I find having a same time for bed routine every night, and then you awake at the same time, naturally every morning. I often listen to audio books at night, with the screen off! 😃.x 😚

Nice video - edited in a very thoughtful way 🙂 I am just wondering how many people go through my experience in life when I turn on an amazing meditation on TH-cam to fall asleep but I forget to turn off autoplay feature in a video player 😄 Then I wake up in the middle of the night because of nightmares or weird sounds from recommended videos that play after my meditation 😅 I realized that information and different sounds in the video do matter to get a nightmare or peaceful vivid dreams at night. I remember that grandma used to say that the best sleep is when you see no dreams at all. Also, it may sound non-inclusive but prayers always help to sleep well. I still think that they work miracles when it comes to insomnia.
I'm sorry to say, but The Alchemist puts me to sleep! I've been trying to listen to it for years because of your recommendation, but I just can't stay awake. I've accepted that I'll never know the story 😅 this is it's gift to me!

Just to add, some techniques for better sleep can take longer to work but then will work for life; like techniques suggested in this video. And some techniques will work fast but when used long term will disturb the sleeping pattern more and will be very difficult to get rid off: like watching TV until you fall asleep.
I'm a night shift nurse, I work 3 night a week x 12hrs, and then the other 4 night I sleep at night, I'm a mom of 2...it's a little difficult go sleep at the same time, well somebody need to take care of those patient at night.
Everyone, absolutely everyone says the same thing about the phones but it is the ONLY thing that gets me to sleep! I will try everything else under the sun that people say are the best things to do but if I put watch something on my phone I am asleep within 5 minutes! So strange

I listen to podcasts to fall asleep. This has even helped me nap during the day when I need it. People talking is so relaxing to me.
