- When was the last time you wrote a letter? My talk will relay the inputs and outcomes of a handwritten letter. The impact it can have is profound, can last decades and shape lives for generations to come. Ashley Davis was born the middle son to a preacher and a teacher, and spent his first years of life in the fields of Indiana, the coal mines of West Virginia, and the mountains of Virginia, finally settling in North Carolina by the time he was five. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in English in 1991, he began a career in media and advertising, focusing intently on communication and relationships, vital disciplines passed down to him from his parents. Since leaving a corporate career in 2014, Ashley has continued to work in media and advertising, as well as real estate. He recently published his first work of non-fiction titled, A Life Through Letters. Devoted to community and charity, Ashley volunteers extensively. He finds great joy in his role as a father and lives in North Carolina with his wife and two boys. I've handwritten letters to family & friends around the world for decades, often enhancing them with my dry humor, sometimes by just playing with words. And my art. I made my own card last Christmas, #32. I drew famous people on some, and often they responded. All you have shared coincides with my feelings.

Lord, that was beautiful! I'm going back to writing letters and having non-virtual albums of pictures.
That is what I have been doing for a long time now and I absolutely love writing letters. Getting photos printed and 🎁 presenting them in beautiful leather-bound photo albums make wonderful gifts!

I enjoy writing and have written many letters to family and friends.
It is funny, many people still have my letters and remind that I wrote them.
My letters usually contain drawings and cartoons, etc. A handwritten letter carries a great deal of weight.
