My name is Jason...i am on the maintenance team at Monte Vista. I am glad you enjoyed the stay at Monte Vista. We do our best to keep the resort looking nice and to make sure everything is working as it should.
What a fantastic episode in the "Living Our Dream Now" 2022, snowbird adventure's Series !!! You cant believe how exciting, fun, beautiful, relaxing, easy going and enjoyable you all made this RV resort destination look !! We wanted to hop on a plane and fly on out ! The sites were so thought out and well designed. Laundry room was very nice. Big looking machines too. Where can I get one of those for my house ? lol Rec room looked very inviting. Super cool pools !!!!! I liked the 2nd and 3rd pools best, and wow those were some cool, hot tubs ! Milo looked very happy that you finally got back from your walk ! "MOMMY, why didnt you take me with you?! " lol Aww, man you can use those huge grills to cook on? Fire pit !!....Oh man, bring me my cooler of beer, yes, its always 5 oclock somewhere ! lol Tennis court, shuffle board, and ball field ??...with a concession stand ?!!!!! Oooo Weee, I'll have 2 hot dogs with mustard and relish, please!!! and an ice cold beer !! 😂😂 Nice little residential area. yup. I could live there ! I say, YES !!! JUMP ON IN the fountain MELODY ! 🤣🤣 Lol, If I come and jump in the fountain too, do I get a little travel trailer. of MY choice ?! LOL !!😂 Wow, this place is too good to be true. And shopping THAT close by. Ahhh, so nice. How long did you stay here ? Only 17 days ?!!! I dont see how you could leave ! Unbelievable awsome place to stay! Milo even got special resort items too. Nice doggy parks !!! He was having such a good time at camp bow wow !!! Love that waterfall at the last pool you showed. Lou looked very relaxed in the hot tub ! 😉 Melody, I hope you got in there with him when you stopped recording the video !! lol Very nice ending to the video. Good to see you all together, sitting and relaxing , and taking it all in ! This is the "tip top" video , on this snowbird adventure, hands down ! You guys did a super job recording, showing , and telling everything they had to offer at the resort! Love all your detail and personal touches !! You came in loud and clear also !! Thank you so much, your video's mean so much, and are so fun to watch !! Take care, Vicky 😁
Shelly and Greg -- Monte Vista RV Resort is our first pick in the Mesa area followed by Mesa Spirit. Neither property has a daily upcharge for Trails Collection Members. Lou
Enjoyed the snowbird talk. I get off the park pads & explore the backcountry. I made some video of it & put them on TH-cam. Search with my name & Arizona, Phoenix, snowbird, etc.
Those remote campgrounds won’t have three pools, hot tubs, and the list goes on. Alas - comparing apples with oranges has little comparative value. Looking for a campfire - probably not best to look in The heart of Mesa, Arizona.
@@LivingOurDreamNow Yes I hear you Its just the clorine in the pools and got tubes is toxic and being to close to everyone is toxic I am totally not a campfire person it's just I know how people are and talk and I find it toxic I know its all good until it isn't 5g cement alcohol can't breathe Just no thank you
Great video and extremely accurate. How do I know? I am here right now. Glad you mentioned that this place is not one of those $20.00 a night resort. This place has great location and amenities ( maybe I should keep that secret). I know it would make the video too long, but there are so many activity rooms that are gorgeous.
What a great park! Melody looked like she was in her element! Great job Melody! Lou had his choice of hot tubs and Milo got to run! We stayed here last year to prep for the Next Exit Boondocking rally in Quartzsite. Amazing the variety of choices available to RVers. Looks like you were in Quartzsite the same time as this years Next Exit’s Rally. Did you get a chance to stop by?
We did meet Bob and Pearl earlier in the year in the Pacific Northwest. While we were in the Quartszite area during the big tent, our travel plans did not allow a visit to any of the boondocking gatherings in the area. Our truck needed unscheduled repairs in Yuma. Thanks for following our travels. Lou
@@LivingOurDreamNow We missed this year in Quartzsite picking up our first rig, a Motorhome. We are planning on going to Quartzsite next January for the rally unless we have unexpected repairs, it will be right at the end of our first year and we will need some repairs before the first year warranty expires for Tiffin. It will be nice to have our own rig and not have to rent. 😃
i retire in 3 years , I'm doing my homework on what rv to buy and where to go . its hard finding out how much snowbird rving will cost long term (3 months possibly)
Good morning guy's, that is a beautiful Resort! Also, thanks for the informative, and stunning review! I have a question, is this a Thousand Trails Resort? And, your contact person for Thousand Trails in a state that doesn't charge Sales Tax for purchase of a membership? Take care and safe travels!!!
Hi Lenny. Monte Vista RV Resort is a Trails Collection property. Any Thousand Trails Member may add the Trails Collection to their membership as an optional add-on. Bob Bostic bounces between two different states based on the season and both do not assess sales tax on the Thousand Trails Membership. Bob is a Thousand Trails Membership Specialist and there is no sales pitch, just good information. Have a list of questions ready before you call. Thanks for watching! Lou
Great review....but I have mixed emotions about you telling everyone of our little secret. We've spent the last two winters here 3 weeks in and 1 out Sept to April. Love, love, love this park!
Nice review. I could tell Melody was very excited . I did an online web rate quote and it shows $1483.-$1900./mo. Jan-Mar 2023 depending if it’s a regular back in or premium pull through site. That’s about the norm for all the nice 55+ resorts in Arizona from the ones I’ve checked or been to. Wondering if they have any other kind of seasonal winter deal ? 🤔
I wouldn’t trust an online quote. Call the park direct. These campsites are pricy if you are not a Thousand Trails Member. If you watched the whole video, you probably noticed all the pricy rigs. There are a lot of folks with deep check books that buy these sites at retail, which this frugal fellow would never do.
Wow!! Quite a beautiful resort. Since it’s age qualified , did you notice anybody under age 55? I’m 48 and was told they make exceptions to that rule sometimes if you call directly.
There is free WIFI at several common areas. I'm not sure on paid WIFI in the park. A cell tower next door gave us fast cellular connectivity. The park office may answer questions on the onsite rental units. Lou

