There used to be scrap yards all over the place once upon a time. Me and my cousin were always climbing fences, trees and the like to gain access. We didn't get up to mischief just had fun exploring old cars, buses and lorries. 56 now and I miss those days! Everything seems so sterile now!

I saw an early model black Mitsubishi GTO,twin turbo model too, that had been sat in a driveway for years by the looks of it, I approached the elderly couple twice, offered them cash both times turned down “Our son is gonna fix it up one day”, it’s still there 5 years later. They will wait until it’s rotten into the ground then overprice the F out of it, then be confused why nobody wants it anymore,people like that boil my piss, just sell it and give it to someone who will appreciate it!

6:13 The road tax on the blue mk1 Fiesta ROG338Y expired 27 years ago on the 1st December 1996. It was only on the road for 14 years having been registered 27th Oct 1982. So very sad that someone just parked them up, potentially to get them back on the road when they weren't as busy but they never got sorted out.
Old pal of mine had a Marina exactly the same as that one, same colour too, he was flirting with the idea of doing a robbery as he was in debt but didn't have the bottle, we got pulled over one night by the traffic division as something was dangling down under the car, the police were friendly enough up until they asked what was in the boot ? My mate opened it totally forgetting about the contents, ski mask - replica firearm - boiler suit - duct tape. We both spent 3 days in custody while they ran various checks on us and if any robberies had been done recently. That memory always springs into life when I see a feckin Orange Marina Thanks again anyway man lol

The Citroen AX is a Cornish car a was first registered in Truro (VRL) same as my work colleague who has a 97 Volvo estate 940 redblock and his reg ends with (ERL)....but alot of people like to have private reg's ending with CV in Cornwall, its a south-west thing 😁
I had a Marina Coupe as my second car in the mid eighties… was almost as rusty as that one underneath.. I realised how bad it was is when I jacked it up for the first time and it went straight through the floor….
I had a marina super same color. I had to hold the drivers door shut by sitting on a piece of rope tied to the handle. I think I paid £100 for her about 30 years ago .
Not sure how rough those Chevettes are, but the Historic Rally boys are starting to build more of them now that Mk1 & Mk2 Escort prices have gone to the moon.

He's had it over 20 years and has never failed an MOT since he had it. Brings her out every summer 😍Not sure why they were voted Britain's worst car 🤔 Any chance of a funds update? I had a marina jubilee years ago i later found out the next owner ran into a lamp post with it . Anyway tracked it down to a local scrap yard and took the jubilee badge of the N/S/F wing and have kept it to this day.

I had a marine coupe super back in 1990'ish.. the rear axle decided to fall off going round a long sweeping bend in the road and it threw me into some crash barriers on the opposite side of the road and that was the end of the marina
Colins plastic pig Al at 6 d diesels had to use a heavy duty press to get the pistons out. Have you seen his channel he is a proper character , in a good way . I'm looking forward to seeing it running .
