Your playing ALWAYS amazes me!!! I am a gospel/classical pianist, and I would give my life to handle jazz the way that you do....PLEASE contine posting!!!!!!!
i cannot describe how much i love your playing, style and your way interpreting things in a unique way. ive been following and learning aloooot from you and your videos. thank you for your beautiful work. all the best.
You're hands down one of the top jazz piano players I've seen on TH-cam! In addition to your sophisticated style, the quality of the sound is excellent, and your iPhone 4's video quality is quite good as well. I've been playing piano since I was a kid; your videos always inspire me to get back into it and explore more jazz.
Well done! Having been introduced to the melody of this song, I scrounged around my fake book in hopes of finding the title in the table of contents. I have the transcriptions! this is the next song I will learn to play after I learn "How Deep is the Ocean."
very sweet! looks and sounds great, great post, ***thank you*** ! I especially like what I would call the 'restraint' aspect of your coolness here. one of my very very favorites of many great posts !!! .... unrelated, but have you heard natalie merchant sing 'one fine day' ?
@thehosting1 I did push it pretty far out from the original. I very much like doing that. It can make it a bit more of a challenge for the listener to follow the song. Even when I'm playing against the changes, I'm still playing the song in my head :-)
love everything second of it. Nicely done. One drawback maybe: there's no clear progression all through out the impro... I didn't feel like l knew where you were leading me. What do you think?
Fascinating... how that piece of cobweb is hanging above the piano, dancing to this amazing interpretation! Kidding. I also just realized you play on a S&S, although you used to play on a Kawai for a while... I guess the pianist's touch took over the actual sound of the piano. ;) (Kawai ftw)

So much to learn here. I could spend a month studying it. In fact, I think I will. Beautiful as always.
Always such a joy to listen to your music
sounds great as always, your piano sounds like it was voiced from last time i heard it. keep up the great playing
Glorious . . .as ever. Thanks for the enormous pleasure from listening to your superb artistry.

@wadecottingham Thanks. I haven't heard the tune.
Simply Superb.....is the CD available yet...? if so how can I get one.
Love the the Keith Jarrett style
@nezkeys79 It's the 'Cry Me a River' jazz standard, not the 'Cry Me a River' Justin Timberlake song (two very different melodies haha)
@xsebbe01 Thanks!
Superb
Thanks!
@7notemode How long do you need for playing this so good?
Very Beautiful!
Hey man, Thanks!
@mystorykim looks like an apex 205 :)
fantastic Steinway sound. Which model is it ?
So wonderful! What is your microphone setup to do the recording. Really great sound but I don't recognize the mics.
Ha! I always wanted to listen to your rendition of this standard. As usual, 5 stars.
By the way, isn't the iPhone 4 just marvelous?

Great stuff, and I found the melody to be quite obvious. Sometimes even too obvious, but then I like my stuff modal.
sorry, no tutorial. I'll put on my list.
Let hear it for your left hand - tastie licks!
just died and went to heaven!
this isn't justin timberlake!
