Billy also seemed to be tremendously affected by Lilia's death. Before her sacrifice he was willing to play the villain for killing Jen and Lilia but after that he seemed to have been transformed into someone who wants to follow her heroic example. Tommy can apparently vaporize things and people with his vibration generation power, so he has a short-range attack as well as superspeed. Jennifer being on the road was no accident. Billy was drawing his coven to him even before the created the road or maybe it was fate or the goddess or something. In a way they totally pulled a Lost and Sharon, Alice, and Lilia are in an afterlife and reunited with their loved ones.
Jen's whole scene and Sasheer's acting actually felt like catharsis tbh! Yeah, I wish we would've gotten it wrapped up a bit neater, but overall GREAT acting
As far as Billy being responsible for the other witches deaths; we saw the Road attack Billy. He's not in control of it. He MADE it real, but once that magic was done, the Road was running on autopilot, much like Wanda's Hex. All the witches thought going to the Road was a death wish, but they all came (somewhat) willingly. I don't count that as being responsible for their passings.
I feel like Billy is the first person who Agatha let in, for literally centuries. she didn't want him to leave with Death thinking poorly of her bc she actually cares about Billy and what he thinks of her.

Rewatching the first trial hallucinations, you can see that doctor casting the binding spell the same way as the unbinding spell, so maybe Agatha sold them something they could use to get the effect, or Jen really did bind herself when that guy did the motions. He calls her an inconvenient woman, and while drowning her he's saying "Now you are nothing" probably over and over.
I loved Wandavision, but I was pretty “meh” at the idea of an Agatha show. Oh my god was I wrong. It’s amazing to see what can be produced with the right people and circumstances. I’ll watch your Venom video when I see the movie. It pains me that I haven’t watched it yet! I just can’t support the Sony trash in theaters. You guys rock!
As is right now Billy’s version of immortality comes with far too many consequences to not have stakes. He doesn’t have control over the process. There is a lot of confusion and loss of the life he had in it. It took him three years to put himself back together after the first time. I would call those stakes and I don’t think Billy would enter a fight thinking he’s fine with just dying. His powers might be annoying to death and upsetting her balance, but the way he incarnates is still hugely traumatic to him.
Considering the sorcerers at Kamartaj can push the spirit out of the body tho.. I think they can come up with some ways to create higher and more stakes for Billy along with the trauma 👀
@@Shadow-Shell which would be so crazy! I’d like to see how they could explore the workings behind that! Like how can death not control ghosts or spirits if she is literally the force of nature? Would be so cool if they made a prequel and explained it but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They should’ve stretched this to 20 episodes, I would’ve gave Agatha of westview a few more episodes with her trapped under Wanda’s spell, Agatha’s trial would’ve been extended and we would’ve actually got some true development between her and her mom as well with Death. Jen would’ve gotten a trial showing how and why Agatha bound her etc
So i absolutely read that scene in the morgue aa Agatha giving Jen a villain to blame so she could break herself free. It is too convenient. Agatha also is all about letting people beleive that she is the villain for evertthing. It is also works as a test to see if Billy's road will let you go when you "get your prize". (She then immediately tries to get her power and get out that way but since he wont do it she goes for getting him what he wants because maybe that ends the whole road.) You can also think of it as her giving *Billy* a villain for Jen so he has a focus to warp reality to unbind her. Also, look at Agatha's face when it is happening. She is so rooting for this to work for Jen. I thought it was obviosuly that and the magic for hire story was bullshit when I saw it. I seem to be in the minority.

Do you guys think Billy inadvertently killed Sharon because Agatha wasn’t taking the Road seriously? Because he was who discovered she died just when Agatha was downplaying how risky the trial had been. And then in the beginning of the next episode she tells Billy “I didn’t think you had it in you” and winks at him.
