I get to spoke to a data centre reit manager and who in turn work with the hyperscalers directly. they have no intention to take over managing data centres completely. it is not their main business model.
Maybe 5 to 10 yrs ago invest in Reit is good. Buying now is like behind the curve. The money has already been made. Now have to look for companies that's ahead of the curve
