Please be respectful in the comments. I just want to point out the fact the people who are upset about Halo are people who don't make Halo content, engage with the community or have the games best interest in mind. People are grifting to capitalize on an opportunity to bully for personal benefit rather than actually make Halo better.
I’m gonna start this comment saying I’m a conservative. I don’t agree with DEI hiring and yadayadayada, but just because she’s black and/or gay doesn’t mean she can’t work in a game development environment. Now if it gets in the way of her job then it’s an issue, like the guy that said he had an issue with developing guns in Halo. But she hasn’t posted anything controversial or anything like that so she doesn’t deserve any hate.
@@corbrobroski3I will never miss Bonnie Ross, but it’s truly disgusting that people reacted this way. I know we tend to have an older fanbase than most, but it shocks me to see this much hatred when we haven’t even seen them make a damn game yet.
@@Nara.Shikamaru agreed, I was never a fan of Bonnie Ross. And I’m on the younger side as I was born a year before Halo: CE came out, but my love for halo and its lore has never wavered. I wanna see it succeed. I don’t understand the hate because as you said, we haven’t even seen the rebranded studio make a game yet. We’ve only had one ViDoc, and the person they are mad about doesn’t even have any creative input on the game. It’s irrational hate.
Yeah he deleted one of my comments, I called him out by saying “how is this a vocal minority if they’re capable of forcing huge corporations into ending their DEI programmes”
I saw this reaction coming like 2 years ago. I knew everyone would eventually pick up on the trend of what the woke ideology does to entertainment/business and I knew some people would try to see woke everywhere just as woke people try to see micro aggressions in everything. I also knew they would knit pick the worst offenders that any rational person would disregard.
This is exactly it. Years of woke dumpster-fire games have traumatized a significant portion of gamers, who now see any deviation from "straight white" as an instantaneous red flag. It's true that injecting an unpopular ideology into a franchise unrelated to that ideology is a bad idea. It's not true that a person who believes in that ideology will necessarily inject it into their work.
it's not about her looks STOP ignoring the fact we don't want activist working on halo to ad their politics into the game. we play video games to escape reality and what we see everyday on the news so why do we gotta keep seeing it in video games?
@@Iriza_Sanguine_Argentithere’s gay pride backdrops every second week. The animosity from the community didn't come out of nowhere, sure.. some gamers are entitled, but we literally watched Halo go through one of the most turbulent arcs in gaming history. As a fan since I was a kid back in 2001, I really just want the franchise to resurge once again in popularity..

A shooter that has gas operated bullpup configuration rifles using the NATO 7.62 standard brass too, i mean the shape is odd though like the ar but it's iconic but the weapon action is basically described as real rifles today. this is literally written on the guns in halo, at least in halo reach, also ammunition counters are real for firearms, there are examples for pistols and rifles, no compass though lol, also we did get a very good looking battle rifle in infinite which would have been removed or eliminated if there was some sort of agenda against realistic looking guns.
I really don’t see the big deal. It’s not like it’s new, how many times have I seen people confessing either them or their parents got them halo or doom instead of cod because the colorful graphics and aliens enemies are tamer than actual killing of humans ? The context isn’t the same. Not liking guns irl doesn’t prevent you from knowing it’s only a game, and that you’re using it to fight crazy zealots aliens, not humans. I have a problem with developers who are so anti gun and said they could never work on a game that "glorifies guns"...yet is working on a First person SHOOTER. and constantly complains about their hatred of guns. That gives me almost zero hope for the future of Halo.
I have to agree that that guy specifically is a giant red flag. I'd hope that the other devs put him in his place if he tries to inject his personal politics into his work. Its weird, he said Halo is removed far enough from real world weaponry but I've always felt Halo's human firearms always felt extremely grounded and modern, so modern that people make actual real working guns modeled after the guns in the game.
