It's a mystery to me why people need to replace brake pads so often. I check mine regularly and I see that I lose 1-2 mm a year on average. Are you braking hard all the time?
@@airoilcool - haha, well, the bikes done 10k miles and this is the first time they’ve been changed. That includes a 4k mile tour with lots of luggage. I don’t think that’s too bad from a single pair of brake pads.
Do you think you would get a bigger bike in the future or prefer to stick with the 125 van van av got a full bike licence and still happy with my sazki marauder 125cc
I had a Suzuki GSF650 before the VanVan. I sold the bandit and got another VanVan after having one as a learner bike. It just got under my skin. It’s sooooooo slow but it’s not really the point. I just like it 😵💫 I guess I’m a bit weird
@moto-coupe same with me a had a kawasaki gpx750r 1989...but the sazki marauder 125 only does 55mph but a injoy every minute of it av had the bike from 2010 it was my first Lerner bike now a wouldn't part with it it might do 55 but definitely it's not about speed it's about injoying being out your ride around the uk was brilliant and injoyed whaching them look forward to seeing more ventures
Good to see the RV looking nice and clean- very tidy bike. Looks ready for another road trip adventure around NC500! 👍🏍🏍👍
If those pads are organic they will only last a few months, not good for long hard rides,
Sintered pads are much better and last much longer,
please sort your camera out cheers it looks like its been filmed on a Nokia 3310
When you've done the work yourself and clearing away the tools there's that certain sense of satisfaction.
The retest is the same with cars. As long as you retest within 7 days, you get it free, but only 1 retest as far as I am aware.
You pay for labour and experience. It's a fair price.

@@moto-coupe hm well I've clocked almost 13K kilometers since the fresh pair of brake pads were installed and they're not even 50% done :)

@@jamesguthrie7087 - for sure! That’s exactly it. All about the smiles, not the speed 😎
