I wish that I was a multi-billionaire - I'd give millions to the locals to buy cement, breeze blocks and steel, and build up their infrastructure: houses and roads. They would take pride in building it up themselves under the guidance of their own structural engineers, their own plumbers and electricians.
The people just seem so nice and friendly. I'm glad that you make these videos, although it is very sad to watch.

Having lived in the Philippines back in the day at Clark Air Base (Angeles City area). I have learnt to count my blessings. Right now there are about 10 million Filipinos who live overseas. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who are just happy to have a job and send money back to the Philippines. Now for us Americans and other foreigners, having a retirement income of at least $1,000 American dollars per month, you can live good to great in Philippines. Many Americans cry and complain to much. Most Filipinos are still able to enjoy, be happy and do their best with very little. As mostly about 80 percent in the Philippines are just making it to poverty. I really appreciate the Philippine spirit. From US American Air Force Security Police Military Veteran. Who have plans to retire in the Philippines. GOD speed Philippines.

Wow! Brings back memories when I was in the Philippines in 1996 & 1997 doing mission work throughout the Metro Manila area. The several cities kept expanding until they all merged together. Poverty was bad back then. But from what I see on these videos it looks worse in some areas. But with that said The Filipino people were very friendly to me while I was there.

God cares about the poor and lonely and the distraught and abused. All I can feel is God truly bless them in this world and the kingdom to come, everyone of these good souls.

Thank you for sharing these videos with us - your TH-cam audience. I wonder if it would be possible to see inside some of these dwellings? In one of these fascinating videos I noticed a woman with dustpan and broom doing what she could to keep her small area neat and tidy. Seeing that, and the many, many smiling faces of children everywhere you went somehow gladdened my heart. Amid the filth and squalor the humanity of these people shone through brightly. I wish I could do something to help, but I am just an old man in a small room somewhere, watching, and sometimes weeping...

The harsh reality of poverty in the Philippines. I had to force myself to watch this video, watching it turns my stomach inside out, people living in the most deplorable conditions like this. especially the young kids, and the elderly walking in vector ( rodents, cock roaches, flies, mosquitoes) disease-carrying infested environment. What is the government doing to help these poor people? Hoping the new president Marcos, the administration can help them. This is a big problem in the country, sewage, garbage trash, all over the place. This is their way of survival recycling trash, and garbage, what a way to live. There are times that we take things for granted, watching this video and seeing people in poverty struggle like these people is an opener for people including myself.🙏
