I bought a brand new GSP axle assembly for Toyota matrix xrs and brand new out of the box I removed the axle and cut both bands to inspect for grease and it is empty...no grease inner and outer...dry...I greased them good and re banded the boots and the axles are great..they are selling them dry so you will have to replace prematurely...that's bad business practices.
Thanks I appreciate your comment I just bought a pair of GSP cv axles for my honda and I will open them up re grease and band them up.
@@leod3963 yes that's a great idea.. when you cut the bands and open the boots anything is possible both inner and outer joints may be dry or both may have inadequate grease or one joint may be dry and the other semi greased..lol.. anything is possible..the axles are well made in my experience with them..the grease or lack thereof is the problem..I'm not sure what is going on in there factory? do they do this so they will need to be replaced prematurely as to generate more sales? is this being done by disgruntled workers who are tired of long hours and poor working conditions and poor wages? don't know... anyway hope all goes well with your car.

Just bought a new GSP driveshaft from Rockauto. Open box the boot is cracked and grease is leaking. Also the driveshaft is dirty, looks like a used driveshaft. Totally different quality that u mention and show in your video. Now I have make a complaint and replacement to Rockauto. Bloody wasting time! So disappointed!
Today I bought new boot to replace your broken boot. After I removed your broken boot, what a surprise! There’s NO Grease in side, and I can see rust! I wonder why the outer shaft is hard to turn or move. Great quality GSP! 🖕🏻I wish can post the photo in here to show your great work.
