I miss the time when Simpsons Halloween Episodes (or just The Simpsons in general) was something to get excited about. And I forgot just how much Looney Tunes were used in marketing back in the 90s, especially Taz, who seemed to be everywhere.
Awesome nostalgic bits for "Treehouse of Horror VI", which is hands down one of the best if not _the_ best Simpsons Halloween Specials of all time. What a great batch of Halloween-season FOX ads.
Fyi, that's not just ANY Nike commercial. That's a Nike commercial with KRS-1 on the mic. Get it right son!

That IBM commercial was somehow ingrained into my head; haven’t seen it since probably 1995, but it was always in heavy rotation and when I just watched it on here, it felt like I had just watched it the other day.
I still have that Alien trilogy VHS set somewhere! Alien and Aliens is a masterpiece, but I also really loved Alien3.

I recorded Treehouse of Horror VI and V that night too, though it didn't have commercials on it; the same tape had episodes of Spider-Man ("Morbius") and Earthworm Jim ("The Egg Beater") from the same weekend. Sadly, ever since we moved it's been in my batch of tapes that went missing and I've been searching for it since.

I remember we had the asteroids combo cart on game boy was actually a decent port if memory serves! although I agree disco was probably not the best choice for these compilations.

6:36- Yeah, buy the Alien trilogy, but be sure to throw Alien 3 in the trash.
ExplorerDS6789 Nooooo I really love that movie. Not as good as the previous two and it went through development hell with script changes, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and Morse was awesome with his line, “I say we take her head and shove it through the f****** wall!”
That movie was just dark and dreary with no elements of fun whatsoever. The camraderie between the crews in the first two films is what made them fun and the characters seem real. Also, they killed off Hicks and Newt for no reason at all, other than to "hit the reset button" and make Ripley all alone again.
