Enjoy! It's a great little quad! I highly suggest trying different size batteries . I got 650s for mine and it flys great but a bit heavy, I really want to put some lighter batts on to try to make it more nimble.

Slightly larger props, 3s vs 1s, better / stronger cage and camera mount. Most people i know with the pico replace the cage with the 20 cage. Just a more powerful platform to carry the weight of the hd system.
@@quadsmack I did. It is my first FPV. To me it seems like it might be heavy?! The cage for the VTX doesn't sit flush with the mounting board, but it seems secure enough. I've crashed it a few times in my back yard. I really need to go to a field to test it out!
these are on sale for 75 bucks without the vtx... I thought about buying one and turning it into a analogue 2s basher. it seemed like you could fit the battery into the cage on top.

I Used the Walksnail Avatar PRO HD V2 VTX Kit which accepts 6V-25.2V (2-6s) and connected it using the 9v output that is on the O3 connector on the pavo board. Thanks for watching!
I have not tweaked too much in BF yet.. I applied my OSD config, adjusted modes to fit my boxer. I was in a hurry to fly so I've been on that setup for a few days. May try tweaking this week, if I find any useful changes I'll add here! Thanks for watching!

im not sure what you mean by reversed. This is the way I position all of my walksnail VTX. If you are referring to compared to an O3, i do not know, i dont fly DJI, sorry.
@@quadsmack The Walksnail Moonlight kit was installed, the FC was connected via usb to the computer, the moment I plugged in the battery the connection was lost. I can no longer connect to the FC, and the FC is getting extremely hot. then I noticed Power consumption 12V@1.4A, 8V@2.2A on Moonlight and 9V BEC*: 9V 2A@8V supply on F4 2-3S 20A AIO FC V1. But I couldn't find Power consumption of Walksnail Avatar PRO HD anywhere.

@@alexzanatta6572 those should also work, but you will have to solder instead of swapping the plug. Same wiring as in this vid but to solder pads instead of a plug.

Great video! I found that using a diamond grit bit works well and a rotary brass brush remove any burs and blend the rework pretty well. Good work!

What's the advantage of going with the 20 over the pico?

That would be a good project. Be patient swapping the wires in the connector, they can be fiddly. And have fun!

I find it to be much easier to just use the cage from the regular pavo pico which supports the Avatar.
Definitely an option, but I like the threaded inserts and stronger dual-screw camera mount in the 20 cage.

It should as long as long as you are using one of the vtx with full power range. The 1s board would need a change on the power line

unfortunately I had a bad experience today with a pavo20 and Walksnail Moonlight kit installation. unfortunately the flying controller is broken.
