I'm in central Europe and wow those water leaks would be a death sentence in terms of mould here. Thanks for reporting, this is very interesting for someone that never went through a hurricane. (I've been through a Taifun in Japan, which seems similar although less severe, I think it stays over water only, too).
Here in Houston we had Harvey that did what Ian did and moved slowly over us and drowned the city in water. Over 10 feet in some areas, I think water is worse than wind in a hurricane. Hurricanes suck but glad y’all are safe, prayers to everyone effected by the hurricane

I live in the UK but did live in SC as a kid and experienced tornados. I was over on vacation in Orlando when Hurricane Irma hit - that was an experience but wow I was impressed how well everyone there dealt with it - the prep before the storm arrived and the quick clean up after. Any disaster here in the UK on the same scale would be terrible and they can’t cope with 2 inches of snow here. My heart goes out to you guys! I live more centralized and was barely affected, but seeing all of the devastation is heartbreaking.
I can’t believe it’s been 18 years since Charlie.
They didn't lose anything.......
It’s the people that HAVE that my heart goes out to. 🙏🏻
I love when family channels are legit and not like "UH WE ALWAYS PERFECT" you guys gained a new subscriber!
My name is Ian and I can’t tell you how many people have given me grief for the storm like I had control over it. Glad you guys are ok.
LMFAOOOOO that sucks 😭😭😭 im sorry
I was in an 5 day blackout not too long ago. It was DEVASTATING to me, my mom and my big brother. Stay safe!
@Kailyn Amano duh

I was in an 5 day blackout not too long ago. It was DEVASTATING to me, my mom and my big brother. Stay safe!

my dad was in Florida for work and got stuck there from the hurricane. June 2024, we went to Florida to visit same family for my birthday, and 2 years later, this hurricane still had people rebuilding, cleaning debris, repairing, etc. Praying for the family’s still recovering from this horrific storm. ❤
Good to hear that you, Trev and Chels, are okay along with dear sweet Bella, dear Cooper, and dear Koda 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😻💖🐶🐶💖💖

I was at Marco island for vacation during hurricane Ian and it was TERIBBLE… I couldn’t even leave my hotel room. Thank the lord (maybe idk who died) that everyone is alive. ❤
Oh wao that sounds so disturbing. Not the relaxation you wish for a vacation. But a story you will tell your grandkids
Glad you and Chels is safe. My dad lives in Fort Myers and wasn't fortunate to move to far away from the landing he's okay, but this hurricane had me on edge for sure as he only moved to Florida last year so this was really his first real storm.
I'm glad y'all are okay. We didn't see Koda as much but I hope he did okay. Love you guys
Thankfully you guys are okay! I hope the contractors and insurance companies won't be too hard to deal with. Good luck, and great vlog as usual!
I also get this urge to make some muffins or brownies when a bad storm is here in upstate ny. Usually in the form of snow but same feeling applies.
Glad you guys are safe and so sorry after having your house worked on this happened.
I'm glad you guys are safe!
I'm in central Europe and wow those water leaks would be a death sentence in terms of mould here. Thanks for reporting, this is very interesting for someone that never went through a hurricane. (I've been through a Taifun in Japan, which seems similar although less severe, I think it stays over water only, too).
My most fav vid from trev and chels
Here in Houston we had Harvey that did what Ian did and moved slowly over us and drowned the city in water. Over 10 feet in some areas, I think water is worse than wind in a hurricane. Hurricanes suck but glad y’all are safe, prayers to everyone effected by the hurricane
When he said back in the day when we had to wait for the rain water, that’s the way we lived in the country mountains. We were so poor and didn’t know it. You can appreciate life and get through anything. It made us stronge. Thank you God for blessing us every single day.
In California where I live, we had a huge thunderstorm, it broke signs and rain was at light speeds, flooding and turning into hail that lasted for 20 minutes. Now I can imagine the horrors of the people in Florida, respect to them. I wish luck that they can find a way to dissolve this monstrous hurricane!
What a beautiful couple and beautiful home! I'm not a big vlog watcher but I always come back to this one.
Glad you guys are good dude!
I WAS IN DISNEY WHEN THIS HIT! They did a VERY good job of keeping their parks clean. Oml we woke up the next morning and it looked like a hurricane didn’t even hit!
I LOVE DISNEY ❤
That sounds lovely glad everyone there was and still is probably ok.
The Disney gremlins get whipped extra heavy after a storm hits. The Mouse shall not go unfed
You call it a sea wall we here in Louisiana call it a Bulkhead glad you all made it through this horrible storm . 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I got something for you 🎁

I was in Florida prepared and evacuated I'm glad that your okay I also live in Florida seeing all this is devastating I thought that was my last day to be honest I thought my family wouldn't survive
My 3rd grade teacher lived in Florida for most of her life and she had told us all of the storms and hurricanes that might appear, and whenever she had a really REALLY bad storm, she told us to leave. She told us to get somewhere safe. But y’all are really brave because you probably didn’t want to abandon your home. I’m happy y’all made it! That was one of the worst storms I’ve heard of!
Glad y’all clearly are ok would be so grateful you have another day nobody got harm ❤
I wasn’t through this storm but this storm was the worst in the Atlantic ocean people that went through the storms are a trooper I love everyone of this country I hope everyone stayed safe

My cousins live in the Tampa area and luckily they were able to leave in time but sadly their home was destroyed. I was truly nervous for them and you guys. Glad you guys were okay tho.
U guys r very lucky, I'm sure u have seen now what all damage Ian did to ft. Myers and south Carolina, I live in Ohio and I always watch the hurricanes down south and I think this one may be the worst I have seen, glad ur ok but I'm with on dreading dealing with insurance and contractors etc. Goodluck to u both and glad ur ok!!! Take care guys!!!!
No way you’re in Ohio are there goofy things there
glad y’all are okay, can’t believe how bad it really was.
We even managed to get to Miami the following weekend but the planned trip to the Keys was a no go obviously. Great video.