The video I saw people linking to on reddit as having "good points about Halo's future" had the creator literally say "I would respect the studio if they fired everyone and only hired men" and " they should say that only straight white men should work on Halo". The anti-woke folk can go kick rocks 🙄. Thanks for trying to bring reason to the Halo content sphere good sir
343 already has a terrible history, dei included, and Microsoft on top of that. Any fans left are concerned their favorite IP will be hurt again by the same problems. People see this as evidence. Don't argue that in bad faith.
Yeah I'm not sure what this guy is getting confused about. Seems liberal and attempting to white knight. It's not like the halo community hasn't gotten fucked 3 games in a row.. (infinite being the best at least) but the fact they presented huge changes when in reality they're only talking about graphics. They knew what they were doing. If you don't actually miss the greatness of halo and old competitive halo then say that. If you're a casual gamer who likes sci fi and political discussion in campaign that's fine. The og halo community doesn't gaf
Yeah, I'm treating it like star wars from now on. Until a new owner has the IP halo as it stands is dead to me, only the current and older games(excluding 5) will be played from now on I guess. Fuck it
I’m not for the hate, but 343i has made choices that have rightfully sparked concern among the Halo community. The focus on adding LGBTQ flags, armor coatings and other “woke” content seems like a distraction from what fans really care about: a great Halo game. It’s not about who you are or who you support, most players just want to enjoy the game without having political or social issues forced into the experience. Changing the studio’s name doesn’t change the fact that these priorities may still be misaligned with the core of what Halo should be. Fans deserve a game, not a platform for agendas.
i think lgbtq+ people would argue that pride banners and coatings that represent them actually make the game more enjoyable for them. how is it any different to them adding purple nameplates that people who like purple enjoy, but not people who wanted green? are you just mad because you have shit politics that want to see the erasure of queer people? if so, good. keep crying. or do you have an actual argument?

There’s a lot to say about this but to keep it short, 1. Woke is overused and abused by grifters. 2. There is a broad issue within most industry’s (gaming included), that issue is caused by pandering, lecturing, gaslighting, and much much more. It is a real issue, caused by real people who literally have their own stereotypes because of how they look. 3. The result is bad products, and consumers losing trust in companies to make what the market wants. 4. Being woke doesn’t alone result in a bad product, TLOU on HBO and BG3 prove that. It’s ultimately either a neutral on a good game or it’s a negative on a bad game. Lastly, there is very real criticism to be had here but it takes a lot of honesty and willingness to break things down past “game is woke”

It’s clear as day to see that DEI stuff is failing massively, he also underplays the significance of the anti woke/DEI movement, he calls it a vocal minority, how in the world could a vocal minority boycott huge companies and force them into removing DEI programmes.
People who complain about woke who actually mean it dont care that the person is white or black or boy or girl or something else. We complain about the worldview these people have. I mean really? Someone who is traumatized by guns is a lead on halo? Thats what we complain about when we say something is woke. A black protagonist is a good thing but these days it often comes with a lecture on being white or how black people have it so much harder than everyone else. Same with female protagonists. Its a great thing but often its packaged with a lecture on how she can do everything a man can and better. Theyre often accompanied by a man whose sole purpose is to look inferior to the woman. When a woman is in charge of a creative ip with a male protagonist theyre often emasculated and weaker than they should be. That said my favorite story of all time was written by a woman and the men in it are allowed to be men. We complain about the worldview not that theyre a woman or black or gay. We just don't like lectures and identity politics in our time for relaxation and destressing. And a dev being gay black or a girl is a symptom of a bigger problem that we're actually worried about because most of the time they don't belong there. Dei has been a huge disservice for minorities and women. The ones that deserve to be there are overshadowed by the ones that don't. In this case in particularly It makes me uneasy that someone like that is in charge of staff because she probably isn't gonna hire a gun loving conservative to work in her team. A team to make a game about guns. It's not that shes black or a woman. Its that the people that look like that and virtue signal with flags on Twitter like her typically have an incompatible worldview with what the fans want. Someone whose gonna make chief remove his helmet to reveal he was a black woman all along is going to have flags in the bio and they're probably a woman.
