I like this slower type of thing. Usually house and interior videos rush by, for some reason, and you get a microsecond view of any part, but when looking on a building you want to _stay_ . The whole purpose of a building IS staying. You want to take it in, get a feel for it. So thank you for that. Much appreciated. And on the building itself - very nice! I would have never chosen painted interior walls like that, but I actually liked it! Good inspiration, and maybe I'd go for that style too were I ever to build something like this.

That lil A- Framed Cabin has got to be one of the most beautiful cabins that I have ever seen in my life . I love the paint by numbers art work because it's so colorful and amazeing . You are so talented. As an artist myself I know how much time it takes to do a big art piece. I love that moose painting and your mama was right about the moose but that's what really makes that painting stand out and it's unique . I just love the artwork . I love the furniture, the stove , that fish rug . That cabin is just decorated just perfect . I love that Smoky The Bear . I would turn that lil storage room into a little kitchen . You could maybe set up some water system without plumbing . I be seeing on TH-cam how alot of people who live in tiny homes , cars , a bus and vans set up there water systems without being connected city water . But then I don't know your situation . Oh you could maybe set up some kind of rain catchment system and filter your water . But anyway I would put a lil compost or whatever kind of toilet you want over there by that stove where those coats are whatever was hanging up over there . That is just the perfect cabin . I love those lil beds , they are beautiful . I love the high ceilings because they make the cabin look bigger . I love the the big window that you can open up . I love the color of the cabin with the red door and the red window frames . I bet it is so pretty when it snows , I bet when it rains on the roof the sounds of the rain is so relaxing . I was watching TH-cam tonight and your lil cabin popped up on my TV . I just had to see the cabin . I am so glad that I saw it . Thank you for sharing it on TH-cam for the whole world to see . OMG... I love it! Especially with the two beds. It's quite roomy and you did a fabulous job building that. Myself, I would put a small bathroom in the small back room area. The main thing I like about your build is the decking! The whole point to being in the woods is to be OUTside. So small sleeping quarters is cool. Large deck to enjoy outside.
I agree! The deck was a great addition! The one thing I miss is a covered porch for when it rains, so I'm trying to figure out what to do on that end. I may build a small pavilion or a separate bathhouse with a covered porch on the side. Thanks for watching!

defo make it a kitchen nook. if you had a guest it would give you space to cook inside. Have you considered widening the pop outs to make it a G frame? that would give you some extra space.
Don’t want to get too crazy or I’d be better off just doing a rebuild haha. If I make a change, the flip up roof will become a permanent roof and addition. If I end up doing that, the back room will be a bathroom. Probably make some decisions in the spring!
That's nice. Don't have to worry about snow load. Lol. I like the way it opens up like that. Don't you have to worry about bears ?? I'm not sure if you have them there but that seems to be very light weight .

A covered porch area is what I miss the most! I need to figure out what I want to do there. I would at least like to put a little awning over the door, but I may build that entire right side out if I can figure out how haha.

Nice, I am glad that you like it and it is architecturally pleasing. I cannot help but that for myself I see lots of places that could have been built for more space. For me it wouldn't be great but it is an interesting structure and the deck is nice.
I feel like the cabin itself is a 3-D paint-by-number from the colors that you used. I would suggest if it hasn't been yet that you make 3 panels that can be attached to the roof opening to make it fully enclosed being animal and weather safe for when you want more room or have a guest. You can build a slide out tray under the deck to store them. Great build
I think it looks very nice. My husband loves paint by numbers too. He has done quite a few in our time together. Kitchen or bathroom yeah that'd be a hard call. Maybe build another one behind/ beside it, either attached or with a breezeway between the two.

Thanks! At one point, I thought about having custom waterproof canvas panels made, but I think I’m just going to build it out.
