I'm loving these practice rounds! I always watch until the end. A lot of insight, and great tips to learn from if you pay attention. Thanks for the content!
I love watching your course breakdowns. Really breaks down strategy in a way that helps me understand pro's thoughts during tournaments. It also reframes how I look at my home courses. Thanks!
I love watching you guys play. You seem like really good friends. If I can't be out playing DG, at least I get to watch some great players out there having fun. (At least it looks like you guys are having fun). Aaron, we need to get your subscribers up. 475 with a Buzz? CRAZY!
Love your content, dudes. So good. Such good comments about why you are playing each shot, even if my drives go 200+ feet shorter than yours do. 😊 Keep up the good hard work making these very informational videos.
8:38 looks like a good opportunity to practice a different type of putt stroke to get under that branch probably... gl this weekend! wanna see some lead card goose!
Really enjoy the breakdowns and commentary, cracking me up though because I would love to see how many of those holes I would be throwing distance driver with my arm!
as a 61 year old amateur that can only throw about 250-275 and above average putter, I would be totally thrilled to end up just 5 over par on this course over 18 holes, really forward to watching this event this week. I laid out a 650 foot par-4 hole on the school grounds by my house, with a Mando 270 feet off the tee ( basketball court ) and made it to the edge of circle 2 after my 3rd throw...I was jacked!! Lol's
Love how you guys are expanding into Blair Witch style disc golf vids. Probably should have killed off an ancillary character at the end. Great critique of the course!
The course could benefit from a few holes that are a bit more open that leave space to throw distance drivers however it is nice to see a course that challenges the pros throwing slower discs off the tee.
On 17 I swear there is a flip-up shot for the eagle. Something like a passion, throw on as much hyzer as possible and have it flip through the gap and go straight to the pin. At least that's what I thought when I played, but I didn't have the disc for it (only had a Tesla, went near the road near the trees long). Might be worth a try, I swear it's legit.
Did you find the buzzzOS late in the round? Will we see a tour series buzzzOS - as a fellow thrower they don’t get enough love. Also what’s the bright yellow disc you were throwing?
Yeah we found it. The yellow disc I'm throwing is a stable Big Z Anax. I'm not sure it will be a tour series but I will do a run of them at some point since it is my most used disc.
Why does a tour course need distance drivers? Every other course has em in spades. Why not have one or two courses that really constrain your options and emphasize a different part of the game? Brewster emphasizes touch shots that flip at least a little- but you still have to throw them with force. I love this and I love watching it. You two are amazing players, but it seems like your critique is based on your skillsets, not on what makes for high level disc golf in general. There’s a lot of talk about outgrowing certain courses, which rings true in certain cases like the Beast in Waco (and, sadly, maybe even The Beast in Nokia), but sometimes I think “outgrowing” is code for “let me hammer Nukes!” Disc golf mids and putters are so interesting and beautiful- they are getting slowly phased out of pro courses, and I don’t like it.
I agree that throwing putters/mids is a skillset that should be utilized on tour. My biggest critique of these short courses is they are almost entirely short par 3s. The shot shaping and skill set of these holes should still be a part of the course, I just wish course designers would turn them into upshots or tee shots on par 4s and 5s. Playing par 54 disc golf leaves out an entire skill set that is decision making. If you turn a 300' par 3 into a 600' par 4 it gives players a chance to be creative, letting some players go for two putter shots while other take the riskier approach of throwing distance driver but bringing in more risk.
What cycling video?! A field work video with reviews on discs you don’t bag? Crank? Flick? Surge? Crush?! Carts are in style. How about you guys go to the gym? How about try a field video throwing really old molds?
I could listen to Goose talk about disc for hours

Goose with the-S tier course breakdowns!
Great content lads. Goose striking the exact same branch THREE TIMES in a row on hole 11 green made me laugh out loud. Good luck this weekend.

"Let's do a little Tattar sauce right here" and parking a 620 foot par 4 with a Grace is such a Matty-O thing to do lol

What is that Scorch for 😂
How many mids and drivers do you bag, goose?
I bag a couple zones and buzzz OSes. That's about it for mids. The rest of my discs are fairway and distance drivers.
Needs some glow discs.