The problem is that there is a double standard. They say they're inclusive to all but if you disagree with them, you are spreading hate and are racist/sexist. There is nothing wrong with hiring women or gay people but when they hire DEI activists that want to push their identity politics over the story and characters, that is a problem. People are very skeptical and hesitant nowadays when they see the warning signs because there has been so many examples of other games being ruined by wokeness.
@@Zilchnessthey weren't ruined by wokeness, they based themselves entirely upon said wokeness discarding any effort in writing and care for design and customer interests. Borderlands 2 was a really great game despite all the "body positive, queer, race mixing, anticapitalist" etc because it's not pushed down your throat, it has a good story with properly written characters that never boast their diversity, they barely makes you notice it because to them it's normal and definitely it's not what defines their personality. Borderlands 3 kinda falls flat in that because you notice more the rest of the woke stuff without the rest of quality writing.
I don't see the problem, as long as they can make a good game, why should i care about people saying "but some people in halo studios are dei" whats wrong with that?
Because they haven't made a good game (The Bungie era being the standard) for the whole length of their existence, and that's likely for the very reasons that AnyPants has pointed out. They put DEI above masculine preferences in gaming, and that results in bad games.
@@jessep3542Let's be clear here, Halo 4, 5 and Infinite aren't bad because of identity politics or anything "woke", they're nowhere near as good because of game mechanics, level design, lack of vision and other things that actually make up the game itself.

I do think that games are getting demasculinized in some aspects and I don't like it. To be honest I'm partially scared by what this new studio has in mind with inclusive stuff like Infinte pride flags and armor coatings, I think this has nothing to do with Halo and it makes no sense either but saying that Chief looks like a female is crazy too, there's literally no reason to say this, he looks beefy and chunky because Mark V looks like that plus he has different poses and camera angles. Honestly it feels like this woke narrative popped up overnight. A lot of the things they point to have been out in the open for a while and I just don't get it. I feel like it must have been a slow new week in the drama/ reaction community or something. ..
If the Halo games were good, no one would care. Unfortunately, since 343i took over the franchise, the games have been extremely divisive. That’s simply a fact. Make a good game with a good story, and people won’t complain. When ideology is injected into a game, it always fails.
But it's not like "woke ideology" is the reason people don't like Halo4, 5 and Infinite though I suppose it could be the culprit as to why the workplace culture isn't thriving in the first place, therefore not allowing the team to put their best foot forward.
When was there explicitly woke ideology in infinite's campaign? And if there was, were these a significant part of the complaints that people had with the game?
@@Free-4554 Read it again till you see it. He's referring to other games and some of those games failed miserably like concord lol and much more, is it that hard to read. He didn't mention anything about Halo Infinite being woke. He's talking about two separate things Halo and woke games
@@deadly_actual Yes the comment is talking about two separate things, but not only are these two topics being discussed in conjunction with each other, the comment is for a video discussing the connection between the two topics. Clearly there is some attempt being made at asserting a relationship between wokeness and Halo. While the comment could also be using other woke games as an example, that example would only be appropriate in this context if it can be related to the other primary topic of Halo.
Lol I guess people failed to scroll down on her linkedin page and looked into detail. She was involved with Halo Wars 2. Is she part of the reason why Halo went back to its classic art style? What was she directly involved in? Cause whatever she did helped made Halo Wars 2 such a fun game
Kev, the problem is that fans have seen people with ideologies like Ms. Boone literally destroy beloved franchises. Halo is hanging on by a thread at this point and the last thing we need is raging leftist communist feminist garbage to be the last nail in the halo coffin. The fanbase is more than entitled to be nervous about people like Melissa at the head of the franchise. However, the outright mean and hateful comments are out of line
@@Major_Zephyrwell none yet? But people who fly the rainbow flag and lean left tend not to be able to set aside their political and social views from the media they create. It bleeds into and taints the product. Hence why Star Wars/Disney is now shit for example.
