R.i.p to those who lost people in the past.. I hear this song every night before bed to remember those who taught me everything in life and became a better person
A moment in the series that added emotion to such a powerful scene. To me it got me hooked on wanting to watch more. Haven't stopped and continue to enjoy the show. =ray=
The moment when Rick kneels next to the bicycle girl in season 1 just before he shoots what's left of her. This song was playing and you could see the sadness in her eyes the miserable existence. Rick points the gun at her and says " I'm sorry this happened to you" then he ends it. Was a touching moment.
The whole beauty of it comes, when you realize that it's not actually sadness. Just a face that was "lucky" enough to rot and warp that way. The combination of flesh eating killing machine with sadness expression in this mercy act is just so astronomically tragic, that I can't hold my tears...
***** It's not gone. If you think humanity is "not kill anyone" than you're wrong. Rick is protecting his group. You think he want to kill people? No, but they give him a reason to.
MrAliquam Didn't infer that...but when he ran down that cop with his hands retained behind his back.. that was murder.. that was not protecting his group, that was cold blooded murder.. When he killed all those Term. in the church he could have done if fast and quick. No.. Bloody and horrific.. But He's starting to pay the price when Beth and Ty got offed...there a price to pay for killing those who can't fight back. Call it God's Will. Fate.. Kismet , or Karma. it will start to get expensive for him...
This song makes me wonder about mistakes we all make. Rick loved Lorry, and she loved him. Even though that had quarelled at the end, and didn't say their goodbyes, there was nothing really to be said. We all knew they have been loving each other...
Death was with me from birth and slowly followed me on this earth. As I grow older I see death gradually take those that I love one by one and understand my time will one day come.
There's another track on youtube of this same song but with gunshots. Since I never watch zombie, vampire of horror flicks, I was wondering if anyone knows why there are two different tracks for this song? Thanks.

Brings back memories of my life but how crazy is it the ones I loved dearly are gone but not forgotten
Beautiful song and picture.
This song is beautiful, it makes me want to cry. I love this kind of music, it is very moving.
Khalid Elmekki agreed :)
It really is tbh
This feels like a Halo track. Bravo!
This score captures totally the feeling of hopelessness and despair. Genius.

it's like you can feel the humanity in it...

Its so interesting when you watch season 1 compared to season 5, Rick is a whole new person. I hope that part of him is still there.
Artmi73 That was when Rick had his humanity...now its gone.. i wonder if he'll ever get it back..???

Just...epic. Those are powerful tunes!
It is simply the best song! It is depressingly beautiful.
makes me want to cry and dance at the same time...
this music makes me cry every fucking time I hear it in the show
Me too. It resonates with me a lot.
David I cannot blame you, it makes me think.
Thank you, Bear, a really great tune. Mesmerizing!
Fight the dead...fear the living
LOVE the song and the picture is perfectly tranquil...unlike their world now on the "Dead." Thanks for posting!

am lost show me the way....,,,
Jimmy was Beth's boyfriend on the show. But in the comics Hershel has 3 sons and 4 daughters. Out of all his sons, only Billy makes it to the prison.
what software did you use to make this video?
The picture would fit more if it was slightly more hazy or gloomy
This should've been on the official TWD soundtrack cd dammit!
Honestly, only two tracks worth listening to on that album!
