Regarding whether this Road is actually underground in Westview, there's a line by Agatha in the very first episode that I'm surprised hasn't been talked about - especially on this topic: Agatha to Rio: "These cases are always about the place. The specific small town. The history of it. The people in it. The secrets buried beneath it. That's where the answers lie." They may as well have put blinking lights and big yellow arrows on Agatha when she said it. I mean, "That's where the answers lie" couldn't be clearer. There's something about Westview we still don't know, and I don't think there's a chance in hell that dialogue isn't important.

I think nuance is often lost on the internet, but i think the way NR is handling this sounds promising. I'll decide for myself after watching what they put out. As for Roald Dahl and even Tolkein, i belive Eric said in another video that they are doing this series now because for MANY people watching HP is tied to the fall and winter. Some of us might be better handling the conversation around our straight/cis families if we can work through our own feelings and MAYBE NR can help someone do this. This common yearly ritual isnt really the case for LOTR and Dahls works. Also, they are dead, where as Jo is still actively contributing to the discourse around her on a daily basis.
I feel like Agatha can't control her powers and she killed her son by mistake (perhaps he used his powers on her randomly) by taking all of his power. I remember there being a clip of Agatha saying something along the lines of "the truth is much worse". I feel like killing your own child by mistake is so much worst than trading him for the darkhold. At the end I think Agatha will break the cycle and probably either finally learn to control her power while trying to steal Billy's powers (and stops) or she ends up killing/stopping herself from killing Billy. I can picture her in the middle of stealing his powers and trying to fight it, trying to stop but its hard and you see her struggling and eventually she just either stops or sadly kills herself to save Billy.

Even if Agatha can't control her power absorbing, it makes sense that she wouldn't be apologetic. She is old enough that even if she was apologetic for the first couple decades of having it, if no one ever believed her why would she bother to keep apologizing. When Alice died, she seemed apologetic to teen for a second, but as soon as he was accusatory she retreated into her shell. Everything about her feels like a person everyone makes up their mind about before meeting her, so she built this protective outward demeanor that fulfills their expectations. Everyone assumes the worst of her so why be anything else?
While yes Agatha’s mission has seemingly always been to gain more power…I don’t think she purposely took Alice’s. Right after it happens and she’s back on the road, she’s looking at her hands and the magic she absorbed and seems super conflicted and sad. I don’t think she’s been “unapologetic about it since then” because she TRIES to tell Billy that she didn’t mean to, but he’s immediately yelling at her that yes she did so she eventually snaps back to her “I don’t give a fuck” front.

Right after it happened she was clearly shocked and then very sad when she got back on the road by herself. She then made the decision to be the villain everyone saw her as- because it’s easier than fighting everyone’s opinions when they’ve already made up their minds. What if Agatha tied herself to death. So because she was born to absorb power she made a bond and as she drain powers , death gets her bodies. She is a witch but also a succubus. I feel like Vision Quest is going to connect spiritually with these other two series by being a dive into science fiction tropes, much like Wandavision was looking at sitcoms and Agatha was looking at Witchcraft/Horror
I'd only want Wanda to show up in a completely separate post credits scene. Because the reason you shouldn't put Wanda in, it's the same reason they ultimately removed Doctor Strange from Wandavision, it would pull focus away from the existing characters.
I've heard rumours that Agatha made up the false theory of The Witches Road, just to gather witches and draw their powers, and Rio collected her bodies. Nicholas helped her with the song, we know he had a good voice. Then comes Billy and creates it with hi hex powers. This feels very true.

My theory is that Vision will help Billy find Tommy in “Vision Quest” somehow and that will then link into Ms. Marvel & KB Hawkeye recruiting for the Young Avengers. Leading to Vision then mentoring all of them going forward trying to find new purpose.

