model (like a fence, wall, railing etc) for the ATS and ETS2 editor.
I show you how to make them, how they function and how they should look properly with the shadows.
If you'd like to see other tutorials feel free to suggest them but I can't promise I can cover them all.

Like a custom company? I haven't seen a tutorial on that, and I don't know how they work. I will try it sometime just to see how easy/hard it is. I'm comfortable making them I will do a tutorial.

Youre welcome, flag models require animation and that's one thing I dont know how to do in Blender sorry. There may come a time when I can learn it though.

Thanks, I did start Modeling a DAF 2600 from scratch, but it never went anywhere. I might carry it on. I'm determined to do a truck from scratch but it's an awful amount of work. I had a majority of the front modeled with glass, I'll see sometime about carrying it on.

I tryed your tutorial step by step, but at the point with the textur, blender doesnt show the textur on the cube. I made the Textur in TGA 256 x 256. Was this wrong?

Hi DigitalX, do you have tutorial on how to update the Map from version 1.43 to 1.44.

Unless your signs' font are messed up all you need to do is "rebuild" the map in the map editor. It's along the top row.