Maybe! If he did it, then probably only subconsciously since he looked genuinely guilty at the end when he realized the Witches Road was him the whole time
is his subconcious is setting his world up for survival like a Dr Strange-prophetic background process that can slot all the appropriate events together by reflex, as well as try to tuck in every fallen soldier with a vibe of fulfillment before their last moment
I think the scar inflicted was time with Nicolas. Death would have taken the child where they needed to be. Agatha having time with Nicolas leads to the death of countless witches so of course Death will accept bodies but Death (Rio) knows the longer she gives Agatha the more pain she's inflicting.
If Wandavision was depression and Agatha All Along was anger in the stages of grief like Whitney mentioned, could Visionquest be denial? They can even throw in Tommy. Bonus: if/when the Scarlet Witch movie happens that could be the bargaining stage and end with acceptance
definitely feels like Aggie could have been unstable from her youthful survival story, and may have been tempted by Death or Mephi to acquire the Darkhold to gain more power/life in exchange for a life, but like the soul stone acquisition process, she would have to deeply care and the unintended consequences could have manifested as serial k***er activities. Definitely also feels that all of this could have been part a greater plan to thwart or survive an apocalyptic encounter with knull, mephisto, or something darker and even more cosmically horrible. 😅

There was the theory on Twitter where Agatha felt so vulnerable after Billy spoke about Nicky in her mind that it triggered her siphoning powers when feeling so emotional making out with her ex wife lol also, maybe a last ditch effort to steal Rio's power
Didn't the Variety article with Jac say they did explore the idea "is Rio nicky's Father?" but didn't end up going with it cause that sequence pre nicky would be too long? I feel Brittany’s explanation of Jen’s journey from despising Agatha to falling in love with her and the coven is the same journey me and my friends went through as far as how we felt about the show. Started off very difficult to suspend my disbelief, but by the end, each character cemented their place in my heart. This show was pretty dope. Almost as dope as the Palaxy Crew😎
I’ve been seeing that’s a lot of the consensus around Twitter too! A lot of people were having difficulties jumping in but Agatha stuck the landing with the finale and kept people engaged until the end! A win in my book!
My theory on Agatha planting the seed her last ditch effort spell to tie her son Nicholas soul to Tommy as well. So a piece of her son lives on through tommy. She knew the only way for it to work is w Wanda or Billy's powers of spontaneous creation
The theme of this show is profound: how we deal with trauma and how not dealing with it passes it along. Billy acknowledges the harm he has done in response to his trauma. He honors those who he (inadvertently) took down. Unlike Wanda and Agatha, he tries to atone and to not lose hope and get caught in guilt and pain. Agatha is the only one who insists on passing on her trauma. Deep message.
Okay, you goofballs! THANKS!!!! Tommy, please find bring back: * The crew from #LostInSpace' * The crew from #TheLostSaucer * The crew from #JosieandthePussyCatsinOuterSpace and you'll be a hero!!!! (PAUSE) Okay, now you have *me* doing it!!!! LOL!!!!
I wonder if instead of vaporizing his school, maybe Tommy will vaporize Sword agents before they neutralize/capture him? That'd be more forgivable to help him be a favorite among general audiences I think, rather than killing other kids?
They kept teasing that Agatha had done something terrible that caused her son’s death, or at least had made some choice that sacrificed him. But she didn’t?
Yeah it’s probably because she liked the notoriety and power that came with that reputation. Plus maybe an atonement for her guilt with Nicky passing away and her not being able to do anything about it?
Maybe! I think it depends on the afterlife she believes in like with Wakanda & the Ancestral Plane, Jane Foster & Valhalla, Moon Knight & Field of Reeds, etc. they established multiple afterlives which hopefully they bring back and explain more!
I think everyone is quick to overlook the fact that Agatha murdered Alice. Like yeah ppl die and life can be short, but that was straight up murder. How is her coven not beating her up every single chance they get after what she pulled
Love the show, but there’s something that doesn’t make sense. In Episode 1, Agatha said that Rio couldn’t kill her, “It’s not allowed.” That’s why she contacted the Salem Seven. At first, I thought that meant that Death isn’t allowed to kill anyone. She can only collect the dead, but here she is trying to straight up kill Agatha. Everyone keeps making up reasons for why Agatha is killing witches, even kind witches trying to help her, but it’s all speculation. Nothing about the show explains why she’s basically hunting them like a serial killer. If it was true she was killing witches to buy more time with Death. Why keep it up for generations after Nicky was gone?
