I do not have a favourite Earthbound/Neutralized character but TMNT1 #21 Shredder has an Outwit which causes the target to become Earthbound/Neutralized. Savage.

Characters that can do that are very cool... The Hulkmariner could do that as well. Sloth (Justlice League Trinity War) affects characters within 2 squares this way. I was surprised that Green Kryptonite didn't have that effect on Kryptonians (the Kryptonite Man from the Brave and the Bold set does, though). It's a game effect I'd like to see appear in upcoming sets... There could be a whole set of power canceling objects that only affect certain character or family of characters (through keywords). But object-related weaknesses aren't much part of modern-day comics, though, as wood or the color yellow was to Green Lantern decades ago. Anyway, the idea is interesting. Thanks for your comment!

Was just typing this and decided to check the comments first. I absolutely love Shredder! Wingweaver's also a nice E/N character. It's a dedicated defender & healer until it gets hit, and then it really goes on the offensive.

i recently found EB/N really useful when i was playing engineer on an authority team...she was down on her dial so i used her pick a power to pick EB/N to get her out of there by carrying her away to go heal her up...it was probably one of the more rare instances of the use but just made me realize that power does have potential to be useful...

Exactly! That strategy can be very useful... It's not something that's going to happen in every game, of course, but it's good to know Thanks for sharing.

I'm so glad I discovered your channel when I did because you've taught me a lot about the game. I'm also very happy that you had a video on this ability because I just got a Phoenixbuster Iron Man and had no clue what that power was. Keep up the helpful videos and I hope you do one with the 2017 rules soon.

Glad you're enjoying the content! I plan to cover the 2017 rules as soon as they become available. I took a chance and created a video on the new Probability Control in advance: th-cam.com/video/KgNZR9OptKw/w-d-xo.html. Let's hope the announced wording sticks ;o). Thanks for watching and commenting.

It's the plan. But it might take a while before I go back to that one. I quickly covered some of the key changes in this video: th-cam.com/video/WByc-8KP2Cc/w-d-xo.html

I may not have a favorite Earthbound/Neutralized character, but I do like my Hulkmariner who gives Earthbound/Neutralized.

Would u do a beginning of turn/end of turn to help people out. I wish they made rules clear and easy to understand but it takes careful reading and understand of the english terminology to really play. You can do some crazy stuff like sidestep then outwit then poison then leadership roll because its all within the beginning of turn step, u get to choose the order it "resolves"

Sorry for the late reply... Actually, I remember answering, but the comment isn't here. So here it is again. Thanks for your suggestion. It is definitely on the list of videos to create.

I hate it when characters get Earthbound/Neutralised and Regeneration on their last click. Regen has no minimum healng so if you already have one action token and Eb/N took away your Indomitable it can be risky to attempt Regeneration as if you don't heal you could KO yourself from the pushing damage :') Except Mary Marvel of course!
I like it when Giant figures get it near the end of their dial as it means it's harder for the opponent to shoot them as they can hide behind things instead of towering over them.

Interesting indeed... Never thought about hiding giants and colossi that way. Thanks for sharing.
