Nice video. You will get better with each submission. I tend to stay away from anything pre 2000. There are a lot of new graders who either don’t know the older sets and downgrade those cards from lack of knowledge. I also feel they have changed how they grade those cards in general. Best of luck on the submission.
Always takes guts to post on TH-cam. I respect it and I appreciate the content. Try this tho, take a magnifying glass, cut the lights off, aside from an overhead desk lamp, then look.. you'll see things you never seen before.
Ive been mia! Must of missed alot! Finally got you a magnifying glass!!! Yoooooo makes a huge difference. I get some fine terry clothes to lay my cards on, and also good for wiping off prints/smudges
Hey Faith, Thanks for the info! It is very helpful! I'm in the process of my second PSA submission and I use a magnifying desk clamp, circle LED lamp - not sure the correct name. It works great but I think that using the loupe could make a huge difference! You have some great Jordan cards! Are you a collector too or just like grading and selling? Cheers.
So sending in 5 or 10 dollar cards will not make any money. For example the 1991 hoops McDonald's in a PSA 9 is $20 card. In a 10 it's 90 or 100. It's really hard to get a 10 on early 90s cards. You'll lose money on 9s and below. Personally I wouldn't send anything into PSA if raw it's only 5 or 10 bucks. Just not worth it.
Is your goal to get just Gem Mint 10s? If not, and you are good with submitting valuable/marketable enough cards to get a Grade 8 or 9, you can usually see the required condition of the card with the naked eye and not have to use the magnifying glass so much.
You gotta try to get your hands on the new wnba prizm release. Its coming up soon. Just thr Caitlin clark base will psa 10 will be worth hundreds I imagine. Atleast during the hype....i plan on having a couple people split up around town to show up around 3am on release day lol
I think you're going a little too deep with it that's just my opinion I've sent cards in and just looked at them with my eye and have gotten dead unless you're looking at older cards I can understand that and newer cards not so much you don't need one of those magnifiers in my opinion everyone has one nice video though keep up the good work keep grading❤❤❤❤
I had to fill on commit after some really bad grades recently lol I didn’t trust my eyes anymore but as I gain more experience I’ll probably be better at using my eyes 🤣
You will lose mo ey on those cards just paying for the grading get a few good crds and then send them in your chances of getting tens isn't good even with magnifier lol
Why are you submitting any of these cards for grading? You are pretty much throwing money away. Even a 10 for a lot of these cards are not worth the price of grading. Look at what a card sells for raw, then look at what it sells for as an 8, which is generally the highest grade you should expect as it is more realistic. If the cost of grading costs more than the value added, don't grade. You are sending a lot of commons that have little to no market. I know some people like to build complete sets, but if you are newer at this, this is not the time to start that. You are going to lose a lot of money.
Thanks for sharing, Faith! The USA Jordan 55 is climbing in price for 8's and above.
You're doing great! :)
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that’s good for me! Thank you 😊
You’re doing great. The more grading you do the more you’ll learn. Sweet cards!
Thank you! Definitely learning with EVERY submission 🥴
I've never inspected my cards that close but trying to get common cards a 10 grade from PSA is a nice addition to the aspect of collecting
I’ve had some bad runs lately so I’m trying to put in the extra effort until I develop a more trained eye 🧐
Awesome seeing a woman doing this. Keep up the good content. I’ll follow.
Thank you! ☺️

Thank you!! Unfortunately right now I have a pallet worth of 70s-98 cards so I’m learning with the junk wax & older cards 🤪

I did! lol 😂 it really makes all the difference
Should do well. I use a desk magnifier and a centering tool. They definitely help.
Btw, you got a new sub!
Omg a desk magnifier is genius! I’m going to have to order one! The loupe is good but I was going cross eyed after a while 🤪
thats bad im a fellow collector and your newest subscriber
Welcome 🤗

Mostly grade & sell but I’m slowly finding my love for some and I keep those

Ohhhh 👀 lemme see what I can come up with 🤞🏻
Good looking content here . Keep it up
Thank you!
How did you get all of those old cards? You had them for a while or bought some old packs recently?
I bought a collection in April or March of this year
1990 Fleers aren't worth submitting except for Jordan, for the most part
Everything I was seeing was Jordan, his era for sure
good luck kid!!
🤣 I need more than luck at the rate I’m going!
Supposed to say gotten tens sorry and I have gotten a lot of time just by looking at it with my eye
lol I was picking up what you were laying down 🤪

This is also a hobby, not just investment. Please respect the hobby and don't ruin it with money related comments.
Money isn't everything. I submit stuff cause I love the hobby
Is this a troll account?? Sam Vincent dribbling card??? Nate McMillan??? Good content??? People never cease to amaze me with the BS they'll watch.