@@nickallen2288 I'm willing to give her the benefit of doubt, but you're typically correct. Still, it's a bad idea to immediately assume she'll inject her ideology into the series. Especially since she's the Chief of Staff and not the Creative Director.
With some of the recent games, I can understand that some people would be concerned about DEI. With games like Concord and KTJL, I am not surprised. I do not think it justify hate, but being concerned and talking about is not a problem.
The problem with DEI is exactly the same as the problem with affirmative action. If the most qualified person for the position is a purple elephant I don’t care higher, the purple elephant my problem with DEI is you in practice run into situations where the purple elephant is excluded because the company has too many purple elephants hired at any given moment so the green banana who is less qualified now taken the position from an overly qualified purple elephant. And even if the green banana is fully qualified, possibly even the best candidate for the job, the mentality of DEI creates doubt in the person’s abilities. It’s almost the soft racism of low expectations. What happened to Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of a country where people were not judged based on the color of their skin, but on the content of their character?
The Halo community is in a tough spot where we have been shot in every part of the body with how 343i have presented Halo 4, Halo 5, and Infinite. It is hard for players to look past it and trust that Halo Studios to prove themselves that they are able to reach the expectations. The rebrand was needed, the new leadership was needed. Just bc the new chief of staff is black n woke doesn't mean they suck at their job. People haven't even seen a scratch of what the new studio has made. People can only start judging when Halo Studios has released the next piece of content that is 100% made within their Studio, under the new leadership. Good take on this Kev 👍🏻
@@JohnMSD You are so misinformed. a halo producer publicly admitted they would not work on a game with modern guns and they they’ve had trouble working on halo due to this. Would you want someone with such a mental block working on a first person military shooter? Absolutely Ridiculous
Bro you already know the games they're gonna produce are gonna be dogwater. Remember Bonnie Ross and Kiki Wolfkill? Then you look at the Bungie team and it is all normal dudes. Halo is dead and people like this killed it.
Probably because Microsoft literally uses DEI hiring, they have an entire section on their website about it, I think it’s safe to assume that there is a high probability that she is a DEI hire.
Honestly I don’t Pierre Hintz will allow anyone to instill there political agendas, I think that would undermine what he’s trying to do at Halo Studios. But with that being said she has not made any controversial tweets or said anything to upset or offend anyone. I do think however it’s important to have discussions like the one you’re bringing up in this video. I honestly want them to make the Halo franchise groundbreaking again, and I think getting rid of the battle pass system and micro transactions are a good place to start. Not that I mind the battle pass system in Halo infinite and the seasonal passes in Halo MCC, however the whole battle pass thing started with Fortnite and it honestly should have stayed there.
I didn’t think that at all when I first watched it. I don’t know anything about her and it really doesn’t matter. If the game comes out and it’s bad people won’t play it, pretty simple.
much respect for speaking on this. hate is profitable and it’s easy to get duped into this pipeline. but i wish ppl would realize that all this division just hurts all of us. and the only ones profiting are the rich
You are full of crap if you try to deny the fact that people are fed up with all the FORCED inclusivity bullcrap in gaming as a whole (and media). Halo fans are more than fed up with 343 making trash aftrer trash ever since they took over. You cannot blame them for seeing a black woman with purple hair and rainbow flags on her X profile and not think "oh, God, here we go again". Don't be foolish and try to pretend these things are not affecting gaming.
people are justifiably anxious about how Halo will be handled because the rainbow does seem to derail games and the fact this lady is heading all this causes bother among gamers And the Chief they showed is definitely looking fat so this does already have people thinking the worst. Justifiably and I don't see why this could be defended quite honestly. He looks bloated for goodness sake
Well, I can say the only content halo infinite consistently got on time was any of the various virtue signalling skins/emblems. Politics and all this nonsense just shouldn’t be in video games, period. People are concerned because of pattern recognition, we’ve seen countless studios corrupted by activists who can’t leave their activism at home. I’m not saying this woman is bad at her job, I don’t know. But to ignore people’s concerns when this sort of thing has been negatively affecting media for years is just showing you to be ignorant. To clarify, I’ll judge the game when it releases and of course don’t agree with any hate on any of these people.