I think Agatha made a deal with Death to gain power and chose to automatically steal the power from others. Then she went around killing witches and getting bodies for Rio as part of the deal win win for them. But something horrible happened where she accidentally killed her son and she went into hiding getting the dark hold so she could try to reverse her son's death. Because Rio mentions she hasnt been able to find Agatha because of the dark hold. She is complicated because she wants power but she also doesn't want to kill the people she loves anymore.
William has a picture of his parents in a beach, maybe that first trial was their vacation beach house? 🤔 That's how I believe it connects to him. He also says they need the boiler thing (dont remember the name of the kitchen tool) and he says his dad uses it all the time. That is not something everybody has in their house just lying around so that house could be theirs, maybe?

My theory for the road is that it's a pocket universe, that gets created the moment it's summoned in the place it is summoned. The trials get created out of the minds and powers of the ones walking the roads. Since Billy is the strongest, it is mostly influenced by him. I really don't think he created it, there are just to many things he couldn't have known. Also I'm pretty sure Rio would be able to look through it.

Hi everyone! First, sorry for my English. I’d like to bring something up. In the series Agatha All Along, everyone seems focused on the supporting characters rather than the main role, but I noticed something really important. In the first two episodes, the director gave us all the key information. So, I’d like you to focus on Agatha, the main character, and her relationship with Rio. I’ll go backward from Episode 7 to Episode 1 and share the points I’ve noticed. In Episode 7, Teen does a tarot reading for Agatha and finds out that she’s been telling the truth all time. In Episode 5, when she absorbs Alice’s power, she’s only stopped by the voice and name of her son, Nicholas Scratch. Toward the end, just before her fight with Teen, there’s a scene where we see her briefly using Alice’s power, but she doesn’t look happy about it. Plus, she tells Teen she can’t control this absorption. In Episode 4, in the recording studio, Agatha presses the speaker button so her coven can hear the conversation. Later, by the campfire, there’s a crucial scene where Rio explains that she had to fulfill her duty, even though it hurt her. In Episode 3, there’s the crib with the baby, which turns out to be Dark Hole. Now, Episodes 1 and 2-the most important points. Rio, with her black heart, says they have a deal, which is why she can’t kill Agatha. There’s also Teen’s blue glow as she comes down the stairs. Here’s my theory: Agatha made a deal with Rio, exchanging power for dead witches. But Agatha accidentally absorbed all her son’s power, and Rio later took him after he died. She wants revenge and to get him back, which is why she needs Teen (for his power), just like she once needed Wanda’s power. That’s why she’s doing everything to help him and why she needed the Darkhole.

But if you look at the clothing and then at the clothing Billy is wearing on the road it’s VERY similar to. Dirty hoodie and tattered jeans and both tje body and Bill are barefoot. Totally agree with you guys about the Harry Potter stuff, 100% support your take. Rowling is just one person (albeit, an important one) that was involved with the films, you can't take away the effort and passion of the hundreds, if not thousands, of others that put so much work into them just because she turned out to be the way she is. Save the outrage drama for Twitter or wherever you like to shout your opinions into the void, you can enjoy beloved movies even when one person who is now a bitter, hateful individual was involved.

