I have rooted for Bagnaia for the past few years, but facing this championship objectively, especially after Aragon and Emilia Romagna, I have to admit Martin deserves the title more than he does. Too many sophomoric mistakes, too many inconsistent races, at this point, to be a 3 time champion. Bagnaia should have been much more solid than he is at this moment in his carreer. Meanwhile, Martin himself is showing a kind of maturity and level headedness of a deserving champion.
What? If you are complaining about Bagnaia inconsistencies, why aren't you complaining about Martin's? He also crashed out multiple times this season, that's why Bagnaia almost took the lead back. Both are riding on the absolute limit and both are making mistakes. Do you know who deserve the title? Whoever finishes with more points, that's all...both are worthy of the title as both have shown to be greats, but pushing each other to the limit they are bound to fail. Even Marquez has crashed multiple times this season on a Duc so crashing is clearly part of the sport.

There's still 6 races to go, so it's very possible for Bagnaia to reach his hattrick MotoGP world champion this season 2024 In 2022 he's already left 91 points from FQ, but look at the end of that season In 2023 Bagnaia again showed his mentality strength to overcome Martin in a few last races

Comeon dude if it was sapnish GP and if it was Martin on Enea or any other Spanish rider then also it would have been same. Stewards are not consistent which is known thing. People never opposed when Rossi and specially when Marc normalized Rubbing is Racing stuff, so now everyone trying to be aggressive and misano is hard for overtaking, all riders have said that and with those bikes, with aero and ride height devices this is what you have to do.

These aren't cars - there is a rider and two tiny patches of rubber. Things only have to go slightly wrong for two bikes to crash out of a race. There has to be a limit to how hard you can race, and "didn't safely negotiate the turn after overtaking" is a pretty obvious line you shouldn't cross.

If Bastianini did everything the same without Martin been in his way, he would have run wide and lost 2 seconds in the corner (he was 'off line' for the corner). When MM 'shoves it up the inside' he is traveling faster on a tighter line than the rider he is passing and would be faster through the corner than the other rider if they weren't competing for the same piece of tarmac.

If Bastianini did everything the same without Martin been in his way, he would have run wide and lost 2 seconds in the corner (he was 'off line' for the corner). When MM 'shoves it up the inside' he is traveling faster on a tighter line than the rider he is passing and would be faster through the corner than the other rider if they weren't competing for the same piece of tarmac.
