Actually, I'm always doing that as a first step in a drawing.
It really helps me to avoid anatomy mistakes 😖 It can happen so fast to do some if I'm skipping that work part ^^

You do will mapping the way you want it to look and adding the correct amount of detail, the single swoops are amazing and I can tell how much you've practiced and have been learning from past experiences in the past years.
Yup, I know. It was just something I picked up on when watching more of your work.
Yeah, I always draw my limits as I make the sketches... though sometimes I skip a step here and there just to get the thought out lol ( ^w"; ) I do the same in 3D modeling, but I can always tweak it latter on.
You also have a main layer that you work with that is more final than the start, I work with paper more so I often have to redraw the character when I do my work, my tablet skills are limited too. lol [I need to work with it more...]
