I really hate heartstreel as an item. it is sooo expensive and most games you get like 200 max hp. not worth much
@@anewbeginningquinnyou gonna use it right. Because it’s procs per target, It forces you to target swap which makes it ideal for tanks but not dps. But if you go into team fights often and you target swap as you should you will get 1-5 procs per fight. If the fight is long enough and you have ingenious hunter you can proc multiple times per target. I once got 7 procs in a fight. Finished the game with 2000 stacks
Can someone explain how this is a buff from previously? The only change to heartsteels passive before this that I can see is that they reduced the base damage of it, meaning its worse right?

I think if you combine heartsteel with the full resistance pyke build from a previous vid, you will be able to stay in combat much longer for more stacks. Not sure if the build would be better over all, but certainly at getting heartsteel procs
Been playing Heartsteel Pyke for half a year already: it easily gives 100ad each game
would it be good to add like a Deaths Dance in this for the added survivability? Especially if the heal scales with AD then the infinite AD off HS could heal you to full if you scale enough.

Heartsteel is mostly a win more item. If you are in a game where you can stay alive and get a lot of stacks you would prob win faster with another item.
That said it is a fun item and I think it's in a relatively good place power level wise.
What about buying tank items with heartsteel ,and going tank pyke ?

It is. Don’t do what ioki did. He’s challenger support. If you pay attention he missed so many heartsteel procs cuz this is pyke and pyke kills too fast to proc or he dies too fast. Most of these procs were not intended. He got them by accident.
Makes a video of how you can just stack AD with Hearthsteel now, never show how much AD he was able to stack in the HUD. That's when you know the content creator doesn't even care about the content he creates.

@@i0kiVids You did. Punctually. But my point was with a video titled as you titled it, the whole reason why people are clickbaited into it is too see if the math is mathing. And to look at how your AD stat is progressing as your itemization and your stacks progress and showing that was literally a click away in the HUD. :'( Since quite franckly nobody (at least i) couldn' t care less about the runes stats that were displayed throughout the game because as you said it yourself in the beginning of the video : "quite standard runes for Pyke". So it was kind of disappointing on that part especially to not know in the end how well the itemization did with the AD stat. I wasn't the only comment to point it out so figured it was not just a me problem. People even been commenting to break down the math for it for others to know if it did well. Though i completely get that you had other things to think off especially with how the game was going for your team, i thought that was just a shame. But it is what it is.

Day 1 of asking for the double main comp. Leona botlane, with Senna support. Senna loves tanks, and Leona does a ton of damage through items and is less reliant on her levels to do damage. I would recommend trying different builds between Bruiser and Tank but its super swaggy!

bro. This has been out for awhile now. so it isn't like this now, it's been like this since release
The release of Heartsteel? No, originally it scaled with your hp, including the hp gained from items. Problem for that version is Pyke never gains that hp due to his passive, so he never gains more AD/hp per proc.
The recent change is that Heartsteel now scales directly off the hp of HS and other items, which means Pyke's passive no longer stops the damage and growth of HS from each proc.
