I'm from Brazil, thank God I have all the luxuries that money can provide, a good house, good cars and a bank account full of money. But watching your videos I feel peace in these places, even in precarious conditions I want to live in this place, at least for a while, to feel the simple energy of this place, you know?

I wonder what percentage of these young children manage to escape slum life, guessing fairly small. A shame to not have a future, a better future.

The slum areas in the Philippines can be fixed, if they wanted to.....people, and the goverment, must, both consider, doing it!!! Other countries were worse before, but now they are better than us!!! The government must implement its rules harder and tougher.....and people must follow those rules thoroughly!!!!
It's obvious u have never been to a 3rd world country....rules..??? And if someone doesn't obey the rules bc of life every day problems..feeding the family, trying to make $3 fir the lights, etc..do u fine them.....they have no money...do u lock them up, taking away a family member needed to survive daily fights to live.....
Yea , try visiting sometime.
But to note, the Philippines have come a long ways in the last 20 yrs

I visited Quezon. This area is relatively nice compared to other areas. The worse places are where people live in the garbage dumps, the cemeteries or in cardboard shacks. Still, the Philippines is BEAUTIFUL !!

There is NO good reason why that place could not be cleaned up, project by project, day by day, while other sections are being bulldozed to make way for safe, solid, secure, sub-economic housing, with all necessary, human habitation, amenities.
