You only have to look back on the cocaine cowboys of 80 & 90's, I've seen more attorney get disbarred (rightly so) in this state and have seen judges get removed from the bench than most other states. Be glade of the transparency than having none at all.
Was a creditor in a large business bankruptcy was shocked how the attorney's, judge, and Government Trustee attorney had all worked together at one time or another. They stood around talking like they were on the golf course. Then they all made written, and verbal admissions they had worked together at different BK law firms. They all ruled the 1% of the money left the debtor had went directly to the attorney's first which is how BK works the attorney's all get paid first then the debtor was able to get paid for work he did then the creditors. It was a total sham like nothing I ever seen before. Every creditor who raised objections to anything was ruled against.

The only punishment I've ever seen a judge get was a like this, a verbal reprimand. Which is pretty much just a slap on the wrist. They sometimes get some unpaid time off.. which they probably use to go on vacation..
