- Finishing moves are an undeniable staple in the art of professional wrestling, so let's talk about them all: mine, yours, and everyone else's. A lot of things are wrapped up in our fantastic finishers, not just creativity, but sweat and pride, too.

What are other ways can you use to get bookings outside the state that you live in?
I have a video about that! Here: th-cam.com/video/4JwHVAmCXJY/w-d-xo.html
Scared me for a minute, was practicing putting my own spin on Quackendriver IV just yesterday 😅
Lmao
Sweet Mullet Mike would be a great wrestling name.
Would it be wise to sell your own finisher(s) to make it feel more impactful in the grand scheme of your career?
For example. You Irish whip your opponent and rebound off the opposing ropes yourself and give a major lariat. But to protect this finishes as a special finisher/last resort you pretend as though this finishes also injures your arm, thus preventing you from using it unless necessary. A failed last resort finisher would then cause you to trip and fall or something, giving the opposition a chance to take advantage. This gives both yourself and your opponent/partner options for several angles and in ring psychology. And protecting such finishing moves heightens the drama in the eyes of the crowd. It's like a move that's so devastatingly powerful that it's sure to end any match. It also gives a new angle to "high risk".
Is this something you would recommend?
I think it is certainly an interesting wrinkle to include that element. A move imbued with "self-sacrifice" opens up interesting storytelling possibilities, to be sure.
Respect . Plain and simple .
By the move description I thought you were describing a gory special..then thought he MUST KNOW what that is ..sadly I knew it as an iconoclasm.
On the QuackenDriver: every wrestling maneuver ever was innovated by someone. Every worker copies the majority of their repitoire from previous workers.
Imagine the royalties that Nelson would get...
so if I understand this correctly if the Yeti is on the same card as me, I should not wrap myself in toilet paper and call myself a mummy?
and speaking of Sting, do you ever think he went to a wrestling event and there was a wrestler using his stage name?
I did a few takes on moves in an efed, like a slingshot Suplex Powerbomb or a Cliffhanger DDT into a G2S.
The Quackenbush army is rapidly expanding.
This helped a lot thanks so much
You're welcome!
About the smashing the guitar over the head part, I also believe that you shouldn't do it if you are on a card with Jeff Jarrett
And if they’re both on card… good luck brother
Man you have like a lot of finishing moves like the multiple versions of the quackendriver, the Jig N tonic... and all of them are epic.. I even use your quackendriver III the spinning inverted fisherman driver I use that as a set setup move near the turnbuckle before I perform my phoenix splash , when my trainer in the Philippines ask me where i got the move I said Mike Quackenbush, they said who? then I show them a clip of your top moves.. they told me you are short hair Jeff hardy after seeing one of them is a senton atomico :P
Oh, well thanks for that! Who are you training with in the Philippines?
Flugelhorn attack... noted.
How do you come up with names for finishers? At this point, there's a (still green but more experienced than I) wrestler who has a finisher with the same name as mine. I'm actually sad, because it looks like I'm changing mine, but it was perfect lol.
When i did some Backyard Wrestling I had a spinning DDT where i would do a gut kick hook in their head then when I turn they jump as I spin and hit them to the mat
One of my buddies would jump so high his legs went up when I hit the spinning DDT
I would name it Red Tornardo
Just now I was so upset when I figured out the finisher I thought was created was the iconoclasm it's similar to the Quackendriver but he throws them into a facebuster and I felt I created a really cool looking move look at the move I created
Metal Maniac!
Lance Archers finisher looks like The Quackendriver
Indeed it does.
Well Mike the finisher I was thinking of is the perfect storm aka the 630 splash Ik that's Ricochet's move but I wanna know how he does it so that I can follow his lead and use it to defeat Miz
Sexxxy Eddy was the one that came up with the spot that Joey Ryan used. The one where the opponent grabs his junk, then he flips them over. True story.
Please can curb stomp be your finisher in pro wrestling
Jimmy Snuka's guy ... The Metal Maniac?
What about a death valley driver special move
Do you have a video in appropriately dealing with fans in and out of the ring?
Ik I agree with that
What if my thing is carrying a spatula everywhere I go?
I wanna become a pro wrestler but ..I don't have ticket money for a flight to go at America to go try out for a pro wrestling school. ..I live in Africa and we don't have pro wrestling school's here and here were i live life is so hard. ..pro wrestling is my dream. .and I feel like giving up please advise. .must I give up on my dreams or not and why.
Well, wrestling costs quite a lot and you dont earn much. And you will need a visa to learn and work in the US. If it is your dream, follow it. If you are old enough, get a job, save up and travel. If it is your dream work for it.
Where can I get training to be a referee? I am 40 now and working out , I live in queens NY. Is there anywhere in my area I can go that would suggest?
There are great training centers in NY. Reach out to Shane at NYWC and tell him I send you.
@@TilWeMakeIt thank you very much. Great vids by the way, all of them are full of much needed info
@@miguelcrespo8615 how is your luck going man?
Leave that ear cupping business to him… brother
The Young Bucks would really have to change their game if they were on a card with HBK on the same night huh ? I am a fan of all 3 so don't get me wrong . Just saying .
Also would every wrestler on the card refrain from doing a German Suplex if Kurt Angle was on the card ? Its not his finish , but is a signature move of his . Or would that be treated different since its a fairly standard move ? Maybe just dont over use it that night ?
WHAT ABOUT A CLOTHESLINE LIKE JBLS?
What about it?
Do a vid on promose
You got it! It's right here: th-cam.com/video/9X0CF8aFcew/w-d-xo.html
This video has been out for over a year with almost 4 thousand views, and not one person has hit another wrestler with a flugelhorn 😡😡😡
It's bound to happen.
So, what you're saying is before it's too late, Chris Daniels has all four quackendrivers coming his way? lol
Andrew Nope!
The most dangerous finishing move all of pro wrestling is the piledriver
OK.
@@TilWeMakeIt The Burning Hammer is the pinnacle of all finishers. And FYI NO ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD KICKOUT OF IT.
If you are running the show how should be your format??? And also if we use jobbers how do we keep them hot... I mean we know jobbers job is to make the other guy shine by burying themselves but the same jobber who is used on a regular basis as a stepping stone to others.....
How the people would watch the guy who is usually getting buried.. How would they be interested in that jobber loosing to the other guy
Scrolling through the comments looking for the flugelhorn links. None. Straight disappointment here. 🙋♂️
