Discord Sings are a popular internet trend where different Discord users each time send the lyrics to a song in the hope of “singing” the song in order. However, they rarely go as planned with lots of mistakes and restarts, as well as the occasional trolls who just send random memes and messages… however users aim to get back on track by asking for the lyrics (every single time :/) or what lyric is next. These videos/events typically last an hour or two of recording, as we often need to take multiple takes or attempts, as well as discuss how the video will work with participants who consent to join. I can then spend many hours editing over the course of a few days to an entire month, just to add value to the video and make it funny to watch. If I were to estimate, this video took 30 hours to edit over the span of a month (my biggest video yet!). The song we “sing” is linked above as well as full credits to any content used that I do not own.
My videos are all constructed under Fair Use and the TH-cam policies for reused content as I significantly transform the original media via visual and audio edits to create comedic moments and timing as well as to tell a story, similar to a YTP but for Discord messages.
