    Italians have been refining the designs of knives for thousands of years and these models are pinnacle.

    Ciao! I'm interested on the multitool, the fork is a good Idea and actually convenient to have with me when I go hiking or simply traveling. I really would like to see more models, with wood saw and so on. Anyways it is a good start.
    Surely MKM is one of the best knife makers. Gorgeous design and impeccable fit and finish. Keep going with the good work.
    The Clap is fantastic but a bit small for my uses, I need a larger version!.

    MKM sure knows how to make a beautiful knife! Love that sheath too! Very interested in the Flame when it comes out.

    The dagger with the red lava carbon fiber looks so awesome and so does the Jens Anso designed Root. I really like everything I've seen MKM put out. They have great materials, have great fit n finish, and the designs are awesome. It's cool how they've taken 4 of the top Italian knife companies and have them working together.

  • @Phlfwlr

    I bought the Malga 6 for three reasons. First, it has a fork lol it’s silly I know, but I’ve honestly looked for multitools with forks and they either don’t exist, or the fork protrudes out the side and is awkward. The second is the blade steel. M390 is really cool to see in this kind of knife and third. The green Micarta. I’m on a green fix lately!

    i carry a victorinox tinker everywhere I go as a secondary (or third or fourth) knife. At work I carry my tinker, a folding disposable razor blade knife and a fixed blade. I like expensive folding knives too when I’m not at work and having a victorinox has saved me from breaking the tips off my good knives. or if i’ve crawled up into a corner of an attic full of blow in insulation and suddenly i need to pull a romax staple out or to unscrew something I don’t have to turn back. it has saved my ass so many times... but it is cheap and difficult to customize and outdated. i think the fork on there is stupid, i wouldn’t buy it. but I like the idea of making a better swiss army knife. get the wave feature and a locking mechanism and a pocket clip and make it to where I can take it apart and put new scales on it or do the spyderco blade swap everyone is doing without needing and endmill

    Your pricing is insane. To charge £100 for something that is essentially Victorinox Spartan (which when on deal costs about £13) with fork and bit better blade steel is pure lunacy.

    • @knowyourhistory
      @knowyourhistory 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's pretty normal for something with m390

    • @boudeca
      @boudeca 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@knowyourhistory @KnowYourHistory really? I know it's better steel and surely it will perform better than 420 but will it perform almost 10 times more? And mind you it's only the main blade that is m390, other tools are just standard stainless. I just dont think many people will want to pay such a premium price..

    • @knowyourhistory
      @knowyourhistory 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@boudeca No it won't perform 10 times more. I'm just saying compared to other knives with m390 the pricing is comparable. It depends if you want these "super" steels.

      The bad thing is is none of M390 that comes from Italy on there folders holds an edge near as long as some harder m390 i have quite a few there hardening the same as a fixed blade seems to me....excellent quality knife absolutely i think they can do there m390 a whole lot better....I carry a lion steel m390 M4 fixed blade in my rotation love the knife it tends to be about the best that I have from ITALY companies....in M390...that steel only....K390 would be very nice...And a good old 440CH will getter done all day have plenty of old bucks that are steel cutting it up today... Spyder co on folders has been 2 to 3 times the edge retention on anything I have got from italy...faders only now...and i have plenty from all of there companies....I think they all have a heat treating party together...l🤣🤣😍

    • @johnbarnesNnaptown
      @johnbarnesNnaptown 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@preppinainteasy9965 you can't beat Buck when it comes to heat treating. I carry most of my knives for defensive purposes so I'm thinking of trying out serrated. A rip is worse than a cut. I don't know how much blade steel matters when it comes to serrated edges. I know dr. Lecter prefers the Spyderco Harpy serrated and high carbon steel for its ease in sharpening.

      With M390 on the blade, it’s clearly not meant to be primarily for eating. This is meant to be a camp tool so you have one multi tool in your pocket to do a lot of different things. Cut food...then eat food if it even needs to be cut. No problem.
