Palmer really didn't " choke " in 1966. He just was too aggressive, and too bold. Palmer was deeply loved by millions and millions around the world. Most popular golfer ever !!! ⛳⛳⛳

It's tough to think of the greatest golf collapses of all time. Lefty had some but through that period I still loved to watch his fearless style of play. Same with John Daly. Having fallen apart more than a few times on the golf course, I admire the pros and the way they usually handle that intense pressure.

Mike Reid collapsed on 18 in the PGA in 1989, at Kemper Lakes.
He was leading by two and triple bogied the 72nd hole !! What a choker !!!! ⛳

Everyone talks about 2006 and Phil but completely forget that Montgomerie had the better chance of winning and completely choked on the 18th. Phil had the third best chance to be honest...
Something just runs me the wrong way about Phil. I think his first master win changed the person he was.
Crazy how one wrong swing could cost you the no. 1 spot. felt bad watching these.