I think the line "I want my prize" refers to the "deal" that Agatha and Rio have always had. Rio gets the bodies and Agatha gets their powers. Perhaps Rio, at the end, "stiffs"(little pun there!) her and takes the bodies but leaves Agatha with no powers.
I personally think that Agitha never went on the road before and that Billy pulled a Wanda and subconsciencly created this verson of road. I also think Agitha figured it out way earlier than it seems. I do think that the road might exist for real, but I don't think they are really there.
What is your take on all of the Wizard of Oz correlations in this show? I can totally see Agatha representing the wizard. Wanda representing the scarecrow. Billy representing Dorothy. And vision representing the tin man. Agatha always has a different agenda and is looking out for herself as the wizard did in Wizard of Oz. Billy is lost and looking for a home/family as Dorothy did. There has been a close relation between the colors of the powers and the colors of the infinity stones. Wanda’s red reality magic is the same color at the reality stone. Agatha’s power sucking magic is the same color at the power stone. Billy’s magic is blue possible relation to the space. Rio being the green witch could use green magic and death comes for us all is somewhat related to time. Might be a stretch and more of a cool connection rather than a real thought of the makers that is purposeful thing
Maybe Agatha will REPLACE rio as death,by absorbing her powers? Will let her continue on in some way, but she still has to “sacrifice herself” by being selfless and becoming a larger figure that has less personal stake in the game, like Loki’s sacrifice at the end of his show
It’s interesting that what the Road LOOKS LIKE is obviously highly influenced by things found in WILLIAM’S room, right down to the specific hues used for the leaves. It is NOT based so much on what that room looked like after BILLY had lived in it for three years. We also don’t find items from the other witches’ homes influencing its design- none of Agatha’s rabbits or Lilia’s crystal balls or chandeliers, or items from Jen’s shop. But what the Road IS, i.e. the Trials, go far beyond Billy’s knowledge of the Craft (identifying Alewife’s Revenge or crafting its antidote; he doesn’t know anything about Alice’s generational curse, hisTarot knowledge is extremely basic, etc. ) So I don’t agree that Billy created the Road as a Wanda-style hex.

It seems like Agatha and Rio fight in the final episode, but we already know Rio can’t kill Agatha, so they must be fighting over someone else’s body. I think either billy is destined to die and Agatha fights to keep his body and somehow keep him alive, the rest of the coven can resurrect at the end and Agatha fights to keep the rest of the coven alive, or Agatha gets to the end of the road and wants her son back but Rio says she’s not giving up the body so they fight for Nick’s body.
In response to whether Agatha can control her powers, I had originally believed she couldn't. However, after rewatching the episode with her fight with Rio, rio tells her to take her powers and Agatha says that's cute but you know that would kill me. This implies that she can control whether she does or doesn't take the powers of other witches in my eyes.
I think the Wanda movie should be in what appears to be another universe, following another Wanda fighting the X-Men. Then the reveal at the end is her 3 iconic words, "no more mutants". Which will then reveal that the MCU that we know is actually a universe similar to house of M. And that is what set up the rule that she can't have her children in that universe. It was her own powers working against her to keep her children and all other mutants out of the universe. But after her death at the end of multiverse of madness, her spell is broke and that's how the mutants are coming back to the MCU. However this makes mistress death mad, because she was the one holding on to all the bodies of the mutants Wanda erased. Which sets mistress death up against the new MCU in her campaign to regain the deaths of the mutants that Wanda caused. But that's just my opinion. They can do whatever they want.
Rewatching episode three and as they begin walking the road Billiam says the line ‘it’s exactly how I pictured it’ could this be another clue that Billy created this version of the witches road 🤔🤔

Right after it happens and she’s back on the road, she’s looking at her hands and the magic she absorbed and seems super conflicted and sad. I don’t think she’s been “unapologetic about it since then” because she TRIES to tell Billy that she didn’t mean to, but he’s immediately yelling at her that yes she did so she eventually snaps back to her “I don’t give a fuck” front.

What if Agatha tied herself to death. So because she was born to absorb power she made a bond and as she drain powers , death gets her bodies. She is a witch but also a succubus. In Wanda Vision she said she takes power from the underserving. In Agatha all Along she told Jen that she left her alone because she was doing the work the "real work"! Just a thought.

I feel like Vision Quest is going to connect spiritually with these other two series by being a dive into science fiction tropes, much like Wandavision was looking at sitcoms and Agatha was looking at Witchcraft/Horror

I'd only want Wanda to show up in a completely separate post credits scene. Because the reason you shouldn't put Wanda in, it's the same reason they ultimately removed Doctor Strange from Wandavision, it would pull focus away from the existing characters.

The beach house had a very convenient sous vide, that Billy pulled out of thin air/some random cupboard. Agatha has been wondering about this road from the first minute it opened and Billy ran down the stairs and onto the road.

