Dude, I am loving your channel. You work kind of like I do. If something doesn't work you don't get frustrated. You just come at it from a different angle until it comes together. And that my friend is how you become better and better. I'm definitely not as proficient as you, but watching channels like yours is getting me there slowly, but surely. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it. 👍
Yeah, Il love to just hit record and tackle the project without any pre planning. Over time I'm realizing that almost any project is possible, at least to some extent. Lol
Lots more to come! I tackle a bit of a challenge in the next video, and I think it ended well! Probably will post that one tomorrow morning. 👍
BTW Nice technique to make a shape curved.
Thanks! 🙏
Could have duplicated the head of the hammer into a hole and grouped it to the rock so it could have been printed in 2 pieces. Then either glued the hammer into the rock or keep it as 2 pieces. But awesome tutorial. Do you share these STLs?
Yeah! Great idea. I actually thought about doing that but I thought it would print fine at that angle so went with the all at once approach. I don't have my STL's listed anywhere yet but I might in the future. Maybe someday I'll do channel membership and make them available tol members or something. 🤔
Mostly I like to encourage people to try and make their own version but I do realize that not everyone has the time or want, to do so. :)
The handle is too long. Thor's hammer has a shorter handle.
I think it's about perfect when comparing it to photos online. In the thumbnail it looks really long because of the angle.
In most the photos on Google the handles are about 2 1/2 times the width of the hammer head. And that's what I did.
