Une superbe Violetta et un Alfredo à la hauteur de sa beauté et de sa voix. Mais hélas, encore une fois, une mise en scène et des costumes anachroniques. Quel compositeur d'opéra contemporain (il n'y en a plus guère) aurait l'idée de composer un opéra se déroulant en 2020 et le transporterait dans un décor et avec des costumes du Moyen-Âge????
quels frissons ! Ce suspens du début, faut pas louper le rythme à l'ouverture... de la bouteille ! C'est là aussi qu'on voit l'artiste et sa french touch !!! Gnark Gnark Gnark !!

When did Opera get so cool???
1:43 is a wtf moment for me but otherwise stellar performance.
In 1:00 is evident how his velum lowers together with covering. That shouldn't happen, that turns the voice nasal, exactly what can be listened here. But he has sense of artistry, despite being non organic in how he builds the music (is impossible to feel the Libiamo, what the music really means).
I knew there was something off with his voice!
Somehow it sounds like they were wearing mics.
Well, there were certainly microphones somewhere. It doesn't mean there were speakers inside the theatre. But there are limits to opera singer vocal projection, and one of them is that they can't make the sound waves come through your computer later on without the assistance of microphones.
How do you listen to opera at home without mics? 🙈🙈🙈🙈
@@Yves_Ka Wearing the individual mics are huge different to installing the mics at the hall for a recording purpose. This performance is more like broadway musical with operatic theme if they wear individual mics with volume and voice color adjustment possibility for each person.
@@grr8048 There is no evidence that the singers were wearing mics. You would have been able to see them - just like you do in Broadway musicals - they are worked into the wigs. Traviata is not an operatic "theme" - it is an opera - period!. A modern staging wont EVER change that

she's a really bad actress. her acting is the opposite of what's actually happening in that scene. amazing voice, but she can't act to save her life, which is a pity since opera involves singing and acting.
