Can say that Farewell Life is definitely one of your most top songs. I stumbled on this song about 7 years ago and to this day i love it. Farewell Life is even featured in one my country's government advertisement about drug usage.
It's also because you can't really do that much more to a dead person, while you so much more to the living I mean I can for example very easily twist this quote and say something like: Dead people get less food than living ones

Maybe it’s because we have unlearned the ability to cry together , it’s easier to smile together then to cry together , it shows vulnerability to others and most people have been hurt or have been abused, bullied by someone so they have built this defense mechanism to protect themselves and their feelings, it has come to a time where everyone has that defense mechanism and only want to protect themselves , it’s sad we lost the main thing that makes us human beings, the ability to show vulnerability to others

I am one of those people and I hate to see others suffer as I have suffered and would give my life just for them to be happy and live a life with no pain but I know that I can bare the weight and must keep marching on until the day comes that the weight is taken off my shoulders and I am taken home.

I know not many people will be willing to read this but hear me out if you would like to. I am 17. I go to school everyday. I have a good family. Yet life doesn’t bring me happiness at all it feels like. Even when I am having fun with friends there are still those sad thoughts at the back of my head. My grades are not the best, and it’s really hard for me to talk to anyone in this world. I feel like parents will shout at me, whereas friends may not understand. It’s like I have nowhere to go. I’ve had so many thoughts about what if I ran away from everything? However, the realisation comes down as well, but where will I run? And how am I meant to survive? All of this, is just piling on everyday. I sometimes wished that I go to sleep and don’t wake up another day. If you read this thank you. I needed to say it somewhere. ✌️ Edit: Guys thank you for all these comments and likes. Every time I comeback there at least 10 new comments and a 100 more likes. I will try some of the techniques you have suggested. I hope you also have that someone to talk to. Also for all the people that tell me to turn to god, I have believed in God sometime, went into a catholic school, but I just had a moment, where I questioned everything and kind of stopped believing in him. As for Islam, I have not studied the religion enough and may try it but I am not sure if it will be for me as well since Christianity and Islam are similar in my perspective as far as I know. I felt the same way during my second year of High School. I was ready to kill myself and o had the knife raided and ready but you know what, the people that cared about me wouldn't let me go through with it and they gave me the strength to carry on. Your friends and family will understand and help you if you reach out to them. Who knows by reaching out for help you may help them as well.

My aunt passed away yesterday. This thing was a painful blow to the whole family. She was the youngest among her sisters. She was the kindest and the pillar upon which we all lean. We ask God for patience in this great ordeal and to have mercy on her with His vast mercy. Enjoy with your loved ones while you still have time, stay safe everyone.
It is either because one does not want to bother others, or, even worse and more oftenly the case, others don't give a damn. But then there is sad music, who does listen and also help. ❤
Being humans, we have biases. We go and find things that reinforce how we feel, what we think, how we act and respond. And confrontation isn't easy, change is a difficult and often onerous process. While we want to be happy, the change often required to do so and the effort demanded is something we tend to hide from. I don't disagree with the prior comment, either. Seeking out help is only useful/beneficial if the help 'helps.' So to some, this is self-medication; a coping mechanism.
Sad music is an audible cue to cry. To cry is to filter out the toxins the brain produces. Those toxins or negative emotions remind you of current problems. Once your mind filters, you are grateful to the artists that indirectly relate to you. This filtering and gratitude gives you the strength and education to carry on in life. I like crying to sad music for such reasons.

The past three years have been absolute hell for me... My grandpa passed away two weeks before Christmas in 2019, then my nonbiological grandma passed away a few days before Easter in 2020, then I lose three buddies that I called my brothers in a tragedy at an event due to carbon monoxide poisoning last year. During that same year, my mom's boss, whom I looked up to at times, passed away two days after my 20th birthday. Now, a nonbiological aunt is in the hospital for some time and the doctors don't know what's wrong with her. Sometimes I feel like I just want to end it all and get rid of my suffering, but a voice always calls out to me and reminds me that there's still much to live for. I'm still here because of my mom and the many friends I made during my 21 years of life. I'm still going forward because I realized that sometimes when you suffer, it doesn't always mean doom and gloom. It means that you're still alive and want to continue living. The more pain you feel, the more alive you will be. Although I hate pain and death, I've come to accept them because it's sadly part of life, but those two things are also the important teachers as well. So to those who are in the same spot as I am, don't give up on hope. There are people who truly do care about you. Life happens for a reason. Don't throw it away. Because eventually at some point, you might have to end up talking someone out of ending their life by sharing your own personal experiences. Remember, there are others who are going through a similar rough time, so always make sure to talk to them and help them out. You might end up saving their life because of it. To whoever reads this, always believe in yourself and never give up hope.
Listening to this music , while alone in my vehicle made me sadly realize how much more regrets I have for not saving my beautiful stepdaughter from suicide. She was 23 years old and sadly departed this earth a week ago. For years she had contemplated suicide due to severe depression. Not only had she told me about this but many of her friends. Aside from listening to her, no one really made an effort to get her proper care and some sort of intervention. I wish I had been more educated enough on the subject. I should have addressed the red flags! And for those of you that read this, listen to your loved ones especially when they express discontent with life. I love her very much, she means everything to me. I’m so sorry for letting her down. I will gladly give my life in exchange for hers. This hurts too much....

This music actually hits me really hard. I had a last day of semester today, and I had to say farewell to my drama, professor, because I don't know when I'm going to see him. He was one of the kindest individuals, and always made me smile. He was one of those professors, who gave his life to his art, and dedication. So this music really gives my feeling a Soundtrack.

