I've had nothing but good things to say about my r5 wheel so far, but do check those pedals after a few weeks or months of use, I had some of the bolts back out and was giving me a wacky calibration issues. I think they just need to find their home as you use them and then a retorque gets them happy.
Good review, I really liking what moza is doing. Their prices are fair and the open eco system is awesome ! They make it possible for us regular people to get into sim without spending thousands. Thrustmaster and Logitech are ok but it’s definitely an entry level cheap option that more like a toy. I play ATS so the r5 is perfect for me. It gives me the opportunity to explore other games. I also like that you can upgrade it to 8 nm later if you like .
8:58 - Moza actually is a company that specialises in making gimbals & other similiar products, they got into simracing because they thought they could do well with their electric motor expertise
I had to sell mine to afford a real car, and man do I miss it, they're fucking incredible especially for the price, 10 years ago for a wheel that good you would pay probably 4,000$
Can you please share your steering wheel settings? I'm new to this and I don't know how to set them up. Right now, I feel like the steering wheel is a bit confusing.
I have a problem in the pit house software I can’t configure the game and when I try manually it doesn’t work any fixes on how you had done it or a fix you found if you encountered this?
i think since you are starting to try different wheels, you should try assetto corsa, i think its the best simulator tbh. also, i would love to see a video with the must have mods and settings for automation and beamng! keep up the great work!
It's no Mad Catz but I guess it'll do... :D Really, that looks like a very good set up for folks wanting to get serious. It'd probably make the last 20ish cars for the showcase quite fun to drive as well.
This is basically a sim racing channel now
Is sim racing really that good?
It can be fun, I don't take it too seriously

There is a mod to upgrade it to cells
Nice! I just upgraded from my T300RS to a PXN V12Lite which is even with the Moza R5! Enjoy your wheel!
Nice. I wish I had a decent steering wheel like you.

2:00 you can also replace just the rim rather than the whole wheel, think moza sells them for $40 for the F1 wheel and $80 for the larger round wheel
He shows that in the image

Do you not have a cammus c5 ? It's broke ?
I have a few wheels, none are broken
@@automotiveflux Do you think it is reliable ?
Not sure yet, haven't had it for long enough
@@automotiveflux ok
Is it really better than a T300 rs ? Does it worth the change ?
I haven't tried that one
Ofc it's better, direct drive > belt driven/gear driven
i also got the moza r5 haha
Anyone know if the moza shifter works with beam Ng?
Yeah, it works with beamNg.
@@ellalazz-1201 Thanks for the reply 😁