Grief is most likely the reason. Taking the power seems like a quick hit for Agatha, so to numb her grief she just takes and takes. Plus, the whole “not allowed” hasn’t been explicitly explained, but I choose to believe 2 thoughts: 1. Death and Agatha got married and had vows saying they can’t kill each other (only hurt) or 2. Death is just the taxi driver to the underworld and she can’t technically kill people, just wait or slightly influence their death.
I don't think that Nicky Scratch is the one Agatha is worried about confronting her in the afterlife. I bet that it is Mephisto. In the MCU, I believe that he is the one who gave Agatha the Darkhold.
Why is no one talking about how in multiverse of madness it was established that possessing the body of the dead is forbidden. Why didn't billy get affected by those demon spirits that attacked doctor strange?
Probably because Billy is the son of the scarlet witch and they can manipulate the rules of reality and Dr Strange is just another sorcerer? Maybe they’ll explore that in VisionQuest? 👀
20:47 I'd much rather Rio confirm that Alice removed the curse from distant cousins, that say that she died protecting Agatha: 1) Agatha is a genocidal maniac. So, protecting her is a net negative for a protection witch 2) Alice is the one witch who's reasons for the road are least tied to the type of witch she is: A) Jen and Agatha are their to get their (respectively Potions and Spirit) magic back B) Lillia is there to come to terms with her divinatorial relationship to death C) Billy was there to learn how to use his powers to save/find Tommy D) Alice was there to undo her curse. While that's technically "Protecting herself", it doesn't feel like protecting Agatha connects to her actual journey, in the same way that finding out she protected cousins from the curse would. Mind you, the show would need to reference a non-Lorna relative beforehand for it to have more meaning
Wait how did anyone come to the conclusion that Tommy is out there, I thought Billy didn't go through with it so Tommy's soul is still with him? Did I miss something?
@@hiccuphufflepuff176yep! He was carrying Tommy’s soul inside of him the entire time and with Agatha, ended up finding him a body thru that kid that passed away in the pool
@hiccuphufflepuff176 but it's not about prizes its about revelation he understood that he would be killing someone else and so he stopped. I think they made it pretty clear that he ended his hex because he realized that doing that would be wrong, also the road wasn't a actual thing that granted "wishes"
@Paintimenti and decided not to put his soul in that body because it would be wrong ... I swear people didn't watch the same show its made very clear he didn't do that
@@freddyfaerie3499 that’s not how I interpreted that scene. More so that Billy found the body with Agatha’s help, and put Tommy’s soul in there, had the internal crisis thinking he was killing the boy for his brother- but in reality he wasn’t. Hence Agatha’s line “sometimes boys just die”. But, to each their own! We’ll see how they continue from there in the future ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Whitney, question: I saw a short talking about the color roses in front of the houses in WandaVision. They said that since Dotty’s were yellow, she was Moonglow, alias of Arcanna Jones, and Dotty’s husband is Phillip Jones. Wanda’s roses: red and Agatha’s roses: purple. P.S. @MasterTainment, I've loved #Marvel all my life. I understand.
Whitney, idk if youre aware of this but you are just as beautiful as Kathryn Hahn. No disrespect Brett. I’m just talkin facts.
We stan Whitney! 🎉
😂she impregnated her with her "greenis!?" 🤣😂😅
The theme of this show is profound: how we deal with trauma and how not dealing with it passes it along. Billy acknowledges the harm he has done in response to his trauma. He honors those who he (inadvertently) took down. Unlike Wanda and Agatha, he tries to atone and to not lose hope and get caught in guilt and pain. Agatha is the only one who insists on passing on her trauma. Deep message.
Okay, you goofballs! THANKS!!!!
