@ical Yeah, or slipstreaming, however you wanna call it. But many people think, only the following driver gets an advantage, when in reality both profit from it. I think they even could make more use of it, teaming up like that on straights. In a team the driver that follows, almost always overtakes when he can. But what if he stays behind, then there is no overtake manouver, that potentially makes both leave the ideal line, and both are faster, because of the shared slipstream. If that makes sense.

That race was just so exciting. Ducati manage to get 2 podium and yamaha V got his long over due win. But, Suzuki's Mir was very impressive with his progress on the race. I really like Zarco and Mir's ferocious tenacity! Let's see who will prevail this year!

Ducati has had the most powerful engine since the Stoner days in 2007. It is the corner speed that matters in Moto GP which is why Vinales won the race on the slowest bike on the straight.
@@shonaboy7554 , yeah, ducati is the most powerfull in the straight line but not that good in cornering. Yamaha is the most balanced between power/top speed and cornering.
That's why when Rossi moved to ducati, things didn't going well. Rossi's driving style which prefers to overtake during corners cannot be maximized when using the Desmosedici. Dovizioso and Stoner are the riders best suited to the Ducati style, trying their best to shorten the distance with the opponent throughout the lap, then overtake in the long straight.