My dad got cancer with me at age 8. The cancer left for a while. But it came back. He died a few years later when I was 11.. I miss him so much.. the last words I said to home were “you don’t love me”.. but now I know he does.. my words to you are, don’t say anything mean or rude to your parents. I lost my doggo today 21st August 2020 due to parvo virus. I'm writing this at 2 o'clock when my dog used to bark along with some street dogs and right now I am really missing his voice. He was fighting very hard till his last breath but sadly he could not win. RIP Sane missing you a lot

I just graduated from college. I reflected on my experiences. All of the long nights in the library, the amazing friends I met, the hours I spent in the computer lab, hours I spent in clubs, walking on campus late at night, hanging out with my friends, sitting outside and reflecting late at night, and the incredible hard work it was to finally get my degree. College was a home away from home for me. It was the best and worst of times. It’s been real. I am finally finished. This song makes me look back and reflect on all of my experiences.

This is making me think of my granddad. He was a great man, he never gave up on anything, always tried a different approach to the same task if something didn't work out. He made me a cot when I was younger for my toys and I still have it at 18, it's a memory for me.
Depression isn’t just sadness, it’s pain. Sometimes it makes you cry so much that your chest hurts and you can’t breathe, and sometimes when people shout at you, it feels like everyone is ganging up on you, like you have nobody to turn to, and never will.. I’ve felt it, but not at its fullest. It’s kinda what I imagine a little bit of it can be like.

I know not many people will be willing to read this but hear me out if you would like to.
I am 17. I go to school everyday. I have a good family. Yet life doesn’t bring me happiness at all it feels like. Even when I am having fun with friends there are still those sad thoughts at the back of my head. My grades are not the best, and it’s really hard for me to talk to anyone in this world. I feel like parents will shout at me, whereas friends may not understand. It’s like I have nowhere to go. I’ve had so many thoughts about what if I ran away from everything? However, the realisation comes down as well, but where will I run? And how am I meant to survive? All of this, is just piling on everyday. I sometimes wished that I go to sleep and don’t wake up another day.

I hope you also have that someone to talk to. Also for all the people that tell me to turn to god, I have believed in God sometime, went into a catholic school, but I just had a moment, where I questioned everything and kind of stopped believing in him. As for Islam, I have not studied the religion enough and may try it but I am not sure if it will be for me as well since Christianity and Islam are similar in my perspective as far as I know.

It is either because one does not want to bother others, or, even worse and more oftenly the case, others don't give a damn. But then there is sad music, who does listen and also help. ❤

The past three years have been absolute hell for me... My grandpa passed away two weeks before Christmas in 2019, then my nonbiological grandma passed away a few days before Easter in 2020, then I lose three buddies that I called my brothers in a tragedy at an event due to carbon monoxide poisoning last year. During that same year, my mom's boss, whom I looked up to at times, passed away two days after my 20th birthday. Now, a nonbiological aunt is in the hospital for some time and the doctors don't know what's wrong with her. Sometimes I feel like I just want to end it all and get rid of my suffering, but a voice always calls out to me and reminds me that there's still much to live for. I'm still here because of my mom and the many friends I made during my 21 years of life. I'm still going forward because I realized that sometimes when you suffer, it doesn't always mean doom and gloom. It means that you're still alive and want to continue living. The more pain you feel, the more alive you will be. Although I hate pain and death, I've come to accept them because it's sadly part of life, but those two things are also the important teachers as well. So to those who are in the same spot as I am, don't give up on hope. There are people who truly do care about you. Life happens for a reason. Don't throw it away. Because eventually at some point, you might have to end up talking someone out of ending their life by sharing your own personal experiences. Remember, there are others who are going through a similar rough time, so always make sure to talk to them and help them out. You might end up saving their life because of it. To whoever reads this, always believe in yourself and never give up hope.

Listening to this music , while alone in my vehicle made me sadly realize how much more regrets I have for not saving my beautiful stepdaughter from suicide. She was 23 years old and sadly departed this earth a week ago. For years she had contemplated suicide due to severe depression. Not only had she told me about this but many of her friends. Aside from listening to her, no one really made an effort to get her proper care and some sort of intervention. I wish I had been more educated enough on the subject. I should have addressed the red flags! And for those of you that read this, listen to your loved ones especially when they express discontent with life. I love her very much, she means everything to me. I’m so sorry for letting her down. I will gladly give my life in exchange for hers.

This music actually hits me really hard. I had a last day of semester today, and I had to say farewell to my drama, professor, because I don't know when I'm going to see him. He was one of the kindest individuals, and always made me smile. He was one of those professors, who gave his life to his art, and dedication. So this music really gives my feeling a Soundtrack.

I lost my doggo today 21st August 2020 due to parvo virus. I'm writing this at 2 o'clock when my dog used to bark along with some street dogs and right now I am really missing his voice. He was fighting very hard till his last breath but sadly he could not win.

I just graduated from college. I reflected on my experiences. All of the long nights in the library, the amazing friends I met, the hours I spent in the computer lab, hours I spent in clubs, walking on campus late at night, hanging out with my friends, sitting outside and reflecting late at night, and the incredible hard work it was to finally get my degree. College was a home away from home for me. It was the best and worst of times. It’s been real. I am finally finished. This song makes me look back and reflect on all of my experiences.

This is making me think of my granddad. He was a great man, he never gave up on anything, always tried a different approach to the same task if something didn't work out. He made me a cot when I was younger for my toys and I still have it at 18, it's a memory for me.