When I saw cenematic the first thing I noticed was the female shape in Master Chief's suit, it's not paranoia. I played all the franchise, and that new design is indeed less very effeminated.
no offense but why did you dribble the last sentence when you were reading her profile ? people worry about the future of gaming because of DEI not just in halo. itt ruined many games and franchises one after the other. it would be nice if politics would stay out of gaming. DEI is one of thee reasons why halo flopped if not the main reason since 343 took over.
To be fair wouldnt people on the other side of the aisle be upset if there was an American flag and someone who was super patriotic or conservative? Its a double standard. Im neutral for a good reason. My only concern is what is going to happen to the lore/story and that would remain the same no matter who is in charge of the game. That is ALWAYS my concern. I dont care how someone looks as long as they make a good game and leave their personal baggage out of it.
People dont get upset about an american flag, patriotism and conservatism. You'll have one weirdo and it will be picked up by content creators as the speaker for an entire group of people. Meanwhile this is a tide of people all jumping on the bandwagon trying to be and make people mad and angry by pointing to scapegoats.
Idc who are or what you are but do not project your beliefs or try to appeal to a "modern audience". Just make a great game that the fans of HALO can enjoy(with splitscreen), that's all i care about. As far as im aware the studio is just a 343 rebrand so my hopes aren't too high anyway....
New name, same crap. None of us should be excited about this "new" studio. Video games are not the place to push in agenda. it's the place to escape the nonsense!!!
If youre going to address this at least research this stuff. As long as devs continue to be acuvists. The game will suck. Hire passionate developers and not activists. People are concerned because of their past positions and activist history. Some of these developers past tweets if you want to talk racist. Do your research before flapping you gums
Wow mega shill talk... massive copium hypocrisy. You made this for clicks or for your own cognitive dissonance. You completely misunderstand everything.
Getting real tired of you assuming the halo fan base is doing it because “they see someone who looks different from them”. No, we did research into these people’s backgrounds and came to conclusions based on research. 343 and Halo studios are same thing. Boone cam from 343 and has the same role. 343 was woke and bad and halo studios is looking like it is going to be bad and woke.
@@JeffZ1028 Yeah. Read her bio because Kevin denied that she works in DEI but he deliberately, and conveniently, glossed over the part where it says she does! He is still under the impression that she won't push her DEI and woke activism where it LITERALLY SAYS SHE DOES.

💚 I don't know Kev. I can understand why people are concerned. We haven't had a vidoc for a hot minute. People are going to look up who the new team is. Especially when we don't know what's in development. Some of the limited information we have on Boone appears to display her politics. Thats going to turn people off when we already get enough of that in our daily lives and many turn to gaming to get away from it. There are many examples of franchises who insert politics into their art and it doesn't pay off. The developers are people and they have a right to their opinions. A futuristic military sifi shooter doesn't have to explore contemporary politics. In a time where it's increasingly difficult to separate the artist from the art, I can understand why folks are concerned. I'll save my judgements for Halo Studios first game.
Research teams aren't necessary. They don't listen to us or Kevin or any other Y.T. If they do its years later. That's been the trend for the last 14 years anyways. If they did the job right they would fix all the bugs/problems quickly. How is it exactly that they are glue at keeping the devs on the right track? Idk But I see other games that respond at the speed of light and don't shut down a community forums doing much better then what's been produced for too long now with the previous Halos. I want a positive change where we are heard and issues are addressed much faster. I'm sure the rest of us feel this way too
Burh..Wokeness makes things worst. Not sure if this is DEI, HOWEVER... The question is, are these individuals the right people for a game like HALO? Everyone who wants halo "back" wants the OLD halo. The masculine idea of taking on an alien army while having Sgt Johnson saying badass things with a fucking cigar in his mouth. We want the Old gun play. IF she does that, then BAM we are in business! but... is halo going to be a victim of the Woke EA like gaming experience? I think you are wrong. They showed us stupid graphics. no cares about graphics, it'll be good no matter what. They gave us nothing to go on other then the individuals that are leading Halo Studios. and they are ALL ACTIVISTS..... that's why people are mad. Activist have no place in gaming. Because it takes away from the magic of the game and becomes to political. We all want to support individuals but halo isnt the place to do it.