Top notch Thousand trails. The property also has homes. Love the location 202 and 60 in Mesa.
Great video! This information will be very helpful.
Thanks Patrick. Much appreciated. Lou

it looks like top-notch please 👌
This is undoubtedly one of the very best RV resorts under the Trails Collection umbrella. Lou
It just seems crazy that everyone is so close together, you can't even sit outside and enjoy a night time fire
They make remote campgrounds for that. Lou

Thank God
Because I couldn't handle that either

Great video! Just wondering how the noise level is ,road traffic etc....
There is a noise barrier wall between the RV Resort and the road. Noise was not a problem.
@@LivingOurDreamNow Thank you, nice looking resort
Loved this review guys. Melody did a wonderful job on video...but did she jump into the fountain?
Too many eligible men around to be giving them a wet T-shirt tease.

For the most part it is 55 and above, but I would call directly to inquire. This is truly an awesome RV resort. Lou
I’ll be there in late October or November this year. With the Adventure Package, do they limit your stay to two weeks anytime of the year?
Hi Patrick, We are here in the high season and could have stayed 21 days. Lou
I’m currently in Florida Sunseekers Encore Park. I can only stay 14 days. So, is Arizona have a different policy during peak season?
Wow, what a fabulous place. I hope my wife doesn't see this video. ;-)
Oh no! That made me chuckle. Lou
Is there wifi throughout the park? Does the resort sell any used trailers on site already?
There is free WIFI at several common areas. I'm not sure on paid WIFI in the park. A cell tower next door gave us fast cellular connectivity. The park office may answer questions on the onsite rental units. Lou
how much per month
Awesome question -- which should be directed to the applicable RV resort. Lou
You sound like Mr Rogers.
I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks for watching! Lou
I’d be interested in renting a park model here February 2023 if anyone has availability?
Call them - This place has a lot of rental units.
Pet friendly? I don’t see any grass area!
We show one of several dog parks in the video. Lou
Too bad TT bought them.
Why do you say that?
Yes, I'd love to drive hundreds of miles to find nature, only to pull in 10 feet from my neighbor. And have neighbors all around. Yuck
Obviously you’ve never experienced Mesa, Arizona.
