- Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
We're back on the Piddlemouth Coast today, and we're going to be having a look at whether our Plastic production is actually producing plastic... one of the key functions we had in mind when we built it.
We're going to be taking a trip on one of our Class 60 locomotives operating on the Tampool Oil Train services. We need to see if the line is actually carrying something at all, and if it's making us any money at all, or if we've completely wasted our time.
So today enjoy a scenic journey with one of our EWS locomotives as we find out if this is in fact, a massive white elephant in the room!

Hello Joe, Map is looking properly busy these days, and with the tampool oil trains in the line manager the game gives you the ability to edit what cargo and how much it can take. This feature is perfect for that route since the fuel to oil ratio is way off.
A few people have suggested this, so it’s definitely something I’m gonna have to investigate, though with it transporting all that fuel in both directions it’s making us a fat wad of cash 🤣
I think there are two things that would be cool for this map. 1. a Heritage line set to like 40mph through a scenic part of the map, you put a few different locos of different types and just let them do that route. and 2. ELECTRIFY THE MAINLINE AND HAVE THE SPEEDY QUICK TRAINS JOE

But that comment right there is the reason that Multiplayer would make sense on this game. You could have multiple players looking after a single area (Trains, Buses, Towns etc) or some teams specialising in freight, pax, trams, buses etc. That'd be such and upgrade. That, and the inevitably needed bug fixes..

Feel like the problem for this chain of service is because the train is taking fuel instead of oil, which is caused because there is a factory which takes oil go produce fuel, since the distance is shorter, the oil mostly go into fuel production, but not transfer to plastic production, I think the possible way to solve is separating lines for cargo at train station, in other words do not link all the things together
Another option is to limit the train to take oil through route setting, edit station goods items and only take oil
An random idea but, maybe a heritage railway would be a good idea to add or a sleeper service? Probably bad ideas but ideas nonetheless
