What do you suggest to offset the loss of the factory recovery / tow points? I realize that's a non issue if you are using an after market frame mount bumper, but doing this with the factory bumper in place sacrifices those hooks.
If you don't plan on running an aftermarket bumper, you can stack the factory two hooks on the skid once it's installed.
What happened to reinstalling the tow links/rings back into the front of the truck?
We chose not to reinstall the factory tow hooks since our front bumper has built-in recovery points.
Can you reach in and hold the nut for the oil filter access door with the skid installed?
You can! There's plenty of room to access both doors.
Not a fan of that the nuts should be secured to the inside of the skid. I foresee lots of lost nuts
