That is really cool! I had no idea one could install such detailed devices in an older model vehicle. I actually own a 2012 Matrix so it should work on mine, ya? It has a nice fit with no ugly gaps and looks like a factory unit! Awesome! Thank you for sharing.
I have just installed rear view backup camera on my dmx7705 s, it only works when i press camera button, i gave it +power from reverse (there was a special cable in my toyota for camera) but whenni put in reverse nothing happens
You must run the reverse trigger wire to the Kenwood, and connect to the reverse wire they provide. If it is not working, make sure the setting is ON in the menu of the radio, if still not working test your wiring is correct by using a DMM (digital multi meter)
Worst experience with a CompuStar Pro T11 Security System installation with lockdown security and at times I have problems with the False theft alarm, issues with Wiring done by lockdown security, (they did that without T-Harness), When I open the Trunk using Remote Starter getting False Alarm. Jeff (Owner) not agreeing for a Unit replacement rather he mentioned the problem with the "Code" (Not sure what code he is referring to). I've raised a complaint with BBB. Complaint Reference #1384998. (BBB - Better Business Bureau) Very bad experience (Worst Customer experience) with the Front Desk Person, Very rude and NOT professional at all. Regarding my appointment: I got my appointment booked for Nov 14 '2018 at 15:00Hrs, but the Tech who attended the car at 16:00Hrs, Waisted an hour for nothing In addition, there is a Review written by "Ferenczy Kadosa" in this Google Review, for NOT allowing him to the "Install Bay", and the response from the Owner (Jeff Bates) is ABSOLUTELY WRONG / NOT TRUE based on my experience with Lockdown Security. (Owner cum Technician) --> Jeff Bates, He invited me to the "Install Bay" of Lockdown Security Office on Nov 14th at around 16:15Hrs EST and Jeff asked me to explain the issues and He tried to reproduce the issues which I explained to Him what I have with my security alarm system installed in my Car by Lockdown Security. If required, I can provide all sort of documented evidence for my Purchase with Lockdown Security and the Complaint which I've raised with BBB (Better Business Bureau - Canada)

Where did you tap the rear camera interruption into?
Mines only work when I put in reverse how did you give the camera constant power
@@tonyp2135 there is a wire going from reverse to the camera. just hook that wire to switched power instead
@@WideOpenThrottleC6 Which color wire did you hook up to the reverse wire?
@@AnilKunjachan I didnt. I wanted to be able use it at any time. Not just when in reverse