Understood. It does feel really weird when a lot of the themes, in the stories, seem to have a disconnect from the author; at least in terms of being all encompassing of a theme. As someone who writes, myself, stories deep to an author almost always tell you a lot about the author in them.

So based on the lie, Billy conjured his own witches Road. We saw him makea hex and that explains why they are underground westview And Agatha knows it, so she’s using him

I think Agatha made a deal with Death to gain power and chose to automatically steal the power from others. Then she went around killing witches and getting bodies for Rio as part of the deal win win for them. But something horrible happened where she accidentally killed her son and she went into hiding getting the dark hold so she could try to reverse her son's death. Because Rio mentions she hasnt been able to find Agatha because of the dark hold. She is complicated because she wants power but she also doesn't want to kill the people she loves anymore.

William has a picture of his parents in a beach, maybe that first trial was their vacation beach house? 🤔 That's how I believe it connects to him. He also says they need the boiler thing (dont remember the name of the kitchen tool) and he says his dad uses it all the time. That is not something everybody has in their house just lying around so that house could be theirs, maybe?

I can see Vision Quest being a Children's Crusade story on battle world looking for Wanda as they believe they need her power to recreate the multiverse. Billy will begrudgingly be looking for her as he didn't sound like he cared about her and he'll learn to love and or appreciate her at the end when meeting her
My theory for the road is that it's a pocket universe, that gets created the moment it's summoned in the place it is summoned. The trials get created out of the minds and powers of the ones walking the roads. Since Billy is the strongest, it is mostly influenced by him. I really don't think he created it, there are just to many things he couldn't have known. Also I'm pretty sure Rio would be able to look through it.

Hi everyone! First, sorry for my English. I’d like to bring something up. In the series Agatha All Along, everyone seems focused on the supporting characters rather than the main role, but I noticed something really important. In the first two episodes, the director gave us all the key information. So, I’d like you to focus on Agatha, the main character, and her relationship with Rio. I’ll go backward from Episode 7 to Episode 1 and share the points I’ve noticed.
In Episode 7, Teen does a tarot reading for Agatha and finds out that she’s been telling the truth all time. In Episode 5, when she absorbs Alice’s power, she’s only stopped by the voice and name of her son, Nicholas Scratch. Toward the end, just before her fight with Teen, there’s a scene where we see her briefly using Alice’s power, but she doesn’t look happy about it. Plus, she tells Teen she can’t control this absorption.
In Episode 4, in the recording studio, Agatha presses the speaker button so her coven can hear the conversation. Later, by the campfire, there’s a crucial scene where Rio explains that she had to fulfill her duty, even though it hurt her. In Episode 3, there’s the crib with the baby, which turns out to be Dark Hole.
Now, Episodes 1 and 2-the most important points. Rio, with her black heart, says they have a deal, which is why she can’t kill Agatha. There’s also Teen’s blue glow as she comes down the stairs. Here’s my theory: Agatha made a deal with Rio, exchanging power for dead witches. But Agatha accidentally absorbed all her son’s power, and Rio later took him after he died. She wants revenge and to get him back, which is why she needs Teen (for his power), just like she once needed Wanda’s power. That’s why she’s doing everything to help him and why she needed the Darkhole.
Anybody notice that the body in ep 1, we never see a face and are just meant to assume W. Maximoff is Wanda. But if you look at the clothing and then at the clothing Billy is wearing on the road it’s VERY similar to. Dirty hoodie and tattered jeans and both tje body and Bill are barefoot. Not sure the exact correlation, but they do seem eerily similar builds and clothing types. Plus Billy is just short for William
Totally agree with you guys about the Harry Potter stuff, 100% support your take. Rowling is just one person (albeit, an important one) that was involved with the films, you can't take away the effort and passion of the hundreds, if not thousands, of others that put so much work into them just because she turned out to be the way she is. Save the outrage drama for Twitter or wherever you like to shout your opinions into the void, you can enjoy beloved movies even when one person who is now a bitter, hateful individual was involved.

