- Right hello to all my beautiful Imstokze family...............(POSITIVE OUTCOME)..........👌🏼
A bit of a background story on Dav.
First of all 'WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND' Dav, For allowing me to film his classic car collection Dav started rescuing cars way back in the 80s, if he saw a car in a bush, On a driveway or in a shed, he would buy it, He's just like each and everyone of us, like me he sees cars as stray cats/dogs and simply has to rescue them, regardless of what it is or how much its worth he just had to save it, Through and through he has petrol coursing through his veins, Each and every car you will see over the weekend he has saved spending long days on the road traveling many many miles in search of that lost forgotten unloved car, he has traveled the UK & european Continent, Rescuing these cars.
The passion Dav has for cars spands back decades, Growing up in the by gone era of the good old Coal mining days, Dav has had a passion for cars that hasn't altered from his childhood to now a grown man, To this day hes still saving them and has amassed over 200 cars and counting.
What Dav is planning on doing is building a place where all walks of life can go and get hands on with these lost retro classic legends, and help get them running fixed up and back where they should be, Back on the road, His idea is in my opinion utterly brilliant and i won't lie almost brought a tear to my eyes.
Not only does he wish to bring like minded people together he also wants to allow people to drive these cars on the road for a day or even a weekend to experience a lost feeling of not only driving such classics but to also feel what its like to actually drive one as opposed to being driven by the car.
We have so long lost that feeling of being part of the car we drive and actually driving it having that sense of connection, Even falling in love with the feeling it gives us and not to mention the freedom to express ourselves,
old car makers had real to the bone passion for designing these cars, New cars have no heart characterless pieces of metal.
What dav, has envisioned will be a groundbreaking triumph, Its friends like dav that sets records for taking risks, throwing caution to the wind regardless of what anybody thinks,
We need more Davs in this word i for one am looking forward to this new venture and im so happy to bring you my amazing audience along for the ride. Thank you Dav,

Renault Clio MK1 came in both a Williams and the 16v model.
I believe from memory the 16v had the 1.8 16v engine and Williams had the 2.0 16v engine with obviously more bhp.
This is what weekend mornings are about for me, watching your videos. Thank you Stokze so many cars from my era

I had 2 1.8 16v and they look the same as the Williams and I think were 150 bhp, also the wheels I had on both of mine were called turbines ( I think )

2 smashing videos Stu Its a petrolheads dream collection of cars and as much as its heartbreaking to see them just sat there unused it was good to read your post and find out that these cars will hopefully one day be save and not headed for the crusher as part of the scrap scheme

Loads of the cars got stripped of parts last night by the looks of things, just seen the puma owners group that the racing seats have been stolen & to keep a eye out, plus a load of the others have been stripped of parts 😔😔
What a great find and all of the obtainable dream cars of my youth are just right there. Spec-wise a lot of them are spot on as well. Not just a Astra GSi but the 16V version, the MK3 Golf GTI also in 16V spec. Very cool. If I were Dave I would start storing the most rare ones indoors rightaway, every day that they're out there, it will be harder to bring back to life. For sure the Puma Racing, the 106 and 306 Rallye, the 200 BRM, Astra GSi 16V, the 309 Goodwood GTI. First time I've ever seen a 106 Rallye as a barn/field find.
alloys are correct on the 309 goodwood. i remember when they were new.
I'm pretty sure the 309 goodwood had gunmetal grey wheels as standard, but need to check myself now lol..

Wow, the 200 BRM and 309 Goodwood! So rare! The alloys are correct on the Goodwood. This is the best collection I've seen! Mostly top of the range 80's and 90's motors. Amazing and upsetting at the same time. Great content! The Clio looks like a normal 16 valve with those wheels. I say normal, but you obviously don't see them anymore..

I think this the most staggering UK find for one collection of performance cars from those eras.

The Goodwood is nuts.
The one RS2000 is not only a rare car its in a very colour too, gunmetal grey.
The huge Citroen CX GTi turbo also rarer than rare thing!
This is a Time capsule, I remember the days when most these cars were soo common in public. Love the content ❤
The boke who has collected all these cars has got alot of money worth if he sold them must of taken years to get a load of cars but them sitting in a field outside just to get vandalised why don't he sell some to get some cars back in good condition again and put them In a building as no body will get all them done back up but was good of him to let you show us the rest of them so you are a lucky person Stokze
As someone who is 35 and never looked twice at a Rover I would love to own one of those Tomcats.
22:04 The engines in these MK3 16V’s are pretty sought after a lot of them have been scrapped for their engines so they are a very rare sight on the roads these days

Mate I love your channel it’s my favourite on TH-cam. But someone’s seen your video and has taken a load of parts from the cars the vectra gsi front air dam has been stolen along with the rs2000 bits I’m devastated
Another channel done the video and showed the location nothing to do with stokze as you can see he has blurred the location out. He has respect others don’t

Gutted to see online this afternoon since posting the rs2000 / puma racing / frst have all had parts stripped .
Was only a mater of time . Anyone with knowledge of area , maps / google earth 🌍 will put 2 and 2 together .

