The program was beautifully emceed by Carmen South senior, America Perez, who shared heartfelt stories about her family’s deep connection to Carmen Schools. From educator Samuel Perez Vallejo to the current Perez students at South and Southeast, the Perez family exemplifies our mission to prepare students who are college-bound, career-ready, and community-engaged.
By 2026, Carmen Schools will proudly celebrate the graduation of 21 Perez family members-a testament to the lasting impact of our work.
