How high off the mat is the top rope? Just wondering how big I'd look in the ring at 6'2", 245lbs. I'm guessing the ropes are spaced apart 16"-18" and are about 1.5" tall (not around) so that would make the top rope 52.5" - 58.5". Am I close?
It's kind good using turnbuckles like AEW and my favorite pro-wrestling cosplay, Fantasy Super Cosplay Wrestling (FSCW), and always using hook/eye turnbuckles. But in WWE always using jaw/jaw turnbuckles and inside 10 × 11 of 4 inches turnbuckles pad, there's O-ring steel of 1½ inches to connect with real natural sisal ropes.
Just a thought is there any other structure could be used to hold such a wrestling type event that people may enjoy possible cage or ropeless ring or put something in place of ropes besides barbed wire has anybody seen anything else used
@@RageCrazeGamer I thought it might be a "UHF" reference! ("What's in the box? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!") I appreciate you asking about that. I really enjoyed making those, but the series was not especially popular. The one I did about "Parasite" is among the least-watched videos of the 550+ I've made...
My only disappointment with this video is that the turnbuckle wasn't the one from the danger corner where the ends of the rope meet. That hardware I've never actually seen.
One of the ropes for one of our rings broke recently, and I got an interesting lesson in the way ropes are maintained and adjusted as a result. Of course, I've done plenty of ring crews before and since then, so I've handled the ropes themselves, and the turnbuckles with them, many times. Here's a question: Where do you buy your ropes from?
Almost everything on my ring comes from Highspots. The quality is consistent, and once you know the people that work there, they take good care of you. My last three rings were all Highspots models.
That would be best. It's better to have the hose go all around the ring and cut just at the end. That way it avoids the hose from turning, provided a one inch hose can fit in the eyelet.@@TilWeMakeIt
WWE use real ropes

18 inches bottom rope
36 inches middle rope
54 inches top rope
So yeah they are 18 inches apart
Great vid, every wrestler who trains should learn some form of ring setup and maintenance skills.
Couldn’t agree more!
Love hearing from that TWMI Bell ringing
💪🏻
Pad taco is a clever pun it also sounds like a rock band name
Totally. I went to school with second drummer for Pad Taco.

Quack in the WF is like a mad scientist in his lab
Wow! Nothing like I imagined. Very cool

What's in the box???

The 1982 b horror film starring Demi Moore or the Korean film from a few years ago?

Hmmm...maybe I can make video about the danger corner. Thanks for the idea, Dave!
How can I be aew superstar

I’ve mad Pad Taco’s out of
water/fun noodles and duct tape before. Works really well for anyone that does not have an old gym mat.
A great hack 👍🏼
Great video! Do the ropes usually break at the corners?
If they break, that’s where it is most likely to happen
How do you get the rope through the eyelid?
You just feed it through and work your way back to the turnbuckle you started. Give yourself 6 - 9 inches extra before you cut the cable/rope
@@TilWeMakeIthow do u connect them together once they're cut?
So does that mean that the hosing is cut at each corner?
It can be, but if the eyelet on the turnbuckle is big enough, you can run the hose right through it, and avoid having to cut it.
That would be best. It's better to have the hose go all around the ring and cut just at the end. That way it avoids the hose from turning, provided a one inch hose can fit in the eyelet.@@TilWeMakeIt
@@TilWeMakeIt or can add a bigger ring to the eyelet of the turnbucke to pass the hose through. What diameter of hose do you use?
