I've just finished doing my kitchen cupboards and doors with v33 and I have to say I'm amazes at how good the finish is! No streaks, nor stipple. Looks fantastic! Really good paint!

Thanks for the update, seriously considering doing this in my kitchen where the red tiles look fine but are a bit overpowering.

Quality paint .. I was dubious about painting dark green tiles with this & how it would look finished. Yes it took 3 coats but the finish was spot on. I ended up coating my entire kitchen with V33 worktop & cabinet paint too . Gave my early 90s Oak & Dark green coloured kitchen a whole new modern look . Swapped around the door handles & it looked a brand new kitchen. This stuff aint cheap but saved me 1000s . My bathroom is getting it next.

I painted over the tiles & plastic sheeting in the shower cubicle at my student let. I gave it all a light sand & then just painted 2/3 coats with a medium pile non fluffing 9 inch roller. It came out looking pretty good considering how shabby the previous landlord left it.
Only downside is that it struggles to stick to silicone, I'm not sure what the solution to this is but I'd like to know.
I also wondered if it's possible to tile directly over this paint? I'm thinking of doing this next time I decide to make improvements etc.
The best thing is, it stopped the small leak that was going into the downstairs bedroom ceiling.
It's been 2 1/2 years now, I wonder how it's fairing, I haven't been able to inspect it myself since then.

@Yum Yee . Amazing stuff, the right thing to do would be remove the silicone paint then re silicone, but with it being a student let or holiday let it doesn't really matter. Progress not perfection is what i say. Not sure if it can be tiled over. let me know how its fairing if you can. Cheers.

@@Inexteriors cheers, I will try remember. Yeah it's difficult when you buy a place that already has people in it. Trying to renovate/improve without pissing them off is a jungling game lol. Believe it or not, I managed to convince the tenants back in November 2019 to let me take out the partition wall in order to join the kitchen & living room together. They hated me for 2/3 weeks but they realised afterwards what a massive improvement it was. They're on their third year now, paid off big time making big improvements because I haven't had a void period since then. Best tenants I've ever had but they're leaving this summer.
I did have one question. I want to tile the worktops. I was thinking of just putting 9/12mm plywood on top, priming it & then tiling. These chipboard worktops are just a liability, especially with careless students who OTT wet everything. Would last forever if it's tiles with nice black/granite 600mm tiles.
I can't wait to get back & do all these things myself.
"If you want something done properly, do it yourse"
Too many Bob the builders ATM lol

@@yumyee2451 I am sure you can, i am no expert on tiling, just make sure the ply is well screwed down so the ply doesent move or spring up and down. Credit to you for your hard work and perseverance.

Hey so glad I came across these videos as I've been looking into buying this exact brand of tile paint. Could I ask how much paint you used for this size of kitchen? I'm just trying to determine how much I'll need to buy myself as I have a simular amount of tiles within my kitchen 😊 Thank you for the informative videos, they've been a great help 😊
