Iron Ram Forge is a blacksmith shop run by father and son pair Mike and Ethan Yazel. The duo operates out of their dual story workshop they built together on the family farm. In the basement they work in the hot shop with metal and glass, on the second story they work with wood to make carvings and furniture as well as fine hand engraving for jewelery and historic accoutrements.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why a custom firearm cost so much. You're paying for the attention to detail in a piece of art. Nice video...thank you!

I enjoyed this video with the utmost envy of your talent, and skills.
About a minute and a half into something like this I'd be shaking too much to get much done.

Now there's an idea, carve out a 10-22, I bet it would look great 👍👍👍

4:15 that's a good demo on dealing with that dive at the curl, and how to switch direction to deal with it. I've been wrestling with a fairly soft, corky piece of walnut with a lot of curl. The grounding has taken forever.

    • @TheIronRam

These are available to purchase from many muzzleloading supply shops out there like Dixie, Log Cabin, Track of the Wolf, etc. They work great!

No luck finding those at the sources listed. Love the idea, but some specifics about where to find these scrapers would be very helpful!@@TheIronRam