She is definitely a DEI, but that doesn't automatically means she's unqualified, she's been a research manager for Microsoft before going to Halo Studios, also I'm pretty sure the only reason they just showed the graphics is because they don't have much of a product ready, they should of held off on the release of Halo studios rebrand at least until they had some type of stable beta for the public to test in their remake. People can also be both an activist and manager of a studio, my only issue is if the writers would all be activists and too politically involved as well, likely influencing the writing as well, hopefully Pierre will make sure its clean
What kind of "woke" stuff will they add to Halo, if that happens? Curious of what you think. Saying they "ALL" are activists is pretty irrational though, pretty sure we don't know that's true.

Until watching this video, I had no idea who the woke person was and actually assumed it was the blonde haired lady myself; if one even existed. That said I think there's a meme out there where a company that's a developer of a game went woke and all of a sudden it was 100% female for that office. Well that's not proof of anything, I think people assumed that that was some sort of woke agenda and they might be applying that to 343. Is 343 woke or not? I don't know and I personally don't give a damn. Make a good Halo game, and that's it. A part of that "good" halo game, is that they don't apply their "wokeness" (if they are that is) into the actual games moving forward.
@@payloinfinite3435 same here, but the problem is that Microsoft incentivises this kind of behaviour, they have an entire section on there website where they agree all the DEI practices, it hard to believe it won’t makes it way into the game when they go so heavy on it.

There’s a lot to say about this but to keep it short,
I don’t care who or what works for Halo, I just want more Halo. This situation is literally like that video saying the Fallout tv show was woke, the arguments are stupid💚
People who are being extremely aggressive when it comes to blaming the left or blaming the right when it comes to politics, You people are actually the issue.
Democrats play, Halo Republicans play Halo, Libertarians play Halo seriously stop dividing us based off political parties. We as Halo fans just want the best for the Halo franchise.
You make a good point, however, the democrat party is in favour of DEI stuff, the same DEI stuff being pushed into games, you cant expect the division to stop if both parties actively push shit into the media that both sides don’t want to see.
@@whoareyou3571 That's why we need to make it clear in a respectful, mature manner that we don't want this kind of stuff in our video games, no matter which side you are.

@@SlyNine yeah I think he is just misinformed about the situation, or is in some sort of bubble?

Borderlands 3 kinda falls flat in that because you notice more the rest of the woke stuff without the rest of quality writing.
Well all you gotta do is not be homophobic and not be racist.

@@jessep3542Let's be clear here, Halo 4, 5 and Infinite aren't bad because of identity politics or anything "woke", they're nowhere near as good because of game mechanics, level design, lack of vision and other things that actually make up the game itself.

Thank you! Making this kind of content puts me on edge that I'll say something that will make people upset. I want to talk about the game not agendas
Not that I mind the battle pass system in Halo infinite and the seasonal passes in Halo MCC, however the whole battle pass thing started with Fortnite and it honestly should have stayed there.
honestly stay golden.... keep up the great work... ⭐⭐⭐
Division is created when we’re not of the same values.

Dude have you not seen all her social media? Rainbow flags everywhere! She will definitely push this lgbtq agenda into halo.
or she might be a normal person?
@@lucasa9480normal LGBT people don’t have to inform the world about there political standing with a big ass flag that represents a political movement.
cry about it lol
Master Chief is non binary, his pronouns are ineed/aweapon
@@FirefighterAliveJC yall coping hard because DEI ain’t working no more
You are full of crap if you try to deny the fact that people are fed up with all the FORCED inclusivity bullcrap in gaming as a whole (and media).
