If you sit in the back we can clearly see you, but if the short person sits in the back it's like they don't exist. It's really simple. I'm 5'9" and I get it, but sometimes during the photo, shorter girls in heels tell me to "go back" and the only thing that you can see are my freaking eyes. It’s just kind of annoying when you have to have class photos and you get sent to the back but then get surrounded by people standing on benches in front of you, therefore you end up not being seen in the picture. Also, it’s not about wanting to look pretty. We just don’t want to have the constant annoyance of being told to go to the back where we get surrounded by people anyway. If it's unequal ground, obviously, different arrangements have to be made And if someone puts the tall benches on the front they are stupid. I don't think she truly believes that men are supposed to be tall. I think her comment was targeted at society's general belief that men are supposed to be tall and women are supposed to be short so a tall man being questioned about his height hits different compared to a tall women being questioned about her height. When I find someone who's really tall i'm always AMAZED at how beautiful and majestic they look and I've never found such grumpy tall people lmao I always say nice things because I generally love tall people and they've always been super cute!! A friend of mine is 6'2" tall and she's a girl and she's so confident about her height, I always tell her she's beautiful and she's happy the way she is. Plus it's a great way to start a conversation, I think (with boys). Tall people love yourself because you're stunning!!

Weird my old school only dated girls in the 5ft 5in- 5ft 8in range while the girls under 5ft don't get even get a glance unless they have big boobs and big hips.
Dont worry! Eventually none of that stuff matters as people mature. Idk if youre in school but I remember always wanting to be petite and less muscular than I was becos guys always went for tinier girls. But as we get older that kind of thing matters less and less and self confidence and kindness becomes the most important :)

Six feet even, 65 years old, and it’s always pissed me off that tall men seem to _always_ prefer petite women. In my experience men don’t mind if you’re taller. I think it’s a bigger deal to women.
Growing up there were no other girls even close to my height. I got over being self-conscious a looong time ago but it annoys me that I’m can’t be inconspicuous sometimes.
I don’t mind people asking how tall I am or if I played basketball. Candid curiosity is never offensive to me.
And you can’t see how tall I am unless i stand up. When I’m sitting I just look regular. I have really really _really_ long legs.

Over my 40-year career in IT there were only one or two real dicks, and it was just sublime to stand up and remind them that they were small. Yes, that’s kind of petty. Whoah lassie, “men are supposed to be tall” I have been attacked
I don't think she truly believes that men are supposed to be tall. I think her comment was targeted at society's general belief that men are supposed to be tall and women are supposed to be short so a tall man being questioned about his height hits different compared to a tall women being questioned about her height. A tall guy reveals his exact height and the world goes "Oh awesome!" whereas a tall woman does the same and the world goes "Oh awkward."
They men like men are admired when they are tall and loved but when girls are tall it's abnormal or weird