Tommy, please find bring back:
* The crew from #LostInSpace'
* The crew from #TheLostSaucer
* The crew from #JosieandthePussyCatsinOuterSpace
and you'll be a hero!!!!
(PAUSE)
Okay, now you have *me* doing it!!!! LOL!!!!
"Dressed as Agatha" TOO SOON WHITNEY ;A; lmao
Triger thoery corner!!!!!
MT "GREENUS" NOOOOO HAHAHAH
I think Mephisto stoled The Darkhold from Chthon then later gave it to Agatha
That would be an interesting avenue to explore!!
Great episode y’all! I hope we get that Agatha Rio prequel someday!! 😢
Same same! Maybe if we’re loud enough Marvel will do it lol
I wonder if instead of vaporizing his school, maybe Tommy will vaporize Sword agents before they neutralize/capture him? That'd be more forgivable to help him be a favorite among general audiences I think, rather than killing other kids?
Not even sure it was a real school. Seemed more like it was some facility where they were trying to turn him into a weapon.
I hope Tommy is off filming something great and not sick or anything! xxx
Engagement.
🎉🎉
They kept teasing that Agatha had done something terrible that caused her son’s death, or at least had made some choice that sacrificed him. But she didn’t?
Yeah it’s probably because she liked the notoriety and power that came with that reputation. Plus maybe an atonement for her guilt with Nicky passing away and her not being able to do anything about it?
After everything Agatha has done, would she even go to the same afterlife as her son?
Maybe! I think it depends on the afterlife she believes in like with Wakanda & the Ancestral Plane, Jane Foster & Valhalla, Moon Knight & Field of Reeds, etc. they established multiple afterlives which hopefully they bring back and explain more!
When I heard the made from scratch line I immediately thought about homunculi
🤮
If they went that route omg it’d feel SO MUCH more sad and tragic 😭😭
I think everyone is quick to overlook the fact that Agatha murdered Alice. Like yeah ppl die and life can be short, but that was straight up murder. How is her coven not beating her up every single chance they get after what she pulled
💜
💚
Interesting thought! She had to get the darkhold SOMEHOW!
I kinda get the impression that Rio and ghosts are only visible to magic users.
Same!
*I love MT!!!!* 🤗🥰
Same here!!
I love you too! :)
20:47 I'd much rather Rio confirm that Alice removed the curse from distant cousins, that say that she died protecting Agatha:
1) Agatha is a genocidal maniac. So, protecting her is a net negative for a protection witch
2) Alice is the one witch who's reasons for the road are least tied to the type of witch she is:
A) Jen and Agatha are their to get their (respectively Potions and Spirit) magic back
B) Lillia is there to come to terms with her divinatorial relationship to death
C) Billy was there to learn how to use his powers to save/find Tommy
D) Alice was there to undo her curse. While that's technically "Protecting herself", it doesn't feel like protecting Agatha connects to her actual journey, in the same way that finding out she protected cousins from the curse would. Mind you, the show would need to reference a non-Lorna relative beforehand for it to have more meaning
Algorithm palaxy food!
🎉🎉🎉
delicious
Wait how did anyone come to the conclusion that Tommy is out there, I thought Billy didn't go through with it so Tommy's soul is still with him? Did I miss something?
I think him disappearing from the road indicated that he had gone through with it. Tommy was in the world; Billy had gotten his prize.
Just thought about it. Jen still believes the witches Road is real
Jen’s TH-cam “tell-all” video about the road is gonna have a bunch of discourse in the comments 🤣🤣
I think Agatha made a deal with Mephisto and it included her first born child. Rio said she could delay the death but that was it.
So since Dotty’s were yellow… Any thoughts on this?
I’m calling it now Jen 🥬 possibly helps to build the midknight sons to eliminate Billy once she tells the team that he’s the Scarlet Witch’s son
Brett =adam d ❤
big adam d and rob p vibes
Will you guys be talking Dune Prophecy at all? Thanks Pals
So, wait, does that mean that Death has a penis?