THANK YOU! I'm tired of seeing this on Twitter because it's so toxic and hateful. Just want to enjoy Halo.
people are justifiably anxious about how Halo will be handled because the rainbow does seem to derail games and the fact this lady is heading all this causes bother among gamers
And the Chief they showed is definitely looking fat so this does already have people thinking the worst.
I bet they will have a gay character in the next halo mark my words 😂
no offense but why did you dribble the last sentence when you were reading her profile ? people worry about the future of gaming because of DEI not just in halo. itt ruined many games and franchises one after the other. it would be nice if politics would stay out of gaming.
I think better example would be, would they get upset if they saw a super straight flag, or religious flags being pushed in the game
Idc who are or what you are but do not project your beliefs or try to appeal to a "modern audience". Just make a great game that the fans of HALO can enjoy(with splitscreen), that's all i care about. As far as im aware the studio is just a 343 rebrand so my hopes aren't too high anyway....
KevinKoolx didn't wanna bring that up instead he uses the race card
Another terrible halo game is a foot. Got a dude working on it that is anti gun. I dont have any hopes for anything halo. Sad.
New name, same crap. None of us should be excited about this "new" studio. Video games are not the place to push in agenda. it's the place to escape the nonsense!!!
Martin Luther King - character, not the color of the skin
Today - Color of your skin, Not character.
You people are legitimately stupid
Bro look at what has happened in the gaming industry if you cant see it then you got blinders on
Getting real tired of you assuming the halo fan base is doing it because “they see someone who looks different from them”. No, we did research into these people’s backgrounds and came to conclusions based on research. 343 and Halo studios are same thing. Boone cam from 343 and has the same role. 343 was woke and bad and halo studios is looking like it is going to be bad and woke.
"We did research" sounds hilarious all things considered.
@@JeffZ1028sounds like you didn’t research. They all 3 are heavily involved in women’s activism.
@@JeffZ1028
Yeah. Read her bio because Kevin denied that she works in DEI but he deliberately, and conveniently, glossed over the part where it says she does!
He is still under the impression that she won't push her DEI and woke activism where it LITERALLY SAYS SHE DOES.
microsoft it self is woke. all the OG xbox fans know Larry Hryb should of been president of xbox but he was not black enough. so he left xbox after finding out his role was giving away to sarah bond. the xbox platinum rule woke sarah bond made that rule up.
That’s the real reason behind all this. It’s not because of her looks. That’s a cop out.
Idk
But I see other games that respond at the speed of light and don't shut down a community forums doing much better then what's been produced for too long now with the previous Halos.
"They showed us stupid graphics. No one cares about graphics."
Ok. Go check the halo infinite demo gameplay comments. Read EVERY SINGLE ONE talking about the graphics
@@dc3747 buddy, no one cares. The graphics are going to look good regardless. At THIS POINT, decades later... We need a well put together game with a good story.
@@JeffZ1028 your right that is irrational. However the people they put forth in there releases video are most self proclaimed activist. Thats why I said what I said. Politics should be removed from games. So it worries me seeing that background.
You probably should care, “woke” games have a track record of failing really bad, take concord for example, the game didn’t even last a week.
@@whoareyou3571 well the lady can be as woke as she wants to be, just don't touch Halo with any wokeness. That's what I care about
@@payloinfinite3435 same here, but the problem is that Microsoft incentivises this kind of behaviour, they have an entire section on there website where they agree all the DEI practices, it hard to believe it won’t makes it way into the game when they go so heavy on it.
lol just by the response from sketch halo is done. The proper response should have been “ an individuals politics will not impact any game development” and the basically that’s it. Everyone is tired of people’s personal politics infecting gaming and entertainment and destroying franchises everyone loves.
all of this is ridiculous. these people are basically saying "how dare this woman have a job?" and saying that the master chief looks like a woman? really? that's a stretch. He does need to cut back on the natty light though 😂.
If you played past Halo 2 and didn't already realize Halo was about inclusivity, you literally missed the point.