I think the line "I want my prize" refers to the "deal" that Agatha and Rio have always had. Rio gets the bodies and Agatha gets their powers. Perhaps Rio, at the end, "stiffs"(little pun there!) her and takes the bodies but leaves Agatha with no powers.

Ive been watching since Wandavision, every video. And I just felt it was a fanfare broadcast that had a diverse cast.
I personally think that Agitha never went on the road before and that Billy pulled a Wanda and subconsciencly created this verson of road. I also think Agitha figured it out way earlier than it seems. I do think that the road might exist for real, but I don't think they are really there.
What is your take on all of the Wizard of Oz correlations in this show?
I can totally see Agatha representing the wizard. Wanda representing the scarecrow. Billy representing Dorothy. And vision representing the tin man.
Agatha always has a different agenda and is looking out for herself as the wizard did in Wizard of Oz.
Billy is lost and looking for a home/family as Dorothy did. And if vision goes to find Agatha to help him find a soul, I could see that representing the tin man who is looking for a heart.

There has been a close relation between the colors of the powers and the colors of the infinity stones. Wanda’s red reality magic is the same color at the reality stone. Agatha’s power sucking magic is the same color at the power stone. Billy’s magic is blue possible relation to the space. Rio being the green witch could use green magic and death comes for us all is somewhat related to time. Might be a stretch and more of a cool connection rather than a real thought of the makers that is purposeful thing

This format works a lot. Imagine a show where Agatha is taking care of Franklin. My only thing is his power set is the same as Wickens almost.
Maybe Agatha will REPLACE rio as death,by absorbing her powers? Will let her continue on in some way, but she still has to “sacrifice herself” by being selfless and becoming a larger figure that has less personal stake in the game, like Loki’s sacrifice at the end of his show
It’s interesting that what the Road LOOKS LIKE is obviously highly influenced by things found in WILLIAM’S room, right down to the specific hues used for the leaves. It is NOT based so much on what that room looked like after BILLY had lived in it for three years. We also don’t find items from the other witches’ homes influencing its design- none of Agatha’s rabbits or Lilia’s crystal balls or chandeliers, or items from Jen’s shop.
But what the Road IS, i.e. the Trials, go far beyond Billy’s knowledge of the Craft (identifying Alewife’s Revenge or crafting its antidote; he doesn’t know anything about Alice’s generational curse, hisTarot knowledge is extremely basic, etc. ) So I don’t agree that Billy created the Road as a Wanda-style hex.

It seems like Agatha and Rio fight in the final episode, but we already know Rio can’t kill Agatha, so they must be fighting over someone else’s body. I think either billy is destined to die and Agatha fights to keep his body and somehow keep him alive, the rest of the coven can resurrect at the end and Agatha fights to keep the rest of the coven alive, or Agatha gets to the end of the road and wants her son back but Rio says she’s not giving up the body so they fight for Nick’s body.
Billy had darkhold fingers in episode one. It was brushed over as "ink". Has anyone ever addressed this?

In response to whether Agatha can control her powers, I had originally believed she couldn't. However, after rewatching the episode with her fight with Rio, rio tells her to take her powers and Agatha says that's cute but you know that would kill me. This implies that she can control whether she does or doesn't take the powers of other witches in my eyes.
I think Death isn’t allowed to kill ANYONE .. she can maybe tempt people to kill for her so she can collect souls

I think the Wanda movie should be in what appears to be another universe, following another Wanda fighting the X-Men. Then the reveal at the end is her 3 iconic words, "no more mutants". Which will then reveal that the MCU that we know is actually a universe similar to house of M. And that is what set up the rule that she can't have her children in that universe. It was her own powers working against her to keep her children and all other mutants out of the universe. But after her death at the end of multiverse of madness, her spell is broke and that's how the mutants are coming back to the MCU. However this makes mistress death mad, because she was the one holding on to all the bodies of the mutants Wanda erased. Which sets mistress death up against the new MCU in her campaign to regain the deaths of the mutants that Wanda caused. But that's just my opinion. They can do whatever they want.
