He was kinda cooler in soulstorm/dark crusade, he was calmer and more professional But then again: "The ways of unarmed combat says: do not be unarmed" that one line redeemed him
"Even when broken, a sword may still cut" "The way of unarmed combat say: do not be unarmed" Ha, love how they quoted the stuff from the Fire Warrior novel.
Based on his dialogue he's a Survivor of the Damocles Gulf Crusade, meaning he's got a chip on his shoulder. several, fuck he probably has a whole can of pringles on his shoulder. now I'm hungry, thanks Aptonoth.
@@epsiloncore9772 and based on whichever side you picked during dark crusade Shas o Kais may have a grudge against you for what you did to his men and his overall mission on Kronos.
This voicework is pretty well done, I'm imprssed. Makes good references to warhammer40k lore, like Farsight, Aun'va, Damocles Crusade, etc I actually use him in the Last Stand (he's my favourite hero) but Im not english and my country re-did the dubbing. It's kinda ok how they did it, but not as good as this one :c
Well based on his Voice lines he's a survivor of the Damocles Crusade. sooo that's why he seems more aggressive than the other Commanders. Something tells me he wouldn't allow even bother calling for a surrender if he was in SHas O'Kais place in Dark Crusade
The guy who did the music for Dawn of War II, Doyle W. Donehoo, made an album called "The Wages of Treason" - one of the tracks, called "Modern Warfare", sounds to me the kind of thing he could have composed for the Tau if they were featured in a third expansion; a mixture of grimdark and sci-fi / high-techiness about it. Play that track on top of this, and you'll hear what I mean.
OOOH! Oh, oooh. I totally misunderstood that one sentence there. It's not: "Orks, fierce as crude, yet even less civilized." It's: "Orks, fierce as KROOT, yet ..." Damn, I really really love the incredible voicework done in the series, imo it added tremendously in fleshing out the character of the universe!
@manacycler I wouldn't go that far, but the CSM codex is far from perfect. It needs a lot of refining. Like we have to put up with the "frenzied" rule for dreadnoughts. That was originally added because we get unique weapons. But now SM's have no less than 3 different kinds of dreadnought kits, all plastic, with dozens of weapons. We have to settle for the metal kit which is smaller, poorly designed and as expensive as a land raider. (Besides forge world ones. They're good.)
I think XV22 battlesuit is a more effective Suit for a tau commander. It's more mobile versatile and has the same can have the amount of fire power an XV8 crisis suit have.
Can you also write down the Voice Actors under Description fields of the videos? Just curious of the people who give me the chills with their voice. :3 That would be sweet if you could do that.
@carnivoriousleaf Your concerns are duly noted, brother, yet as expected you do not see the greater possibilities that stem from this. Only the Master of Change may comprehend the nature of his plans, and the part that you and your "Prince" play is greater than you may like to think...
@IFM2002 Exactly. Here is an example of how bad a writer Ward is. I was once a proud Ultramarines player. Not a bandwagon player who hopped on when they got their starter kit. I was experienced with Tau already and I chose the Ultramarines when starting Space Marines because I loved what the chapter stood for and its general background and characters, and bore the usual mockery Ultramarines players get with a chuckle. After Ward's 5th Ed codex? I now play Chaos Space Marines.
Great Voice Video alfabusa James Cameron who did AVATAR back in 2009 should have looked at this, this Tau Shas'O shares the same ideals as the Na'Vi. He's speaking for them For EWA, For The Greater Good!
@Gerojsk Sorry but no. The Tau codex from 2006 wrote the Damocles Crusade as a shining victory of the Tau. But Matt Ward, the ultimate space marine fanboy failtastic writer, decided to fuck around with the Canon, as he does with EVERY codex he writes, and make it so the Space Marines were winning, then got bored and fucked off for no real reason whatsoever. I have both codexes and play both armies. Tau was first, therefore the original canon ending of the Damocles Gulf crusade.
@smudgethekat As a scion of the Prince, I would warn my wizened brother not to sap too much of his strength toying with such soulless backwater aliens. We can't be having the Mad Father of Change not fit, oh how the Prince does love the way he incites Khorne.
