To my non-British friends, marrow is a fully grown zucchini. Most zucchini that people eat is picked before it grows to full size. I once grew a zucchini (marrow) to the size of a newborn baby! They don’t have much flavour but they have add a nice texture and absorb whatever flavour they’re paired with. Hope this was helpful 😊🥒

In America marrow is actually marrow from a bone.

Thank you for edifying marrow. Much appreciated. So wish the recipes offered in this series could be made available in printed format. I would happily pay for the text if “Real Royalty Recipes” produced the recipes in book form.

There are basic chutney recipes in the Ball canning book. I can't understand how she thinks using a copper pan is not reactive . A stainless pan is used for vinager based, items . And bla apples are not used. A tart fruit is used. A hot pepper in some varieties . Chutney was the first recipe I learned to can and its fun and easy.

@@denisecampbell6736 Denise, Thank you for your reply. I respect your right to express yourself. I suggest you get used to my right to express mine, as well. I especially noticed your tactic capitalizing the “P in people”. That takes time. I too have vision problems. I had to find my eyes to read your rather long 🥗. I absolutely agree with your original comment. I also know normal people are exhausted by the overused “!”. You can engage without being frustrated or aggressive. Grammar is a lost art thanks to People like you. Have a lovely day. 🙏

It is heavy cream and milk from cows in Cornwall. I’m going to use organic heavy whipping cream and organic milk. Go for richness.. the best you can get..

That paella looks more like a thick sauce rather than a rice dish. 😐 I mean, it's not even yellow, it's red all around! Maybe it's the cooking gods punishment for that god-forsaken pronunciation of _paella_ and _chorizo._

Needed to cook longer. Rice should create a nice crispy crust on the bottom.

Nothing abouy that "Paella" was right :P she might as well call it "payella" as she only made a "rice with stuff in it".

No Spanish would ever put chorizo in a paella. I wish that our traditional recipes would get the same respect as the French cuisine classics.