Phase 2 1.8 16v Clio. I had a phase 1 and bloody loved it.
Those windows that have been smashed probably had the original glass.. that alone is sad. Great collection of cars though. Thanks for the effort stokze
Yeah. I hate the little sods who do that. Had it done myself on cars parked on the front over the years. The glass is often difficult to find from scrapyards and a pain to fit. But they don't care. Cheers.

Incredible collection of vehicles over the two videos, but what’s even more amazing is that there’s not just one example of a rare car sometimes there’s two or three! Even in the background there were cars that you couldn’t quite get to where I’m thinking I haven’t seen one of those for a long time! Brilliant video Stu!

Incredible and thankyou for posting this. With so much interest in 1990s cars but particularly the high performance variants it would be a travesty not to rescue and save these. I am sure that there are many other hordes linked as well to the great emissions led scrappage programme from 2009. Your Calibra V6 for a Hyundai i10 please !

The clio 16v was different to the Williams. Like a posher clio but not quite the Williams.
What an amazing place!! Hopefully, as you say in your community post we will have a lot more access and content coming from here.
There are some more gr8 cars there Stu, this reminds me of the TH-cam vid at RAF Thirlough, they were all old scrappage scheme cars on that vid, its well worth a look on there Stu!:).

Great video! I reckon this is a insurance company compound of cars that were stolen and recovered but paid out on to the owners by the insurers. I think they have all been long forgotten by the insurance companies who now own them
1.8 Clio was the RSI version still very rare car though.. can't believe how many classic gems are just sitting there 😮

There's a lot of wealthy enthusiasts out there that would love to put many of these beauties back on the road. NOW is the time to auction them off before they can not be saved.

Ive seen the community post and although it sounds like an amazing idea and i hope dav does manage to bring his idea to fruition
But as it stands at the minute he does not seem to have saved them as they are all delapatating and getting vandalism which is leaving them open inside snd out to the elements
I hope you can work with him to clean them up and make them water tight and remove the leaves twigs ect to try and stop them rotting away beyond repair

The clio is a phase 1 RSi 1.8 litre 16v. They came with the funky bonnet vent and wider arches the same as a Williams.
My mrs is daily driving a phase 1 RSi but it's an 8 valve one that doesn't have the wide arches or bonnet vent.
It’s not it’s a phase 2 16v (1.8 16v same engine as the 19 16v )
The rsi was a 1.8 8v standard body shell the 16v and Williams have wide body shells
Phase 2 alloys on the Vectra estate, don't see many vec estates , I would be like a kid in a candy shop there , so many good looking projects there. I'm happy with my mk4 Astra's
Clio is a 1.8 16 valve which came with the wide arches and the bonnet too .

Williams clio was 2.0 lt ide 150bhp. 1.8ltr ide 16v edition 137bhp.Had a 16v Renault 19 in the day, same engine 1.8 16v ide 137 bhp.
The Clio mate is a 1.8 16v not a Willams . Very close to a willams . They later made them into a clio RSi
Willams was a 2.0Ltr

Renault did a 1.8 16v clio around the same time as the williams. They look like the wheels off one and it also had the bonnet scoop and u could get them in the same blue colour as the williams. I had a clio 182 years ago and it spent more time getting fixed than it did on the road
Correct, I had an L reg Phase 1 1.8 16V, I added a Phase 2 grill to it! My next car was the Megane T Reg 2.0 which had the Williams 150Bhp engine.

Good to hear the owner has allowed to to show us this video but hopefully he/she knows how respectful you are on people's property and with people's property but its a real shame that other aren't like you going by the amount of smashed windows on those cars andvits those scrotes that spoil it for you

The Capri can be mk2/3 the last one.
Of the Capri
3.0 engin used also in the Ford Granada/ford Scorpio before the wailtail came out.
The blue Beatle
1301 or 1302 flat windshield.
The round windshield is 1303 whit 1600 engine
It's also ferry rare the softtop.
And u can put a 911 engine in.

Owner should sell some , use stu and chancey as the brokers , chancey can deliver on his sprinter so no one knows site location
